Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: KATHLEE, BIGTIME BRONX and CAWBOURNE WEB completed satisfactory trials which were required under the provisions of Rule 38.9. MANLY MONKEY also completed a satisfactory trial wearing blinkers and is cleared to race wearing that item of equipment. BLAZIN AUDREY was down in weight by 1.7 kilograms and this was an intentional decrease. The lure Driver was spoken to advisedly and requested to keep the lure as close as possible to the required distance ahead of the lead dog at all times after the leaders were considered to be too close into and around the first bend in Race 7.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	SLICK STAR (1) - crowded into the first turn and was shuffled back to last and stayed back to finish in that position. NDORA (2) - crowded into the bend and was shuffled back to near the rear and stayed back and finished out wide on the track. OPEHU EXPRESS (3) - crowded into the bend and lost momentum ZARA DAIKEN (4) - slow to begin and settled back but improved to finish in 3rd place. SLY CARL (5) - shifted in going to the first turn and crowded inside runners which were checked losing ground.Was referred to the Vet and found to have a sesamoid injury with a 10 day stand down. SPOT WOODSTOCK (9/7) - slow away from the start and did make up some ground to finish 5th.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 FINAL - C2f - 520	BIGTIME ALLDONE (1) - was handy early in the race but faded over the final stages and finished last. IDOL PATCHES (2) - raced very wide down the back straight and around the bend. SHAREEF (8) - slow away from the start and settled back. Suffered a hind leg injury on first bend and took no further part. Was referred to the Vet and euthanized due to a fractured hock. THRILLING STAN (9/7) - slow to begin and settled back in the field where he stayed. Raced wide in the back straight and around the bend.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C4 - C4 - 305	IVANHOV (7) - slow from the start and never made up any ground throughout and finished last. BIGTIME DOUG (8) - raced wide over extra ground and finished back in 6th place. JINJA RULES (9/6) - slow from the start and stayed back to finish in 7th place.
Race 4	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 520	TIPPERARY MEL (1) - went off stride entering the home straight and drifted quickly to finish in last place. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a fractured hock TOMMY THE JETT (4) - bumped from the start and settled back but ran on for 3rd place. BIGTIME KIOWA (5) - in contact from the start and settled back. Drifted to the rear on the first bend and finished well back. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA DENISE (7) - drifted to the rear going to the back straight and stayed back to finish well behind the main body of the field. Was referred to the Vet and cleared.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BIGTIME BASHER (2) - tightened into the first turn and checked and fell but regained his feet and finished the race. Referred to the Vet and found to have bruising to a shoulder and thigh with a 10 day stand down AL'S APPRENTICE (3) - tightened into first turn and was checked losing ground. BIGTIME RAPID (5) - checked into the bend and lost ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME SHINE (6) - checked and unbalanced into the bend and lost momentum.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 520	CLOVER BUBBA (3) - brushed the rail entering the home straight and was slightly unbalanced. RENEGADE COMET (4) - was bumped after the start and briefly unbalanced and he settled at the rear and stayed back throughout. BIGTIME TALKER (8) - raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished with the rear group.
Race 7	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 305	UNO ELEVEN (4) - was awkwardly placed in tight quarters into the bend and lost ground BROKEN WALLET (5) - shifted in going into the bend and was in contact and was checked back to the rear and finished last. TYNECASTLE FLYER (6) - was awkwardly positioned into the bend and checked off heels losing momentum. BRIGHTEYE'S SOUL (7) - angled out into the bend and raced wide for a short distance. GO ASH (8) - in contact and was inconvenienced for a short distance into the bend.
Race 8	CHICKEYMUNGA BOYS STRAIGHT ARM TO BUDAPEST 2020 C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME CALEB (2) - in contact into the first bend and ran a little wide. BIGTIME FOREST (3) - slow away from the start and settled back CHEESE AND CHALK (4) - in contact and slightly unbalanced into the first turn and lost momentum briefly. BIGTIME FRED (7) - slow from the boxes and got back where he stayed throughout.
Race 9	The Fitz Sports Bar Galaxy Prelude C5 - C5 - 305	HIP HOP RAPPER (2) - was observed to lose several lengths into the bend and stayed back to finish the race several lengths last and was referred to the Vet. Found to have a quadricep muscle injury with a 14 day stand down. BENNY BURRITO (3) - began awkwardly losing ground and stayed back. In contact on home turn losing ground and stayed back to finish in 6th place. MILA MILA (7) - In contact approaching the home turn and lost momentum.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino NZ Cup Prelude C5 - C5 - 520	WAITOHI (6) - checked when tightened going to first corner and was in contact soon after and went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in 7th place. BIGTIME LILY (7) - crowded going to first turn and lost ground. In contact soon after and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. NATURE'S GENT (8) - shifted in going into first turn and checked other runners which lost ground.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 Ht1 - C3q - 305 Heat 1	RUNNING FREER (3) - was the slowest to begin and settled back but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place DARK SYRAH (6) - jumped out slightly and contributed to tightening to another runner which lost ground. LUCHA (7) - crowded from both sides at the start and got back where she stayed throughout to finish last. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (8) - jumped in abruptly from the start and inconvenienced another runner which lost ground.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 Ht2 - C3q - 305 Heat 2	BIGTIME KYLIE (1) - was awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and was tightened and checked to the rear but recovered to finish in 4th place. THREE AMIGOS (2) - was awkwardly placed into the bend and was in contact and checked losing four lengths and never recovered, finishing last. KING'S CALL (4) - was crowded from outside into the bend and lost ground. STOLE ME CAR (7) - was bumped going into the bend losing ground and stayed back to finish 7th.
