Weather: Fine
Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout . All other equipment operated well apart from the 520m boxes ( refer judicial ).
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The 520 m boxes were repaired after last Friday's meeting and were checked by the Stewards prior to kenneling and were found to be operating fine.
During trialing the boxes malfunctioned again and after liasing with the Club the Stewards made the call to have the 3 distance races hand started due to the time frame in having the electrician needing to find and repair the fault.
The track was well watered before the start of the programme and improved quickly once racing got under way.
HOT MAYHEM # 8 race 6 has been stood down per rule ( 55.1a ) marring 1st offence 28 days stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
Race 14 Stewards delayed the clearing of dividends for this race due to assessing if any runners were affected by a bird flying down the track and away from the field as the lids lifted and the dogs raced away from the start -after viewing all available film angles it was clear that no runners were affected and the payout was authorised.

ASAJJ VENTRESS (1) - led in to the bend ran outwards contacting runner to the outer ran wide thereafter losing all chance. FINAL STRAW (2) - angled outwards soon after the jump causing tightening and jostling to runners to his outer and himself for some strides. BIGTIME AVA (3) - was forced outwards being severely tightened and checked soon after the start going back to the rear -was able to make ground along the inner thereafter to finish in midfield at the line was referred to the vet . FIRECRACKER (4) - tightened and checked soon after the start -angled out over heels to race wide in to and around the bend to the line. SHOZIP RUBY (6) - caught heels and checked losing momentum and ground racing to the bend ran wide around the bend to the line. BIGTIME MILA (8) - fav- raced wide to challenge for the lead racing in to the bend when contacted from her inner being unbalanced and forced wide losing momentum and ground recovered good ground in the run to the line.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520	BIGTIME STELLA (1) - went up with the lids was then hampered for a couple of strides as runner to her outer angled across was checked on the far bend as a runner came back on her when racing in the rear . BIGTIME PUMA (2) - angled across from the jump hampering runner to his inner for a couple of strides. BIGTIME JASPER (8) - dwelt and was last in to stride by several lengths -came back off heels racing in to the first bend losing momentum -came back off heels again racing in to the far bend going back on to following runner.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 305	LIBERTY BLUE was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the long head triceps a 7 day stand down was recommended. SEFTON BREW (1) - attempted to angle outwards soon after the start contacting runners to his outer JAMBOREE (2) - missed the jump and was last in to stride by several lengths settled last made ground through the field to finish in midfield at the line. PIRULETA (3) - fav- tightened and jostled for several strides soon after the start BIGTIME LEO (4) - hampered for a few strides in the run to the bend when pushed sideways for a couple of strides kept a handy position when running wide across the top bend. LIBERTY BLUE (9/7) - jostled between runners for a couple of strides in the run to the bend held up for some strides in the run across the top bend when attempting to clear heels and was referred to the vet.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME BRET referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left triceps a 21 day stand down was recommended. DIAMOND GEEZER (1) - tightened and checked going sideways for a stride or so in the run to the first bend recovered quickly to race handy thereafter. BIGTIME BRET (2) - severely tightened and jostled racing to the first bend being checked back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention was referred to the vet CAWBOURNE ASSIST (3) - went up with the lids soon after was jostled and checked back to midfield in the run to the first bend. OPAWA TAI (4) - tightened jostled and checked back in the run to the first bend -hampered for a couple of strides racing around the first bend TRUE TESTAMENT (6) - hampered and checked soon after the start when tightened and jostled between runners went back and out over heels to improve in to a handier position in the running. BIGTIME PAIGE (7) - raced wide from the jump staying clear of interference to her inner in the run to the first bend. BIONIC BOY (9/5) - tightened and jostled soon after the start when forced in wards on to runner to his inner for some strides.
Race 5	RIVER CITY GAS C0 - C0 - 305	AHUROA WHIZZ referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. AHUROA WHIZZ (1) - checked and unbalanced making hard contact with the rail racing in to the bend -attempted to make ground nearing the home turn when checking out off heels finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet . OPAWA MARCIE (2) - in the run to the bend angled across the face of runner to her inner causing runner to check at that point. BIGTIME NINA (3) - angled across in the run to the bend hampering runners to her inner for a few strides. SKELDALE (4) - hampered when jostled for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. LESLIE ALBERT (5) - angled in hampering runners to his inner for a couple of strides racing in to the bend .
