Judicial report: HOT MAYHEM in Race 11 was down in weight by 1.6 kilograms and was having his first start for a new Trainer. FREE OPTION completed a satisfactory trial which was required under the provisions of Rule 38.9.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO - C0 - 305	SHAMROCK GREEN (2) - checked back to the rear into the first turn and stayed back. WAIROA LION (3) - slow to begin and settled back. Checked going to first turn and stayed well back for the remainder. SEFTON BREW (5) - shifted in going into the bend and checked inside runners back to the rear. SLAM IT (7) - slow to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout the remainder. AHUROA MAGIC (9/1) - in contact into the bend and checked back to the rear and finished last.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 FINAL - C0f - 305	BANJO HOPE (1) - checked from the start and got back. On heels and checked again into the first turn and stayed well back. BIGTIME HONEY (2) - jumped in abruptly from the start and checked another runner. Checked over heels into final straight losing momentum briefly. SLY JOHN (5) - jostled after the start and inconvenienced briefly. Crowded going into the bend and lost ground and stayed well back. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (6) - in contact after the start and briefly hampered. Shifted in going into the bend and crowded another runner.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	LIZZY O'SHEA (2) - awkwardly placed to the first turn and was checked to the rear. Checked again soon after losing further ground and stayed back for the remainder. MAGIC MARIA (3) - shifted in into the first turn and caused checks to other runners. HOPCORN (4) - checked into the first turn and stayed well back. STORMIN' HOME (5) - in contact briefly on the home turn but recovered quickly. MAINLINE LIL (8) - in contact briefly on the home turn but went on to win narrowly.
Race 4	WANGANUI TOYOTA C0 - C0 - 305	CHEEKA (2) - slow to begin losing three lengths. Checked and shifted out into the line of another runner which fell into the bend. VIKING JOOP (4) - checked into the bend and shifted into the line of another runner. BIGTIME BEE (6) - in contact from the start and got back. Checked and fell into the bend but finished the race. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 10 days with thigh muscle pain. BLUR OF MOTION (8) - lay in into the bend and inconvenienced another runner briefly. WAY ANCHOR (9/5) - in contact from the start and lost momentum briefly but made up ground to finish 3rd.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520	MISCHIEF VIKING (2) - checked from behind into first turn and lost momentum. Raced very wide in back straight but ran on well for 3rd placing. LUCKY MICK (3) - checked going into the first turn and went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 7 days with thigh muscle pain. DYNA BOOMER (4) - checked from behind into the first turn and was briefly inconvenienced. KAMADA PARK (6) - checked into the first turn and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 6	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	SKELDALE (1) - in contact and checked after the start and stayed back throughout. CASSIA (2) - in contact and lost ground after the start and stayed back for the remainder. MANIMAL (4) - jostled after the start but recovered to go on and win. MONTY (5) - in contact after the start but quickly recovered to finish 2nd. RAINING SIXES (6) - jostled after the start and inconvenienced losing momentum briefly. ALAMEIN SIMBA (7) - forced wide into the bend over ground and stayed well back.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	TUFF MR. TEE (3) - shifted out after the start and checked another runner which was inconvenienced. OPAWA TAI (5) - checked after the start and settled back. STORMY JAY (7) - checked at the start and got back but recovered to go on and win. BIGTIME MACI (8) - shifted in from the start and hampered another runner which settled back.
Race 8	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES HERE IN DECEMBER C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE LOOKS (2) - bumped going to first turn and briefly unbalanced. COCKNEY RIP OFF (3) - hampered from the start and settled back. Raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished back in the field. VIKING ASH (4) - hampered from the start and got back. bumped going to the first turn and unbalanced briefly. Checked into the bend and stayed back for the remainder. DOOSH (6) - shifted in and made contact going to the first turn but recovered well. HOTDOG SHANNON (8) - in contact going to the first turn and inconvenienced. Checked into the bend and lost ground and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 9	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	IDOL FANCY PANTS (3) - checked off heels and shifted out into the bend and forced another runner wide on the bend. EPIC SPARK (5) - bumped and unbalanced from behind going into the bend. MAGMA (6) - slow to begin and settled back but made up ground for 4th. WONG FULL ARREST (7) - forced wide over extra ground into the bend.
Race 10	HATRICK DASH C1 Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	OUTA SIMS (4) - checked going into the bend losing four lengths. BIGTIME FORECAST (6) - tightened between runners going to the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed there. MISS WIGGLE (7) - shifted in going into the bend and checked another runner.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	SIMPLE REQUEST (1) - began awkwardly losing ground and stayed well back. HOT MAYHEM (2) - began awkwardly and settled back but did make up some ground. CAWBOURNE OWEN (3) - bumped and unbalanced from the start and stayed well back for the remainder. Forced wide into the home straight. CAWBOURNE BEE (4) - slow to begin and got back. Shifted wide approaching the home turn and forced another runner wide.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 HT5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	WATCH YOUR BACK (1) - bumped from the start and settled back but ran on well to finish 2nd. PRETTIEST EYES (2) - hampered from the start and got back and stayed there throughout. BELLA JADE (5) - checked from behind into the bend and stayed back to finish last. NGAKAWAU (8) - checked going into the bend and was inconvenienced.
Race 13	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	PAT PATTERSON (1) - jostled and lost momentum after the start but recovered to finish 2nd. CLOVER FANTASY (2) - jostled after the start and lost ground and stayed well back for the remainder. BIGTIME PEARL (3) - crowded between runners and inconvenienced going to the first turn. OPAWA BUCKS (8) - slow to begin and lost three lengths but made up ground to finish 4th. LEO'S SON (9/4) - tightened and chec ked losing ground going to first turn
Race 14	LASER PLUMBING C1 Ht7 - C1q - 305 Heat 7	TUFF TEMPTRESS (2) - checked over heels into the bend and shifted out to race wide and finished last. BIGTIME MURPHY (4) - began awkwardly losing ground and stayed well back throughout. SWIFT LIBERTY (5) - Referred to the Vet and found to have triangle muscle pain CAWBOURNE WEB (8) - forced wide into the bend over extra ground and stayed well back. FOUR TWENTY (9/6) - slow to begin and settled back but did make up some ground.
Race 15	MAX REFIGERATION C1 Ht8 - C1q - 305 Heat 8	BIGTIME BOY (2) - hampered at the start and lost momentum. Crowded again into the bend but recovered to run on for 3rd place. ACCRA (3) - shifted in from the start and crowded inside runner briefly. Shifted in again and crowded the inside runner into the bend. MANLY MONKEY (8) - galloped on another runner into home straight and lost momentum and stayed well back. SHAKTI (9/1) - Was galloped on into the straight and stayed back to finish last.
