Judicial report: 1) CITIZEN AGUERO (J T McInerney) - application was made under GRNZ Rule 56.5 (a) to have this greyhound examined by the on course Veterinarian to determine if it was injury free after being late scratched at the Southland GRC's meeting on the 21st May 2019. Subsequntly the Greyhound was declared injury free and the stand down imposed was removed. ~~

2). The meeting was put back One Race prior to Race 9 due to fog restricting the vision of the Lure driver. ~~

All available films may be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

Race 2	Beachside Cafe & Wine Bar Dash - C4 - 295	SMASH ATTACK (2) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. OPAWA WAIHEMO (3) - placed in restricted room rounding the bend. DYNA DIODE (4) - turned outwards exiting the bend losing momentum. SARAYA JAYDE (6) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. LOCO LOLA (7) - slow to jump. REIGN OF FIRE (8) - boxed first.
Race 3	Islington Tavern Sprint - C4 - 295	BECK ELEVEN (3) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR SPOTTY (4) - squeezed between greyhounds in the run to the bend eventually losing ground entering the turn. MITCHAM READO (5) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend.
Race 4	Kaikanui Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295	EPIC ROSE (1) - jostled with outside runner rounding the bend. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (2) - jostled with inside runner rounding the bend. Checked inwards off heels exiting the bend. KNOW CHARISMA (5) - slow early. BROKEN PENNILESS (7) - slow early.
Race 5	Springston Hotel Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	GO ALL LIN (1) - awkwardly placed to the inside of runner rounding the bend shifting up the track as a consequence. BILLY FROST (3) - contacted from the outside early stages. HOMEBUSH FINN (4) - forced down the track early stages. Awkwardly positioned to the outside of runner rounding the bend being shifted up the track and losing ground. OPAWA JUMPER (5) - dictated down the track early stages. FIERY JEN (7) - began awkwardly settling last.
Race 6	Horse & Jockey Sprint - C5 - 295	PRINCELY GOLD (2) - inconvenienced exiting the bend. BUSINESS ETHICS (4) - shifted up the track rounding the bend. LORD LOUIE (6) - inconvenienced rounding the bend. SMASH WILD (7) - began awkwardly. Inconvenienced rounding the bend.
Race 7	Crate & Barrel Hotel Stakes - C4/5 - 520	This race was delayed by 3 minutes due to a misunderstanding in regards to the correct times the Greyhounds were to be released from their kennels pre-race. SAILOR ALLEN (2) - contacted from the outside in the run to the first bend. DYNA MONTY (4) - forced down the track in the run to the first turn colliding with inside runner. BASHFUL BUFFY (5) - squeezed for room early stages. DYNA DAVE (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages having to check off heels as a consequence losing ground. BARGE BALE (7) - contacted from the outside entering the first bend. Checked from behind rounding the first bend. RINGSIDE (8) - collided with inside runner entering the first bend. Checked off heels first bend.
Race 8	Angler's Arms Tavern Distance Feature - C2d - 732	OPAWA TAB (1) - squeezed for racing room entering the first turn and lost ground. CLASSY WITCH (2) - contacted from the outside early stages. Awkwardly positioned between runners entering the first turn losing momentum. DYNA WESLYN (5) - contacted inside runner early stages.
Race 9	Active Electrical ChCh Canterbury Futurity Sprint Final - R/Af - 295	Prior to the Greyhounds being loaded into the boxes significant fog presented itself with the Lure driver having restricted vision. As a consequence Stewards directed all Greyhounds be re-kenneled and requested the T.A.B put the meeting back One Race. WILDEBEEST (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend. OPAWA LACY (2) - squeezed for room entering the bend. FOREHAND RAID (3) - bumped from the inside shortly after jumping. KETCHIKAN KIM (4) - jostled with outside greyhound prior to reaching the bend. NEELIX (5) - came inwards on jumping making contact with inside greyhound. BENDER TRUTH (6) - jostled with inside greyhound prior to reaching the bend. GOLDSTAR MAJOR (7) - checked on heels entering the bend and lost ground.
Race 10	The Fitz Sports Bar Canterbury Futurity Final - R/Af - 520	KNOW REFUSAL (2) - inconvenienced entering the first turn. BAHAMA QUEEN (4) - checked outwards off heels entering the back straight. GEM (5) - dragged down entering the first turn and fell to the track losing its chance. Vetted following the event where it was reported the bitch to have soreness in her left hind quadriceps. OPAWA LIGHT (6) - Climbed on heels entering the first bend becoming unbalanced and falling to the track. Vetted following the event and cleared of injury. GO GLOW (8) - slow to jump. Checked first turn losing ground.
Race 11	2019 Publicans Cup - C3 - 520	START THE SHOW (1) - bumped with outside runner rounding the first bend. COSMIC RUBEN (2) - jostled rounding the first bend. VON STRASS (3) - bumped with outside of runner rounding the first bend and lost ground as a consequence. Again bumped with runners rounding the first bend. KNOW DENYING (4) - jostled rounding the first bend. JINJA SHAKE (5) - boxed first. Dictated down the track in the run to the first bend. Checked off heels rounding the first bend being clipped from behind as a consequence. KNOW CONCLUSION (6) - slow to jump. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the first bend. GOLDSTAR ASHTON (9/7) - contacted inside greyhound in the run to the first bend.
Race 12	Murray & Hannah@Ray White Cashmere Harding Cup - C5f - 295	RANDY RACCOON (2) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with outside greyhound. SARCASM (3) - placed in tight quarters and had to check entering the bend. Awkwardly placed to the inside of runner rounding the bend and shifted up the track in consequence. NELSO ALLEN (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages having to check. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend. FIRED UP JASPER (5) - collided with inside greyhound early stages. Checked from behind prior to the bend and then again checked entering it. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runner rounding the bend and dictated up the track in consequence. Vetted following the event and cleared of injury. HANKENSTEIN (7) - squeezed for racing room early. Awkwardly placed on heels prior to the bend.
