Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition. All other equipment operated well.

Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Connections of TYNECASTLE FLYER #2 race 10 applied to the Stewards to have the endorsement cancelled per rule ( 55.7 ) as this dog has completed the required 10 clear runs - this is the first application for this dog under the rule.
IDOL JAN # 1 race 7 was late scratched by the Stewards after the dog slipped the collar on the way to the start and ran across to and grabbed on to the lure.
The wind was very strong at this time and all the runners in this race were affected due to the wool on the lure being blown around.
The collar and lead were checked and found to be in a very good condition.
FUNZALO # 4 race 13 ( W Hodgson ) was stood down rule ( 55.1b ) failing to pursue 1st offence 28 days stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 HT1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	CHEEKA (3) - slow away checked and lost momentum racing in to the bend YEE COO COO (4) - checked and lost momentum and ground back to the rear racing in to the bend. JUST LIKE HARRY (6) - slow away soon after improved in to the body of the field cutting across to the rail checking inside runners. VIKING JOOP (7) - came together with runner to her outer on the home turn and again soon after was unbalanced for several strides losing momentum. PIRULETA (8) - came together with runner to her outer on the home turn and was unbalanced and again soon after straightening losing momentum.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	SACHA ALLEN referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. SAHARA PIPPA (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so soon after came together and was jostled for several strides by runners to her outer. SEFTON BREW (3) - bumped and pushed inwards coming together with runner to his inner. CASSIA (5) - bumped soon after the start when coming together with runner to her inner. SACHA ALLEN (6) - fav- away fairly from the jump came back off heels on several occasions in the run to and in to the bend losing momentum and ground finishing some lengths in the rear at the line was referred to the vet. SHAMROCK GREEN (9/4) - bumped and checked soon after the start when coming together with runner to her outer and went inwards on to runner further in.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	BLITZEM GEM (2) - ran outwards from the start for a few strides. OPAWA MARCIE (3) - went up with the lids and was last away by several lengths was able to gain a clear run up along the inner around the bend to finish on in to 2nd placing at the line. FINAL STRAW (4) - moved outwards after the jump was jostled and hampered for a few strides in the run to the bend. then raced widest thereafter. SLICK AS JEWELS (5) - away well soon after was bumped and unbalanced losing a couple of lengths hampered again and lost more ground racing in to the bend. FIFI (6) - fav- bumped and unblanced soon after the start losing momentum and ground back to the rear made some ground up along the inner to finish midfield at the line. SKELDALE (7) - bumped and jostled soon after the start and again was checked and lost ground racing in to the bend raced wide across the top bend. JETLAG JAG (8) - angled across soon after the start causing tightening and checks to several runners to his inner in the run to the bend.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 520	DIAMOND GEEZER (2) - dwelt at the jump bumped soon after ran outwards and making contact with other runner as they raced in to the first bend. PARADOX PRINCE (3) - ran in from the jump making contact and unbalanced for a stride then ran outwards making contact in to the bend then raced wide finishing towards the rear at the line. JAMBOREE (5) - bumped soon after the start then had to check abruptly losing momentum settled ahead of midfield checked twice and lost momentum and ground in the run in to and across the top bend. TUFF AN' SPICY (6) - bumped and checked at the start and was last in to stride BIONIC BOY (7) - hampered for a couple of strides when trying to clear heels in the run in to the first bend.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	TOKEN VICKERS was 2.2 kgs up today this was an intentional increase by the Trainer the dog was vetted clear to start when spoken to Trainer advised that the dog has been trialling well in recent weeks. IDOL LITTLE GIRL was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. CAWBOURNE MOSS (1) - hampered and lost ground racing in to the bend angled outwards sharply soon after causing severe interferance to several runners. COOL WOLF (4) - was bumped and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend being checked back and stumbled for a stride losing momentum and ground. HE'S A SHARKIE (6) - dwelt and was last in to stride checked in to the bend forced out wide losing all chance. IDOL LITTLE GIRL (7) - angled across from the jump coming together bumping and jostling with another runner checked outwards abruptly off heels and severely checked losing all chance was referred to the vet
Race 6	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE ZAYNE was subjected to a pre race vet check due to a foot concern with the dog vetted clear to start. OPAWA BUCKS (3) - ran out across heels in to the first bend running wide JELANI (4) - angled outwards off heels hampering runners to her outer racing in to the first bend but was pushed back inwards at this point. MISCHIEF VIKING (5) - jostled for a couple of strides then checked losing ground in the run in to the first bend CAWBOURNE ZAYNE (8) - hampered for a couple of strides in the run around the first bend.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	IDOL JAN was a late scratching by the Stewards after getting away from the handler and running on to the lure on the way to the boxes and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. SHADOW GIRL (3) - improving along the inner when she moved out and was checked and unbalanced losing momentum . EMPTY POCKET (4) - hampered when jostled in to the bend checked when bumped hard from the outer in the run on to the top bend. BIGTIME LOGAN (7) - slowest in to stride by several lengths contact with runner to his inner home turn made ground in the run to the line CRACKLE (8) - raced wide in to the bend contacting runner to her inner on the top bend raced widest thereafter.
