Judicial report: 1) Trainers S & B Evans were fined $100 after admitting a breach of Rule 19.7 as a result of nominating GOLDSTAR AUBURN (Race 11) for a race for which it was not eligible. 2) CITIZEN AGUERO (J McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling with a wound to a tail.

HOMEBUSH COMBAT (9/1) - stumbled soon after the jump and then contacted by outside runner losing ground with its head hitting the track. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 457	LAKOTA TONKA (1) - attempted to run outwards back straight and contacted by outside runner. Badly checked into bend and ran wide in consequence losing ground. LAKOTA KOHANA (2) - tightened by outside runners early stages. Checked by outside runner late in run home. GOLDSTAR DAYTON (3) - checked by outside runner early stages losing ground. Ran outwards approaching the bend contacting runner and losing ground. OPAWA SLICK (4) - ran inwards early stages contacting inside runners and being turned for a stride. Ran outwards contacting outside runner on bend. SKINNY BINNY (5) - angled inwards contacting runner back straight. Ran inwards late in run home checking inside runner. LAKOTA SCOUT (6) - tightened early stages losing ground. Pushed very wide into bend losing ground. OPAWA DELIGHT (7) - dragged down approaching bend and fell. Assessed by vet and found to have a shoulder injury. This stand down was subsequently rescinded on 24 May. BOYKA (8) - ran inwards contacting inside runner into bend. Raced wide home turn.
Race 3	NZ Racing Series Graduation (C2-C3) Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (3) - ran outwards home turn losing ground. OPAWA ROOSTER (4) - ran outwards back straight and into bend. BARTHOLOMEW CUB (5) - contacted inside runner early stages dropping to rear. Ran outwards into bend contacting outside runner. GOLDSTAR SCOOBY (7) - pushed wide back straight dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and found to have a torn whip muscle. SHIFT THE BLAME (8) - pushed wide into bend.
