Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainers ( J & D Bell ) were fined $ 100-00 after presenting SCOTTA PIE # 8 race 3 to race 2.3 kgs up from her last race start on the 25-2-2019 this was an intentional increase with the dog being vetted all clear to race.
There were 9 solo trials held today for the Golden Chase series all runners in the trials were swabbed.
All runners competed from box 1.

WAITOHI ( A Turnwald ) completed trial in 25.95 s
THRILLING BILLY ( P Ferguson ) completed trail in 26.24 s

Race 1 Matt Cross First Call C1 - C1 - 375 KELLYDEAN (3) - soon after the start was tightened and checked back
BIGTIME LIZZY (7) - fav- soon after the start was checked and caught heels stumbling for a stride going outwards and was forced to make ground around runners to finish in to 2nd placing at the line
CASSIA (8) - angled across from the jump causing tightening and jostling to several runners in the run to the bend
SOZIN'S ROAR (9/2) - hampered for a couple of strides when bumped and dictated inwards in the run to the bend.
Race 2 Jason Teaz Every Where Man Dash C1 - C1 - 375 NDORA referred to the vet and was found to have a right lattimus dorsi & right pectoral muscle injuries a 10 day stand down was recommended.
FLYING DEWY (2) - hampered in to the bend when coming back off heels losing several lengths.
HOMEBUSH FLUTEY (4) - tightened and checked racing in to the bend losing some ground.
NDORA (5) - handy to the bend was tightened and jostled going back catching heels and was unbalanced for a couple of strides losing momentum and ground back to a clear last in the running at the line and was referred to the vet
SOZIN'S ANGEL (6) - hampered racing in to the bend when tightened inwards jostling with runner to her inner for a few strides.
HOMEBUSH JASPER (9/7) - angled across between runners in to the bend checking runner to his inner.
Race 3 Trevor Wilkes K9 Since 1979 C1 - C1 - 375 SCOTTA PIE was presented to race 2.3 kgs up today and this was a planned increase. DYNA BART was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the tensor facia lata muscle area a 14 day stand down was recommended.
DYNA BART (1) - appeared to be uncomfortable in his action throughout finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet.
GOTCHA PIXIE (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so soon after was contacted in the hindquarters recovered quickly .
LISSADELL MARCUS (9/7) - awkwardly placed racing in to the bend angled out over heels to race wide for some strides.
Race 4 Mark McNamara Miracle (quarter) Mile C1 - C1 - 410 THRILLING STAN (4) - racing on to the top bend he came back off heels losing momentum and several lengths
CHOICE LASS (9/7) - raced widest around the bend in to the home straight finishing on in the run to the line.
Race 5 Tony Lee Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Too Good C2 - C2 - 410 AMERICANO (1) - handy in to the bend soon after came back off heels
SECRET LILY (9/3) - began awkwardly for a stride or so
Race 6 Dave McDonald Southern Style Stakes C2 - C2 - 375 EYE FAR (1) - hampered soon after the start when bumped and jostled in the run to the bend
KIRKHAM COBY (3) - hampered for several strides soon after the start when tightened and jostled between runners.
SOZIN'S FORTUNE (4) - checked soon after the start and made contact with angling across runner to his outer.
VAN JACK (6) - contacted runner to his inner as he angled across soon after the start .
BIGTIME BAXTER (8) - went up with the lids
NAHARIS (9/2) - contacted and jostled with runner to his inner soon after the start
Race 7 Aaron White Lightning C3 - C3 - 375 FANCY FIFITA referred to the vet and was found to have right fore flexor tendon rupture proximal to assessory carpal bone a 28 day stand down was recommended.
WHITE COMET (6) - soon after the start was tightened catching heels and unbalanced for a stride or so losing momentum and ground back to the rear was unable to get back in to contention.
FANCY FIFITA (9/1) - jumped well trailed leaders finished close up referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay.
BORN FAB (10/5) - went up with the lids and began very awkwardly was last in to stride by several lengths.
Race 8 Darryl Robinson Running Man Maiden C0 - C0 - 457 BIGTIME SILVER referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME BRUNO (1) - fav- was forced to check out abruptly off heels in to the bend colliding with and forcing runner to his outer extremely wide in to the bend
STORMIN' HOME (2) - led in to the bend and was checked and pushed in to runner to his inner going sideways losing momentum and ground
GRUNTY MAMA (3) - checked between runners soon after the start settling back checked again and was unbalanced racing in to the bend and ran wide came together with runner to her inner on the home turn finished on strongly in the latter stages.
