Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTRY REPORT:-

The J.C.A received a Review lodged by Mr. J T McInereny against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Unit Stewards at Christchurch GRC's Meeting on the 1st March 2019. The Stewards determined, under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.b, that his greyhound ‘DOOMSDAY’ had failed to pursue the lure during Race 5. Subsequently, 'DOOMSDAY' was suspended for 28 days and ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any further races. At the hearing held today at Addington raceway the J.C.A, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and Mr McInerney's representative Mr J McInerney Jnr, found that it was incorrect for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'DOOMSDAY' had failed to pursue the lure and the review was successful and all stand downs were rescinded.

Awkwardly positioned entering the bend and had to check off heels shifting up the track in consequence. Vetted post race and no injury detected. RAQUEL ALLEN (5) - checked from behind prior to the bend losing momentum. Jostled with outside greyhound exiting the bend and again through the run home. Vetted post race and no injury detected. VIK VIKKERS (6) - jostled with inside greyhound exiting the bend and again through the run home. KNOW BURDEN (7) - checked and forced wide entering the bend.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Sharon Hindson Stakes - C0 - 520	STUMPY BILL (1) - jostled with outside runner through the early stages. OPAWA ROY (2) - racing line impeded early stages. Squeezed for racing room prior to the first turn losing momentum. Ran wide first bend. LENNOX HEADS (3) - josteld with inside runner through the early stages. ABSENT (5) - contacted and turned entering the first turn. OPAWA DANI (8) - slow early. Contacted inside runner entering the first turn.
Race 3	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Dash - C1 - 295	JINGILI JILL (1) - boxed first. Slow early. DYNA ELLIOT (2) - awkwardly placed n heels entering the bend and lost momentum. KOROIBETE (4) - checked off eels rounding the bend. THORNADO (5) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend having to check before being slightly dragged down losing ground. TUBBY KEVIE (7) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. CRUSHINGTON (8) - slow early. Checked and forced wide entering the bend.
Race 4	Kaisa Earthworks Ph 0272073323 Dash - C1 - 295	MAMMA ROSE (2) - boxed first. Slow early. OHOKA MAGIC (4) - bumped down the track in the run to the bend checking off heels. NATURAL ECHO (5) - forced down the track early stages. Placed in restricted room shortly afterwards and lost balance for a stride. Raced extremely wide rounding the bend and through the run home. Vetted following the event with no injury reported. When questioned regarding the racing style of this greyhound trainer J McCook advised it has always been a wide runner with no further action taken other to note Mrs McCook's comments. LEVEE BANK (7) - slow early and continued to lose ground with the field thereafter. Vetted following the event where it was reported to have hock and hip soreness - Stood down for 21 days. HOMEBUSH PIERCE (8) - came down the track early stages impeding inside runners. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding the bend and faltered for a stride. OHOKA TESS (9/6) - forced down the track early stages.
Race 5	Fox & Ferret @ The Palms Sprint - C1 - 295	OPAWA PAM (1) - slow early stages. Placed in restricted room and had to steady when racing into the bend. HOMEBUSH ELLIE (3) - squeezed for room early stages. LEANNE'S WAY (4) - dragged down rounding the bend losing ground. Vetted following the event and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR AUBURN (7) - slow early stages. PARINGI PAM (8) - placed awkwardly on heels rounding the bend losing its balance and ground while shifting up the track. Vetted following the event and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	GALWAY GAL (6) - slow early. awkwardly placed on heels entering the first turn. GO MUFASA (8) - bumped early stages.Placed awkwardly on heels entering the first turn shifting inwards and contacting the running rail losing ground. Weakened final bend. Vetted following the event where it was reported the greyhound to have sustained a deep laceration to its near triceps muscle.
Race 7	Power Farming Canterbury Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH HAZEL (4) - boxed first. MR BLACK MAGIC (7) - boxed first. Checked inwards off heels in the run to the first bend.
Race 8	Springston Hotel Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR MONTANA (1) - slow early. Squeezed for racing room entering the first bend and lost ground. OPAWA HOP (2) - climbed on heels final bend losing ground. TRADITION (5) - boxed first. BLUE SKY (6) - slow early. Dragged down final bend. Vetted following the event and cleared of injury. OUR RICK (8) - slow early.
Race 9	Murray Wigley @ Ray White Ph021480250 Dash - C1 - 295	CHORTLE (2) - shifted up the track and collided with outside greyhound early stages. RIGHT ON TIME (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Forced down the track shortly after into restricted room losing ground. ABACUS MAGIC (4) - bumped from inside early stages. Awkwardly placed entering the bend losing ground. SMASH HURRICANE (7) - very slow early stage.
Race 10	Flair Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW DENYING (2) - awkwardly placed on heels and obliged to shift up the track entering the first bend losing ground. Jostled exiting the final bend. LITTLE SECRET (4) - bumped form inside early stages. Jostled exiting the final bend. OUR SIMBA (5) - shifted inwards at the jump bumping inside runner.
Race 11	Islington Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	OKUKU MISTRESS (4) - awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend shifting up the track in consequence. LONELY BAXTER (5) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend having to check and lose ground. Climbed on heels exiting the bend. CORNALI (6) - checked and lost ground rounding the bend.
