Track: Good The track was presented in good order being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well apart from the 520 m boxes ( refer judicial )
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Race 1 the boxes malfuntioned when opening before the lure arrived with the field completing a circuit of the track before being caught .
All runners were vetted on returning to the kennel block with # 3 GO RING being the only runner to have suffered any injury with some minor bruising.
The race was abandoned per rule 52.6 and all runners will be paid out and share 50% of the stake per the rules.
After the 520m boxes were checked and the electrician attended there was an issue found that was unable to be repaired for the remainder of the meeting so the remaining 3 races from those boxes were hand started and they will be repaired before the meeting.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	The lids tripped before the lure arrived at the start point with the whole field completing a circuit and more of the track . All dogs were checked by the vet with GO RING the only runner needing to be rechecked on cooling down and was found to have a mild abrasion to the right foreleg with no stand down recommended. The raced was Abandoned under rule 52.6 .
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	This race was started approximatly 5 minutes behind the scheduled start due to the delay in preparing the track after race 1. HOMEBUSH MINNIE was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. REPLICA RANGO (1) - hampered for a stride or so in the run in to the bend. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (2) - began very awkwardly recovered quickly in to stride- was tightened and jostled losing momentum racing in to the bend finishing towards the rear at the line. BIGTIME BAXTER (4) - dwelt and was last in to stride- angled across the face and checking this dog racing on to the top bend. SET THE LIMIT (9/3) - angled in over heels tightening and jostling runner to her inner for some strides racing in to the bend- soon after was checked and lost ground racing on to the top bend finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	This race was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to the boxes not being able to be started by the electric system so were hand started and the race proceeded. BIGTIME TALKER (5) - bumped and went inwards soon after the start-tightened and checked in to the first bend losing momentum and ground back to a clear last in the running angled out widest in to the far and made good ground around runners to finish in to the midfield at the line. IDOL ALAN (6) - bumped and was unbalanced for a couple of strides soon after the start. BIGTIME FRED (7) - bumped and checked soon after the start -angled across in to the first bend bumping and checking runner to his inner. BIGTIME SERENA (8) - angled across sharply from the jump causing tightening and jostling to several runners to her inner for some strides.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C5 - C5 - 305	HARD MERCH referred to the vet and was found to have injury to right quadriceps & right pectoral muscles a 10 day stand down was recommended. BIGTIME JETTY (1) - hampered for a couple of strides racing in to the bend when tightened and jostled. BIGTIME EMJAY (2) - hampered for a couple of strides when jostled racing in to the bend. HARD MERCH (5) - bumped soon after the start -tightened and jostled for some strides and came back off heels racing in to the bend and was unable to improve out of the rear thereafter was referred to the vet . RAPPER TILLY (6) - was unbalanced coming off the mats - was jostled between runners for some distance in the run to the bend losing momentum and ground. BIGTIME BLACKIE (7) - bumped with runner to his inner coming off the mats- was dictated inwards and became awkwardly placed racing in to the bend- made very good ground around the outer finishing in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 Ht1 - C3q - 305 Heat 1	BIGTIME BOY (1) - hampered for some distance in the run to the bend when tightened and jostled losing momentum and ground as the field racing in to the bend BIGTIME LOVIE (2) - fav- dwelt at the jump awkwardly placed between runners in to the bend- soon after came back off heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter. EIGHT OH THREE (3) - went up with the lids and was last in to stride by several lengths was unable to get in to contention thereafter. SOZIN'S NOIR (5) - angled across from the jump coming together and jostled with runner to his inner for some distance as the field raced in to the bend.
Race 6	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 Ht2 - C3q - 305 Heat 2	MISSING ALLEGRO referred to the vet and was found to have a torn right hind gracilis muscle a 28 day stand down was recommended. The Trainer of MISSING ALLEGRO have informed the Stewards that it is there intention to now retire the greyhound from racing. BIGTIME JASMINE (1) - hampered in the run to the bend when bumped and jostled for several strides. COOKIE BISCUIT (2) - hampered and checked outwards racing in to the bend when runner to his outer faltered. BIGTIME MACI (4) - angled across soon after the start tightening and jostling runner to her inner for some strides. MISSING ALLEGRO (7) - jumped well settled near the lead racing to the bend faltered soon after drifting out to finish a margin in the rear at the line was referred to the vet MEGA MUNCHIES (8) - raced widest in to and around the bend.