BIGTIME SILVER (4) - checked coming off the mats was handy when run in to from behind and checked in to the bend recovered quickly to race handy when galloped on in the run across the top bend losing ground to finish in last placing at the line was referred to the vet
BIGTIME PUMA (6) - ran inwards from the jump causing checks to several runners in the run to the bend angled in running on to heels in the run across the top bend
BIGTIME JASPER (7) - angled across to the lead checking runners to his inner racing in to the bend.
Race 9 George Simon Great (Palmerston) Northern Chase C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457 BIGTIME ALLFIE referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME ALFIE (2) - severely tightened and checked making contact with the rail losing ground racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground and was referred to the vet.
BIGTIME CHRIS (3) - was bumped and went across on to runner to his inner being checked and losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend was unable to improve thereafter.
EYE KNO (5) - attempted to angle across in to the bend causing tightening and checks to several runners to his inner for some strides.
BIGTIME ROCCO (6) - fav- dwelt at the jump soon after was bumped and jostled between runners for some distance being unbalanced and losing momentum racing in to the bend settled back off midfield was unable to quicken in the run to the line.
JINJA FLASH (7) - hampered when tightened on to heels checking out wide becoming awkwardly placed for a few strides racing in to the bend was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 10 Andy McCook Happy Punting Pick 6 C1 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 HASHTAG BLESSED referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. OPAWA HENRY referred to the vet was found to have injuries to the right pectoral & left triceps muscles a 10 day stand down was recommended.
SLAM IT (2) - was tightened and jostled losing momentum and several lengths racing in to the bend
VIBE (4) - fav- settled midfield improved in the run around the bend angled in across the face of another runner when running on causing this dog to check in the latter stages
HASHTAG BLESSED (8) - was badly checked and hampered in the latter stages when checked and becoming unbalanced losing momentum for a few strides inside the last 50 metres and was referred to the vet
OPAWA HENRY (9/3) - hampered for a couple of strides when jostled between runners soon after the start was again hampered in to the bend when coming together with runner to his inner losing momentum and ground finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet
Race 11 Dog Zone Duet Distance C2 - C2d - 660 IRIS ALLEN (1) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run in to the bend on the first occasion
ALLEN MACK (4) - tightened between runners in the run in to the bend on the first occasion.
MIJA SYDNEY (6) - was dictated inwards tightening several runners to his inner in the run in to the bend on the first occasion.
CAWBOURNE TAYLOR (7) - last and ran widest in to the bend on the first occasion then angled outwards to race widest in to the back straight made good ground thereafter.
CAWBOURNE ZULU (8) - began awkwardly for a stride or so then angled across tightening runners to his inner in the run in to the bend on the first occasion.
KAMADA PARK (9/2) - tightened and jostled between runners racing in to the bend on the first occasion.
Race 12 Run For The Rosos C1 - C1q - 457 Heat 2 TIDDY CASH referred to the vet and was found to have an injury to the distal of the right gracilis muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended.
TIDDY CASH (5) - jumped well soon after appeared to be awkward in his galloping action dropping back to the rear finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet
GO RING (8) - began awkwardly and was last in to stride by several lengths.
Race 13 James Van de Maat Melbourne Man C1 - C1q - 457 Heat 3 JETLAG JAG (1) - bumped and jostled resulting in stumbling for a stride or so racing in to the bend losing some momentum and ground.
FIREFLY LAFFEY (4) - began awkwardly for a stride or so settled last was then dictated nearing the bend soon after angled inwards was held up for a couple of strides racing on to the top bend could not improve thereafter.
HERE'S HEMI (10/3) - angled outwards racing to the bend hampering runner to his outer for a couple of strides ran widest in to and across the top bend finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 14 City of Palmerston North Golden Chase 29th March, 2019 C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457 YOU CAN BE referred to the vet was found to have pain in the right pectoral muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended.
YOU CAN BE (2) - hampered at the start was awkwardly placed racing in to the bend when running up on to the hind of runner ahead and was severely checked almost falling at that point and lost all chance thereafter finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet .
ARDEN EMGRAND (5) - checked on the top bend when following runner run on to his back causing him to lose momentum and all chance thereafter.
BIGTIME TEARS (7) - hampered when checked racing in to the bend losing momentum and all chance thereafter.
Race 15 The Commentator's Curse 375M Farewell C5 - C5 - 375 CAWBOURNE LIZ (3) - hampered for some strides in the run in to the bend.
WONG WAY (4) - severely tightened and jostled between runners racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground.
BIGTIME BLACKIE (6) - severely tightened and jostled between runners racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground.
BUTTERBALL (9/7) - angled across racing to the bend contacting and tightening runners to her inner for some strides causing herself to be checked losing momentum and ground
