Judicial report: SOZIN'S FORTUNE in Race 7 was a late scratching under the provisions of Rule 44.20 when found to have a gracilis muscle injury when presented at the kennels.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C1 - C1 - 375	ZARA ZARA (4) - began awkwardly and then settled well back and stayed there throughout. WATCH MY BACK (8) - was in contact on the bend and then drifted and finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a hip support injury.
Race 2	Use Petraveller.com.au C1 - C1 - 375	OUR TYSON (1) - raced wide over extra ground on the bend but kept up a strong run to finish 4th. JUDGE ME JACKIE (2) - galloped on the back of another runner into the bend and lost momentum briefly. BILLY'S CHURN (4) - led into the bend but was checked from behind losing four lengths but did recover to run on for 2nd place. CAWBOURNE JOHNO (5) - awkwardly placed into the bend and was inconvenienced losing ground and stayed back for the remainder. LISSADELL MARCUS (6) - checked from behind into the bend and lost momentum and stayed well back. KELLYDEAN (7) - raced very wide into the home straight and lost ground as a result. MITCHAM MOODY (8) - was the slowest to begin but recovered well to go on and win the race.
Race 3	Ionlyflyfirstclass.com C1 - C1 - 375	PICK A PASCAL (1) - was dictated in from the start and lost momentum and settled back where he stayed for the remainder. GO ASH (2) - shifted in from the start and dictated the line of an inside runner. COOL WOLF (8) - raced wide throughout over extra ground and stayed well back.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375	OPAWA LYON (1) - slightly hampered after the start and got back and stayed there throughout. TAZIA (2) - dictated in after the start but was only slightly affected and made up ground to finish 2nd. HARD MERCH (7) - hampered after the start and settled back. Raced wide on the bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 5	Nancy Cobain Distance Heats Oct. 15th - C2d - 660	IRIS ALLEN (1) - was crowded after the start and settled back where she stayed throughout. BIGTIME CHLOE (5) - shifted in from the start and crowded an inside runner which was checked. MIJA SYDNEY (8) - raced wide into the first bend and then settled in last place but did make up some ground over the concluding stages.
Race 6	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2 - C2 - 375	NAHARIS (1) - Was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and stood down for 28 days with a tarsus injury. MARY BLUE BLOOD (2) - checked going to the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. BIGTIME CONRAD (3) - shifted out going into the bend and raced wide covering extra ground but ran on for 4th place. GOLDSTAR SAWYER (8) - was checked losing ground on the bend.
Race 7	Paul Claridge Electrical C2 - C2 - 375	THRILLING EDDIE (3) - in contact after the start and lost ground. Was checked and fell on the bend but regained his feet and finished the race. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 7 days with bruising over the left thigh. Vet WET GAMBLER (4) - in contact after the start and settled at the rear but ran on well for 4th place. WHITE COMET (7) - checked on the bend and went back several places and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 8	Brooks Timing C2/C3 - C2/3 - 375	CAWBOURNE BRANDY (2) - shifted out on the bend and forced outside runners to go wide and finished the race very wide on the track. LITTLE SCAMP (3) - slow to begin losing three lengths. Raced wide over ground on the bend and finished very wide out on the track. MIKACHU (6) - forced wide on the bend and was inconvenienced and stayed back to finish 6th. TOMMY THE JETT (7) - raced wide over ground on the bend but finished well for 4th place. EL HEFE (8) - forced wide on the bend and finished in last place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375	BIGTIME EMJAY (2) - crowded going into the bend and lost ground going back a couple of places but ran on to finish 3rd. BIGTIME ONFIRE (8) - slow to begin losing two lengths. Shifted in on the bend and inconvenienced another runner which lost momentum. FUSION CRONULLA (9/1) - tightened adjacent to the rail into the bend and was shuffled back to last and stayed well back.
Race 10	Adrian Clark - Bloodstock Consultant C1 - C1 - 457	FIREFLY LAFFEY (2) - slow away from the boxes and settled back. BIGTIME LEEROY (3) - also slow from the start and then shifted out making contact with another runner. BRADAM BEGINS (7) - bumped after the start and unbalanced briefly and he stayed out wide throughout to finish 2nd last.
Race 11	Kamada Park C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	CAWBOURNE MUZZA (2) - slow away from the boxes and settled back. In contact into the bend and unbalanced losing momentum. GENTLEMAN TIM (3) - jostled into the bend losing momentum for a short distance. OCEAN GAMBLER (4) - in contact into the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and stayed back. BIGTIME ALLGOOD (6) - was the slowest to begin and settled back but made up ground to finish 2nd. LITTLE JUZZY (7) - in contact into the bend and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder BIGTIME FORECAST (8) - checked going into the bend losing ground and stayed back for the remainder
Race 12	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	JINJA FLASH (3) - in contact going to the first turn and was unbalanced losing momentum. DIDDILEE (4) - tightened between runners in the early stages and was inconvenienced. In contact going to the first turn and was hampered. THRILLING STAN (6) - slow to begin losing three lengths and stayed back throughout the race. TUNA SPEED (7) - in contact into the bend and was briefly inconvenienced losing momentum.
Race 13	M & M Master Butchers C3 - C3 - 457	BIGTIME OWEN (1) - tightened into the first turn and went back to the rear and never recovered. ALL BLACK STAR (2) - crowded and shuffled back to the rear into the first turn and he stayed back for the remainder. BIGTIME DOUG (3) - shifted in going to the first turn and crowded inside runners which were checked back to the rear. BUDDY LOADED (6) - raced wide throughout over extra ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 14	Total Bodyshop Supplies C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	BIGTIME ROSIE (3) - was bumped after the start and unbalanced losing ground and she settled back and stayed there for the remainder. BIGTIME BRUCIE (6) - was slow from the boxes losing three lengths. Crowded and checked into the bend losing further ground and stayed back. BIGTIME LIAM (7) - shifted in and checked a following runner into the bend.
Race 15	Outback Trading Co. Manawatu Cup Heats Oct. 8th C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME VANESSA (1) - tightened between runners going to the first turn and was checked back to the rear losing three lengths. BIGTIME LEVI (2) - slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish 3rd. THOMAS WILLIAM (4) - slow away from the start and settled back. LUNCH SPECIAL (6) - dwelt at the start and lost ground and he stayed back throughout and finished 2nd last.
