Judicial report: 1). CORNALI & TUBBY KEVIE (Race 4), OUR HAPPY JACK & EPIC OWEN (Race 5), SHOE FLY (Race 14) and SLY BET (Race 15) all trained by J Jopson were late scratchings after being involved in an accident en route to the course. An investigation was opened and adjourned into this for Stewards to make further inquiries. ~~

2). Race 2 was declared a No Race Under Rule 52.1 after a fallen runner ran back towards the oncoming greyhounds necessitating the lure having to be pulled up.~~

3). JINJA SPIRIT (J McInerney) - Failed to Pursue the Lure in Race 14 - Stood down to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 55.5 after being found to have sustained a serious injury.~~

4). ZIPPING MAI - (B Conner) - stood down to complete a satisfactory trial after an unsatisfactory performance in Race 14.~~

All available films may be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

GOLDSTAR MONTANA (3) - bumped from outside on jumping. Awkwardly placed entering the bend. DIGGER ACE (6) - bumped with inside runner early stages. KOWLOON LIGHTS (7) - shifted outwards on jumping colliding with outside runner. Contacted from the inside prior to the bend. Awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend and shifted up the track in consequence. JIMI JIMI JONSON (8) - contacted from the inside on jumping. Forced wide entering the bend. GUILTY ROGUE (9/5) - shifted up the track prior to the bend colliding with outside runner. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend and had to check losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR VEGAS (10/4) - bumped with inside runner on jumping. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C0 - 545	This race was declared a No Race after OPAWA NEMO fell to the track entering the first bend before turning and running back towards the field necessitating the lure to be pulled up. All Greyhounds were subjected to Veterinary examinations and cleared of injury.
Race 3	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 545	EDDIE HEMI (1) - shifted up the track entering the first bend colliding with outside runner. Bumped with outside runner rounding the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels and lost momentum leaving back straight. JIN JIN (2) - jostled with outside runner early stages. FORBURY FLYER (3) - jostled from both sides in the run to the first bend losing ground. KNOW POTENTIAL (6) - hampered on jumping. Squeezed for racing room in the run to the bend. HAPPY DAYS (8) - contacted entering the first bend and forced wide. Bumped with inside runner shortly afterwards. Checked outwards off heels exiting the final bend.
Race 4	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310	CORNALI (4) and TUBBY KEVIE (9) were both late scratching after sustaining injuries en route to the course. EPIC MATE (1) - forced down the track in the run to the bend. Raced wide rounding the bend. MERTZ (3) - forced down the track in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH MAYCEE (6) - inconvenienced entering the bend.
Race 5	Forbury Park Sprint - C2 - 310	El Happy Jack (1) and EPIC OWEN (9) were both late scratching after sustaining injuries en route to the course. SIERRA DELTA (2) - slow to jump. Clipped heel prior to the bend. Held up early stages of bend. Awkwardly placed on heels shortly afterwards checking outwards and running. NIPPA EEL (3) - awkwardly placed to the inside of runner entering the bend and shifted up the track as a consequence losing momentum. LONELY BAXTER (4) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runner entering the bend and raced wide as a consequence losing momentum. Dragged down shortly afterwards. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH AUSTIN (5) - lost momentum for a stride when contacted from behind prior to the bend. ROCK BOTTOM (7) - forced to race wide rounding the bend.
Race 6	OGRC Members Stakes - C2 - 545	KNOW OTHER (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend having to steady. KNOW FLARE (2) - Checked off heels entering the first bend and shifted up the track as a consequence. SHIFT THE BLAME (4) - placed inside runner in restricted room entering the first bend. HOMEBUSH ELLIE (6) - began awkwardly bumping with outside runner. Checked from behind entering the first bend shifting up the track. Weakened final stages. Performance noted. KNOW PUDDING (7) - bumped from the inside on jumping.
Race 7	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	HOMEBUSH IZZY (2) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend. AWESOME ANNIE (3) - checked outwards colliding with outside runner shortly after the jump. Raced wide down the back straight. GOLDSTAR ALASKA (4) - slow to jump. DAVE'S DOT (6) - awkwardly placed and fell briefly to the track entering the bend losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (8) - slow to jump.Contacted from the inside shortly after the jump losing momentum.
