Nearing the winning post stumbled and fell free of interference with a post race veterinary examination revealing he was hyperthermic when examined.

Checked from behind entering the bend. MITCHAM FAYE (7) - bumped runner to its inside shortly after the start. Checked entering the bend when runner to its inside was tightened and unbalanced.
