Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Due to the prevailing weather conditions trainers were consulted throughout the day with regards to the safety of the track. In consultation with several senior trainers, the vet and club officials, stewards deemed the track to be safe to race on despite being slushy. The following trainers, A Bradshaw (represented by P Seque), J Jopson (represented by C Steele), C Steele and A Lee late scratched their respective runners with an inquiry opened and adjourned into these scratchings.

M'LADY SADIE (6) - ran wide entering the home straight. EVERY MINUTE (7) - ran in entering the bend checking runner to its inside.
Race 2	Green Island Barber Feature - C2q - 310 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH SCORPIO (1) - checked from behind entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SKIP (4) - jostled with runner to its outside nearing the bend. TRICODE BOY (5) - jostled with runner to its inside nearing the bend.
Race 3	All Fencing Solutions Stakes - C0 - 545	OPAWA PINK (2) - ran out shortly after the start when looking to race wider. Bumped runner to its outside nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Raced wide into the first bend. KNOW CAUSE (4) - checked and stumbled losing ground when runner to its outside ran in sharply at the start. OPAWA FLASH (5) - checked when runner to its outside ran in sharply at the start. ABSENT (6) - bumped from runner to its inside nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Contacted by runner to its inside entering the back straight. ZARA FAB (7) - checked when runner to its outside ran in sharply at the start. OUR SADIE (9/8) - ran in sharply at the start causing checks to several runners to its inside. Hit the rail at the winning post on the first occasion, a post race veterinary examination revealed no injury. Ran out entering the back straight coming into contact with a runner to its outside.
Race 4	Green Island Barber Feature - C2q - 310 Heat 2	CORNALI (3) - ran in at the start. Ran out nearing the bend squeezing runner to its outside. ASTRO TIPPLE (5) - slow away. GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (6) - squeezed between runners nearing the bend. Ran out on the point of the bend forcing runner to its outside wider. HOMEBUSH BODEN (8) - ran in nearing the bend squeezing runner to its inside. Forced over extra ground on the point of the bend.

Jostled with runner to its outside nearing the bend. ZIPPING LANCE (3) - checked shortly after the start. Bumped runner to its outside when attempting to move wider nearing the bend.
