Track: Good The lure wire was found to be damaged following Race 6 and was subsequently replaced and the meeting was put back by two races. Apart from this incident, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME MILA (1) - tightened going into the first turn and lost ground. SEFTON BREW (2) - tightened into the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed there. ASAJJ VENTRESS (3) - shifted in going into the first turn and was in contact and checked and fell taking no further part in the race. Referred to the Vet and euthanised due to a fractured leg. BIGTIME AVA (7) - checked over heels after the start and lost ground and stayed well back. HURRICANE AYLA (10/6) - drifted going to the first turn and stayed well back throughout the remainder.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME STELLA (2) - crowded from the start and was unbalanced losing momentum briefly. CHOICE SISTER (3) - crowded and checked when the start was made and settled at the rear and stayed well back. BIGTIME LEO (4) - shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to inside runners. SKELDALE (6) - shifted in going to first turn and checked an inside runner. Checked the same runner when shifting out on the bend and raced wide into the home straight. BIGTIME OTIS (9/5) - checked and changed ground into the bend. Checked again on the bend and was unbalanced and stayed back to finish last.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	OPAWA MARCIE (2) - shifted out from the start and hampered other runners for a short distance. BIGTIME PUMA (3) - hampered from the start and lost momentum. LIZZY O'SHEA (5) - checked after the start and settled back. BIGTIME ARCHIE (6) - dictated in from the start and then further inconvenienced by outwards movement from another runner. BIGTIME SILVER (7) - was the slowest to begin but made up some ground for 4th place. EUPHAMISTIC (8) - shifted in from the start and dictated another runner in off line.
Race 4	PALAMOUTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	NO MUG (2) - suffered a dislocated toe injury and was referred to the Vet and stood down for 21 days. GOTCHA PIXIE (3) - bumped after the start and then severely checked into first turn and went back to last and stayed there. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (4) - hampered after the start and then shifted in going into the bend and severely tightened an inside runner which went back to last. CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (5) - dictated in from the start which resulted in crowding to inside runners. BIGTIME BEV (8) - raced very wide into and down the home straight and finished well back.
Race 5	RIVER CITY GAS C1 - C1 - 305	BELLA JADE (1) - was inconvenienced going into the first turn and lost ground and stayed back to finish last. PRETTIEST EYES (3) - checked going into the bend and went back to the rear and stayed well back. OPEHU EXPRESS (6) - slow to begin and got back and stayed there throughout. ARTICULATOR (7) - shifted in after the start and hampered an inside runner. Shifted in going into the bend and checked another runner which went back to the rear.
Race 6	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	SHADOW GIRL (2) - began awkwardly and then shifted out making contact and bumping another runner. SMASH ROCK (3) - slow to begin but recovered quickly and received a clear rails run to finish 3rd. MINI MANSION (7) - was bumped in the back straight and forced off line for a short distance.
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	The meeting was put back by two races before this event after there was a problem with the lure wire which resulted in the wire having to be replaced. ARTHUR'S CROWN (1) - shifted out after the start and caused buffeting to other runners drawn further out. WATCH MY BACK (2) - was bumped and forced out onto another runner after the start and was briefly unbalanced. RISING HAWKE (5) - was bumped in a chain reaction of movement after the start and was inconvenienced briefly.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	EMPTY POCKET (4) - shifted out going to first turn and was in contact for some distance. Continued to bore out on the bend and forced another runner wide. CLOVER FANTASY (5) - was awkwardly placed between runners after the start and then faltered and drifted to finish a long last. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 28 days with triangle and gracilis muscle injuries. DEE BEE GEE (6) - tightened between runners and checked going to the first turn. MANLY MONKEY (8) - inconvenienced in the run to first turn and this continued around the bend and into the home straight.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME KAEA (2) - checked on the bend losing three lengths and she stayed back for the remainder. INDY'S BOY (3) - tightened between runners after the start and lost momentum briefly. CAPTAIN KATE (4) - in contact and jostled for some distance after the start and then ran wide on the bend and finished in last place. JAY WENDY (6) - failed to obtain clear racing room in the back straight and was jostled for some distance and then forced wide on the bend.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME PAIGE (1) - checked going into the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed well back for the remainder. IDOL ALAN (2) - checked into the first turn and settled well back and never made up much ground. BIGTIME JASPER (8) - checked going into the final bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 11	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 FINAL - C1f - 305	MANIMAL (2) - crowded and checked after the start due to general tightening. BIGTIME BEE (3) - crowded and checked after the start but recovered to finish 3rd. ZARA DAIKEN (4) - tightened and checked after the start and stayed well back to finish last. BIGTIME GAL (5) - tightened and checked soon after the start and stayed well back for the remainder. KINETIC SHADOW (6) - checked when tightened after the start and stayed well back. BIGTIME CUTIE (7) - shifted in from the start and contributed to tightening and checks to several other runners.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	REPLICA RANGO (2) - tightened after the start and lost ground. Tightened again into the first turn and lost further ground and stayed back. BIGTIME JAMIE (3) - tightened soon after the start and lost ground. Checked again on the bend and finished in last place. NAHARIS (4) - tightened after the start and lost ground. BIGTIME BOY (5) - shifted in and tightened inside runners after the start.