Race 8	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C3 - 310	SASS 'EM UP (1) - checked first bend. LIGHTNING CRASH (5) - checked first bend losing ground. DEBBIE BAXTER (6) - bumped from outside on jumping. Checked first bend losing ground. ASTRID (7) - bumped from inside on jumping contacting outside runner. HOMEBUSH TASHA (8) - contacted from inside on jumping.
Race 9	Equinox Bar & Restaurant Sprint - C4 - 310	SHAW LEE (1) - collided with outside greyhound SPECIAL AFFAIR (3) - checked shortly after the start. Bumped outside runner entering the bend. REIGN OF FIRE (4) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runner entering the bend and raced wide. FLAMING SAMBUCA (5) - collided with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. COSMIC RICHIE (6) - faltered shortly after jumping. Checked from outside rounding bend. KNOW SCRUTINY (8) - contacted inside runner rounding the bend losing ground.
Race 10	Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C2 - 545	KNOW EQUAL (1) - bumped from outside at the start. PANEL BEATER (2) - came inwards at the start bumping with runner and losing ground before being awkwardly placed on heels. HOMEBUSH FUED (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Checked inwards off heels racing down the back straight. ZEFSIDE (6) - lead early and middle stages before weakening final bend.Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 11	All Fencing Solutions Stakes - C3/4 - 545	GOLDSTAR ASHTON (3) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. OPAWA BRAD (4) - checked from behind entering the first bend. KNOW THREAT (5) - slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels rounding the first bend shifting up the track. ELLAND ROAD (9/1) - inconvenienced exiting the final bend.
Race 12	Peter Sinton Plumbing Dash - C5 - 310	HANDS OF STEEL (2) - bumped from the outside early stages. FOREHAND RAID (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. SERGESS (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Checked off heels,shifting outwards and bumping with outside runner in the run to the bend. MUST BE RUSTY (5) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and had to check losing momentum. FIERY AFFAIR (7) - came down the track early stages bumping with inside runner. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and had to steady.
Race 13	Otago Novice Sprint - SPEC - 310	DREAM HARD (1) - jostled with outside greyhound in the to the bend. Checked off heels entering the bend shifting up the track.Ran extremely wide exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH FINN (2) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR AUBURN (3) - slow to jump. DREAM STONE JADE (4) - bumped with outside runner in the run to the bend.Checked and lost ground entering the bend. NIKKO BAXTER (6) - bumped from the inside in the run to the bend. TARTAN WATCH (8) - checked entering the bend.
Race 14	Otago Daily Times Sprint - C1 - 310	SHOE FLY (4) - was a late scratching after sustaining injuries en route to the course. GOLDSTAR DIESEL (1) - checked outwards off heels entering the first bend. NIPPAOFSAMBUCCA (2) - contacted from the inside shortly upon entering the home straight. JINJA SPIRIT (3) - turned its head outwards towards the runner to its outside shortly after entering the home straight before making contact. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to have an injured left shoulder with a 21 day stand down imposed. Stood down to trial on one occasion. ZIPPING MIA (6) - made contact with the running rail prior to the bend and again rounding it. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities or injury. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial. MICK THE MOWER (7) - checked entering the bend when awkwardly placed on heels. BASHFUL BUFFY (8) - inconvenienced and forced wide rounding the bend.
Race 15	Racing Again January 15th - C1 - 310	SLY BET (8) - was a late scratching after sustaining injuries en route to the course. NORTON BAXTER (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and lost momentum. GOLDSTAR TASMAN (3) - placed in restricted room and had to steady entering the bend. MITCHAM DOUG (4) - checked entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SCORPIO (7) - bumped with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH RAZOR (9/5) - bumped with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend and lost ground.
