Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CAWBOURNE RIDGE and MANLY MONKEY both completed satisfactory trials which were required under the Rules. The inquiry which was recently opened into alleged abuse towards an Official has been concluded with a Trainer spoken to advisedly and reminded of her obligations as a Licence Holder with no further action by the Stewards required. BIGTIME BRONX from Race 2 was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 a for marring and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. KNOW PUDDING was scratched under Rule 40.7 after the Trainer advised that he had inadvertently nominated for the race and also another race the following week where there was the possibility of a clash if the dog reached the final tonight. The scratching allowed a reserve to enter the field but the Trainer G.Cleeve was advised to exercise more care when nominating in future. CAWBOURNE ZAYNE which competed in the satisfactory trial suffered a deltoid injury and was stood down for 7 days.

WONG FULL ARREST (4) - in contact into the bend and stayed back to finish at the rear. EYE FAR (5) - crowded from outside into the bend and lost ground. BIGTIME ROLL (6) - in contact into the bend and lost momentum and stayed well back. BIGTIME ON TRACK (7) - shifted in going into the bend and crowded inside runners which were checked.
Race 2	PALMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305	JERICHO WARRIOR (1) - was bumped and marred and unbalanced entering the home straight and lost momentum. BIGTIME BEE (2) - in contact with the hind quarters of another runner into the bend and lost mometum. BIGTIME KYLIE (3) - checked from behind over the final stages and unbalanced. INDY'S BOY (5) - crowded from outside after the start and settled back. Crowded again going to the first turn. BIGTIME BRONX (6) - crowded briefly after the start and lost momentum. Shifted in and bumped another runner going to first turn. Marred another runner on the home turn and stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 a and required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. MR. POSTMAN (7) - shifted in from the start and crowded inside runners.
Race 3	AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305	ZARA ZARA (2) - was tightened between runners into the bend and lost two lengths. POLLY THE DOLLY (3) - bumped from behind into the bend and unbalanced losing momentum and stayed back to finish last. SOZIN'S FORTUNE (5) - slow to begin and got back. In contact going into the bend and lost momentum and stayed well back. SPIRIT OF NATHAN (8) - was slow away from the start and stayed back throughout.
Race 4	NZ Racing Series Graduation (C2-C3) Heats - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	BIGTIME MACI (3) - was bumped after the start and shifted out to race wide going to the first turn JINJA SHAKE (5) - shifted out going to the first turn forcing another runner to also go wide. OPAWA LIGHT (8) - forced wide going into the first turn and covered extra ground.
Race 5	NZ Racing Series Graduation (C2-C3) Heats - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	SAUSAGE (3) - was a little slow to begin and got back. Was inconvenienced entering the home straight and lost momentum. OUR BRAD (5) - eased of heels going into the final bend and lost a length. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (9/8) - shifted in entering the home straight and inconvenienced another runner which lost ground.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Graduation (C2-C3) Heats - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	BIGTIME COOPER (4) - Raced in a prominent position throughout the early and middle stages but tired over the concluding stages to finish 5th. IDOL ALAN (5) - raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished last. THRILLING EDDIE (6) - was the slowest to begin and stayed back throughout.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305	UNO AGAIN (1) - slow to begin and settled back but finished on into 5th place. BIGTIME JASMINE (2) - slow to begin and got back but made up ground for 4th place. ANOTHER FLAG (5) - handy to the lead into the bend but then drifted and was bumped on the home turn and finished in last place. MAHALA BAY (7) - began awkwardly and got back where she stayed throughout.
Race 8	THE ROCK 92.2 FM C2/C3 - C2/3 - 520	HE'S A SHARKIE (3) - was slow away from the boxes and then shifted out into the first turn and checked another runner. CAVEMAN SAM (4) - was checked after the start when avoiding the heels of a runner shifting in on his line of running. CAWBOURNE ZULU (7) - checked and lost ground going into the first turn and stayed well back for the remainder. MIDSOMER MAGIC (8) - Shifted in from the start and checked another runner.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305	TOKEN VIKKERS (1) - shifted out going into the bend and checked runners racing further out. Checked short of the finish line and probably cost him 4th placing. EYE KNO (2) - crowded and checked from the start. Made contact and checked another runner short of the finish line. IT'S COMPLICATED (4) - checked from the start and got back. Checked again into the bend and stayed back to finish 2nd last. THREE AMIGOS (5) - shifted in abruptly from the start and checked inside runners. Checked going into the bend and stayed back to finish in 6th pace. BIGTIME CHARLOTE (6) - stumbled after the start and lost momentum. Checked going into the bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 10	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 520	BIGTIME LEVI (4) - tightened between runners after the start ad got back. ROMAN NOSE ZARR (6) - slow to begin and settled back.
Race 11	LASER PLUMBING C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME SHINE (1) - slow to begin and settled back. Checked going to first turn and lost further ground but ran on to finish 5th. JINJA LOREN (2) - slow away from the boxes and got back. Raced wide into the bend over extra ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME MINNIE (4) - shifted in going into the bend and checked an inside runner. HYPOCRITICAL (6) - checked going into the bend but recovered to run on for 4th place. BIGTIME BREMNER (8) - shifted in going into the bend and checked an inside runner and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 12	J P PRINT C4/C5 - C4/5 - 305	IDOL HOT (3) - slow to begin but made up ground to finish in 4th place. AL'S APPRENTICE (5) - jostled going to the first turn and settled back and stayed there. MIKACHU (6) - jostled going to the first turn and stayed back for the remainder. TYSON'S QUEST (7) - in contact going to the first turn and lost momentum and stayed back. MISS CLAUDE (9/2) - slow away from the start and got back.