Race 6	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520	HOT MAYHEM has been stood down for marring ( 1st offence ) 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial. HASHTAG BLESSED (6) - led to near the home turn and was severely hampered in the run to the line when being marred by challenging runner to his inner. HOT MAYHEM (8) - trailed leader came through to challenge on the inner on the home turn and ran outwards marring runner to outer for some distance in the run to the line
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 Ht 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	SLY CATH (2) - tightened and checked in to the bend recovered quickly to make lost ground. BIGTIME GAL (3) - racing to the bend ran out across the face of several runners hampering them for a stride or so. BURNING RAIN (4) - fav- dwelt at the jump settled back held up behind runners in to the bend made ground along the inner around the bend flashed home late in the latter stages. COLLECT A DREAM (5) - tightened and forced inwards on to runners to her inner racing in to the bend CLOVER FANTASY (6) - angled inwards causing tightening and checks to runners to her inner racing in to the bend EMPTY POCKET (7) - ran wide around the bend came outwards on the home turn. ALAMEIN PANDA (8) - raced widest to the home turn -was dictated wider as the field straightened and finished extremely wide in the run to the line.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	DREAM ON DREAMER referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the near hind toe a superficial skin laceration a 7 day stand down was recommended. IDOL PATCHES (2) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend becoming unbalanced and stumbling ALAMEIN DIP (3) - angled outwards soon after the jump tightening runner to her outer soon after was tightened and jostled between runners losing ground as they raced in to the bend BIGTIME KAEA (4) - soon after the start was tightened and checked back from between runners -checked again in to the bend losing momentum and all chance thereafter. ALF TUPPER (5) - angled across from the jump soon after was dictated inward tightening in on to several runners to his inner for a few strides coming back off heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention. DREAM ON DREAMER (6) - angled across soon after the start tightening runners to his inner for some strides racing to the bend settled handy across the top bend ran wide in to the home straight appeared uncomfortable in his galloping action for a couple of strides halfway down the home straight and was referred to the vet
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C1 Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	SAHARA PENNY (2) - angled outwards from the jump contacting runner to her outer jostling with this runner for some distance in the run to the bend was bumped on the home turn when racing towards the rear . SMASH ROCK (3) - hampered when racing handy on the inner nearing the home turn losing a length or so. CAWBOURNE CRUZ (5) - fav- dwelt at the jump was then hampered when jostled for some distance in the run to the bend losing momentum and ground back to the rear and was unable to get in to contention thereafter. SPOT WOODSTOCK (6) - contact with runner to her outer at the jump settled back angled outwards.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	GO ASH referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. MANLY MONKEY (1) - hampered in the run to the bend when contacted from his outer going sideways for a stride or so recovered quickly to keep his position. BIGTIME HUNTER (3) - hampered for some strides in the run in to the bend when tightened and jostled between runners. WATCH MY BACK (4) - contact soon after the start angled in to the bend hampering himself and runner to his inner ran on to heels and checked losing momentum and all chance. GO ASH (7) - dwelt at the jump was last in to stride by a few lengths soon after angled across to the inner making contact with the rail in the run in to the bend finishing in the midfield at the line and was referred to the vet . OPEHU EXPRESS (8) - ran widest in to the bend was unbalanced for a stride or so soon after entering the bend losing some momentum and ground.
Race 11	PRESIDENTS DASH C1 Ht5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	TUFF TEMPTRESS (2) - angled out over heels checking runners to her outer in the run across the top bend. TYNECASTLE FLYER (6) - began awkwardly stumbling for a stride settled last improved between runners around the bend finished on in the run to the line. PRETTIEST EYES (8) - raced wide in to and around the bend -was checked and forced widest in to the home straight. SOZIN'S ROAR (9/7) - hampered racing across the top bend for a couple of strides by runner to his inner checking out over heels.
Race 12	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	SCOTTA PIE referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the off hind hock a 14 day stand down was recommended. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (5) - began awkwardly for a stride or so SCOTTA PIE (10/8) - settled back hampered slightly for a stride or so racing in to the bend drifted to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve thereafter and was referred to the vet
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 Ht7 - C1q - 305 Heat 7	BIGTIME LUNA referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. DEE BEE GEE (2) - fav-began awkwardly contacting runner to her outer settled back improved to get handy in the run across the top bend was unable to finish on in the run to the line BIGTIME LUNA (3) - contacted from the inner jumping away tightened making contact with the rail racing in to the bend going back a couple of lengths clipped from behind on the top bend losing momentum was unable to finish on in the run to the line. SEDGEBROOK PRIDE (9/4) - dictated inwards tightening runner to her inner in the run to the bend - ran on to heels checking and losing momentum and ground in the run across the top bend.
Race 14	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 Ht8 - C1q - 305 Heat 8	The payout was held up for several minutes to allow the Stewards to review the dogs racing soon after the start due to a bird having flown along the track and away from the dogs . After reviewing all footage from two different angles it was clear that no runners were affected by this incident. AHUROA FLYER (6) - began awkwardly stumbling inwards for a stride -ran on to heels and was checked racing in to the bend losing all chance thereafter.
Race 15	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 - C2 - 305	EPIC SPARK referred to the vet and was found to have minor pain in the left hock area with a 2 day stand down recommended. GURU'S CHOICE referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. SOZIN'S FORTUNE referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right side hip support a 14 day stand down was recommended. SOZIN'S FORTUNE (1) - fav- only fairly away settled back of midfield improved along the inner across the top bend angled out over heels on the home turn only battled to the line was referred to the vet EPIC SPARK (3) - bumped at the start -dictated and tightened inwards contacting the rail losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend finishing in last placing a the line and was referred to the vet GURU'S CHOICE (4) - contacted runner to her inner at the jump -handy on the home turn attempted a run along the inner and was severely tightened contacting the rail near the finish and was referred to the vet . BANJO HOPE (6) - went up with the lids and settled last in the run to the bend running widest thereafter. BIGTIME CHAMP (8) - angled across in the run to the bend severely hampering runner to his inner- angled inwards again nearing the finish hampering runner to his inner.