Race 8	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES HERE DECEMBER C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME JETTY (7) - fav- slowest away was unable to get a forward position in to the first bend was forced to race wide and was unable to get in to contention.
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	LIGHTNING LU (3) - tightened between runners and lost some ground racing in to the bend SOZIN'S ANGEL (4) - tightened between runners and lost some ground racing in to the bend was bumped from behind soon after . LISSADELL BABE (5) - awkwardly placed and lost momentum racing in to the bend ran wide was checked on the top bend losing ground.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	DREAM ON DREAMER (1) - handy to the first bend then checked abruptly out over heels checking runners on the outer. TUFF MR. TEE (4) - jostled soon after the start for a couple of strides CAWBOURNE CHOPS (5) - tightened and hampered soon after the start was tightened and jostled for some strides in the run to and in to the far bend losing ground. CHIP OFF BLOCK (6) - hampered at the start for a couple of strides when tightened between runners OPAWA HENRY (7) - ran inwards from the jump causing tightening and jostling for several strides was forced to check out wide over heels racing in to the first bend GO SLICK (8) - handy in to the first bend when checked and forced outwards losing his position bumped and jostled with runner on his inner for some strides and was unbalanced losing ground racing in to the far bend.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	BULA ROBERTS (1) - handy in to the bend when checked and went sideways losing momentum and ground. AHUROA FLYER (3) - handy to the bend when coming together with inside runner jostling and losing momentum and ground. I'LL BE LOYAL (4) - slow in to stride hampered soon after and lost ground. BIGTIME BOY (6) - awkwardly placed on heels in to the bend made good ground across the top bend to the line. MAGMA (7) - angled in between runners racing in to the bend and was hampered for a couple of strides. CAWBOURNE JEFF (9/2) - slow in to stride
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 1 WIN - C1 - 520	BIGTIME BRIDGET was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right carpus in stopper bone a 28 day stand down was recommended. HASHTAG BLESSED (3) - handy in to the first bend and soon after was forced to check abruptly out off heels was hampered again racing in to the back straight when unable to clear heels and dictated wide. IDOL ALAN (4) - was bumped and unbalanced for a stride or so in the the run around the bend on the first occasion BIGTIME BRIDGET (5) - soon after the start was jostled and bumped for some strides ran wide in to the first bend losing contact with the field and was unable to improve thereafter was referrred to the vet OPAWA TAI (6) - hampered in to the first bend when trying to clear heels losing some ground
Race 13	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 1 WIN - C1 - 305	FUNZALO was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. Trainer W Hodgson was shown a replay of the run to the first turn where the dog turned his head outwards for a couple of strides then moved out and came together with runner to his outer with these two dogs jostling for some distance resulting in FUNZALO making head contact with the other runner. he has been stood down for ( failing to pursue the lure ) 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial. COLLECT A DREAM was referred to the vet and was found to have pain right side deep pectoral - triceps & quadriceps muscles a 7 day stand down was recommended. BIGTIME MOLLY (1) - tightened and hampered for some distance in the run to the bend. EPIC SPARK (2) - jostled with runner to her inner for some strides in the run to the bend when pressured inwards. MISS WIGGLE (3) - angled across soon after the start tightening runners to her inner for some strides in the run to the bend FUNZALO (4) - away well soon after angled outwards turning his out towards runner to his outer both dogs soon after came together and jostled resulting in head and muzzle contact and was referred to the vet COLLECT A DREAM (5) - in the run to the bend angled across in to the body of the field ran in to tight quarters catching heels and falling on the top bend recovered to her paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet BIGTIME BREMNER (6) - fav- came together and jostled with runner on his inner and was hampered for some strides when head and muzzle contact was made in the run to the bend.
Race 14	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	CLOVER FANTASY (1) - handy to the bend when tightened and hampered for a few strides. TYNECASTLE FLYER (2) - last in to stride made good ground between runners to the home turn ran on. AUROS ADVANTAGE (3) - hampered and came back off heels losing ground to the rear racing in to the bend and was unable to improve thereafter. ROKETTO (4) - angled across and was unbalanced for a stride or so when clipped from behind racing in to the bend.
Race 15	MAX REFRIGERATION C2 - C2 - 305	CULVIE DEN (1) - tightened and jostled for some strides and lost ground racing in to the bend LUKE SKYWALKER (2) - angled in jostling for some distance with runner on the inner racing to the bend KING'S CALL (3) - fav- contacted soon after the start and went back awkwardly placed in to the bend between runners and was clipped from behind running widest on to the top bend was unable to get in to contention thereafter. HOT MAYHEM (7) - angled across and made contact with hindquarters and was unbalanced for a couple of strides in the run in to the bend