Race 7	ADEPT ACCOUNTS C3 Ht3 - C3q - 305 Heat 3	JERICHO WARRIOR (2) - hampered when pushed and went sideways for a couple of strides racing to the bend was contacted and checked again on a couple more occasions in the run around the bend to the home turn. CAWBOURNE MOSS (3) - angled inwards racing to the bend contacting and checking runner to his inner - contacted same runner racing on to the top bend and contacted same runner again nearing the home home turn MISS CLAUDE (5) - struck trouble when checked in the midfield racing on to the top bend losing momentum and ground finished in midfield at the line. TOKEN VIKKERS (7) - fav- missed the jump and was last into stride by 4 to 5 lengths -gained a run along the inner in to the bend finished strongest in the run to the line. BIGTIME MINNIE (8) - raced widest hampered for a stride or some on the home turn when out of contention.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 520	MIDSOMER MAGIC was referred to the vet and was found to have a right pectoral muscle injury a 10 day stand down was recommended. MIDSOMER MAGIC (1) - checked in to the first bend came back off heels lost ground soon after to race in the rear thereafter and was referred to the vet OPAWA DENISE (2) - dwelt at the jump last in to the first bend and was hampered for a few strides when having to check outwards off heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter. BIGTIME ALFIE (7) - caught heels and was checked racing in to the first bend then contacted hindquarters of runner to his outer.
Race 9	LASER PLUMBING C4 - C4 - 305	MAD HARRY was referred to the vet and was found to have a fracture of the right hock and was euthanised. GAZZA'S GIRL (3) - was contacted in the hind quarters racing in to the bend recovered well to make good ground thereafter. AUDRETTE (4) - contacted bumped and jostled soon after the start hampered again and lost momentum and ground racing in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention. MILA MILA (5) - soon after the start was caught between runners being tightened and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend MAD HARRY (7) - angled across soon after the start bumping and jostling with runners to his inner for a few strides contacted in the hindquarters racing in to the bend faltered in the run across the top bend dropping back to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME ACACIA (2) - came back and out off heels bumping with runner to her outer in the run in to the first bend. BIGTIME CALEB (6) - raced widest throughout was unable to get in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. OUR TYSON (7) - was contacted by runner to his inner in the run in to the first bend.
Race 11	RIVERCITY GAS C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME HANNAH (1) - was hampered for several strides racing in to the bend when contacted and pressured by angling inwards runner. INDY'S BOY (2) - slow away bumped soon after tightened and checked in to the bend going back to the rear then came back off heels losing momentum and several lengths finished in the rear at the line. ZARA ZOE (3) - jostled and checked between runners soon after the start losing momentum and ground in the run in to the bend when jostled again. BIGTIME ZIGGY (4) - fav- dwelt at the jump soon after was checked and angled outwards over heels settled in the midfield in the run across the top bend was unable to quicken in the run to the line. UNO AGAIN (5) - contacted in the hind quarters soon after the start when attempting to gain the lead LET'S GO SPRITE (6) - hampered soon after the start when dictated inwards being tightened between runners and checked back losing ground as they raced in to the bend. SCOOBASI (7) - ran in abruptly from the jump causing tightening and checks to several runners to his inner for a few strides.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	RENEGADE COMET referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right hind tensor facia late muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended. AWESOME QUALITY (3) - fav- bumped and checked soon after the start recovered quickly back in to stride TIGER UPPERCUT (4) - dwelt and was last in to stride soon after was checked and caught heels as the field raced in to the bend. RENEGADE COMET (5) - began awkwardly for a stride or so then ran inwards contacting runner to his inner soon after angled inwards and was clipped from behind becoming unbalanced and losing momentum and ground finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet. CAWBOURNE AGAR (6) - checked and pushed sideways in to the bend losing momentum for a couple of strides. BREED APART (7) - checked in to the bend when buffeted between runners losing momentum and ground and ran outwards when unbalanced as she raced in to the bend. BIGTIME BEV (9/8) - angled across on to runners to her inner and caused herself to be checked racing in to the bend ran extremely near and in to the home straight.
