Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTRY REPORT:- The J.C.A received a Review lodged by Mr. J T McInerney against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Unit Stewards at Southland GRC's Meeting on the 18th September 2018. The Stewards determined, under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.b, that his greyhound ‘HOMEBUSH HUNDY’ had failed to pursue the lure during Race 10, The Find Us On Twitter@SGRCINFO. Subsequently, "HOMEBUSH HUNDY" was suspended for 28 days and ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any further races. At the hearing held today at Forbury Park Raceway the J.C.A, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and Mr McInerney, the J.C.A reserved their decision.

1). YI FENG (race 1) was stood down for 3 months and completion of a satisfactory trial under rule 55.1 (second offence). ~~ 2). BAHAMA QUEEN (race 3) was stood down for 28 days and completion of a satisfactory trial under rule 55.1 (first offence). ~~ 3). The stand down for SOUTHERN HONEY from 18 September 2018 at Southland GRC was recinded under rule 40.12 with a veterinary certificate being presented to stewards confirming that she is not in season.~~4). Trainer J. Dunn was questioned by stewards regarding the scratchings of ASTRID (race 13) and BUSINESS ETHICS (race 15) with Mr Dunn stating that he had transport issues on the morning of the meeting and was unable to transport all of his dogs to the meeting. Mr Dunn's explanation was accepted on this occasion with no penalties imposed.~~ All available films will be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b)

NIKKO BAXTER (4) - forced wide on the point of the bend by runner to its inside. HOMEBUSH PIERCE (5) - ran in entering the bend bumping the runner to its inside. YI FENG (6) - turned his head free of interference in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no injury. Stood down for 3 months and completion of a satisfactory trial. Re- examined Addington 27/9/18 and 21 day injury found. GOLDSTAR AVALON (9/2) - ran out on the point of the bend forcing runner to its outside wider.
Race 2	All Fencing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310	DREAM HARD (1) - attempted to move off the rail racing into the bend inconveniencing runners to its outside. SACRED OPERA (3) - slow away. HOMEBUSH MIKEY (5) - checked off heels at the point of the bend. FOREHAND RAID (6) - slow away. HOMEBUSH AUSTIN (8) - ran in inconveniencing runners to its inside shortly after the start.
Race 3	OGRC Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545	BAHAMA QUEEN (5) - checked racing into the first bend. Failed to pursue the lure in that it turned its head free of interference racing out of the final bend and stood down for 28 days and completion of a satisfactory trial. KNOW ANXIETY (6) - raced wide for the entirety of the first straight. Checked when attempting to improve to the inside of runners entering the final bend. BLACK BOBBY (9/1) - checked off heels racing out of the first bend. Fell shortly after the finish with a post race veterinary inspection revealing no injuries.
Race 4	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	KOPUTAI (1) - ran wide into the first bend and the for the remainder of the race. GO BELLE (7) - bumped by runner to its inside racing into the home straight.
Race 5	Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C2 - 310	DISOBEDIENCE (1) - bumped with outside greyhound exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH BANKER (2) - slow to jump. Jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the line. AUROS ADVANTAGE (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check. LONELY BAXTER (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. ZIPPING JEN (6) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend losing ground. Jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the line before having to check inwards off heels. EPIC BOOM (7) - slow to jump. CHASING FAME (8) - bumped with inside greyhound exiting the bend.
Race 6	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C2 - 310	SASS 'EM UP (3) - checked off heels racing into the bend inconveniencing runners to its outside. LIGHTNING CRASH (4) - slow away. SIERRA DELTA (5) - inconvenienced by runner to its outside. Ran out into the bend inconveniencing runners to its outside. MAGIC TRACEY (6) - ran in at the start inconveniencing runners to its inside.
Race 7	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 545	HOMEBUSH IZZY (1) - bumped runner to its outside at the winning post on the first occasion. GOTCHA ROCKY (3) - raced wide down the back straight. TOKEN PICK (4) - began awkwardly bumping runners to its inside and outside shortly after the start. Bumped a runner to its outside racing into the first bend. Was inconvenienced just prior to entering the home straight when looking for clear racing room. AWESOME ANNIE (5) - ran wide racing into the first bend. GLASS HARPOON (8) - bumped by a runner to its inside racing into the first bend.
Race 8	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C2 - 545	ZIPPING RIPLEY (5) - ran wide racing into the first bend. SHIFT THE BLAME (7) - ran in sharply after the start. PUZZLE TIN (8) - ran wide racing into the first bend.
Race 9	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C3 - 310	GOTCHA ZENA (4) - checked off heels racing into the bend. JEALOUS MUCH (5) - Bumped runner to its outside late in the home straight. DUSKY BREW (7) - checked on the point of the bend. Bumped runner to its inside late in the home straight.
Race 10	President's Sprint - C4 - 310	HOMEBUSH SKIP (2) - squeezed in general tightening racing into the bend. PRINCELY GOLD (3) - squeezed in general tightening racing into the bend. KNOW SWEAT (4) - slow away then ran wide racing into the bend. KNOW APPROVAL (5) - squeezed in general tightening racing into the bend. ANOTHER MESSAGE (6) - squeezed in general tightening racing into the bend.
Race 11	Forbury Park Dash - C4/5 - 310	LORD LOUIE (3) - checked shortly after the start. Ran out inconveniencing runners to its outside. KALONGA (5) - ran in sharply shortly after the start. COSMIC RUBEN (6) - inconvenienced by runner to its inside. OHOKA ALEX (8) - began awkwardly losing several lengths. DISCLAIMER (9/7) - inconvenienced by runner to its inside.
Race 12	Otago Daily Times Stakes - C2/3 - 545	KNOW SHAME (1) - bumped from runner to its outside racing out of the first bend. OPAWA RACER (3) - tightened at the winning post on the first occasion. KNOW HASSLE (4) - raced wide into the first bend.
Race 13	Otago Sprint - C1 - 310	REIGN OF FIRE (2) - ran out on the point of the bend inconveniencing runners to its outer. JOE BONANZA (4) - checked racing into the bend losing ground. BLACK DAN (6) - squeezed between runners on the bend. HANDS OF STEEL (8) - ran in sharply at the start. Bumped runners to its inside racing into the first bend and again on the point of the bend.
Race 14	Peter Sinton Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 310	NORTON BAXTER (5) - hampered by the fallen runner losing ground. HOMEBUSH TESAN (6) - ran in sharply at the start. Hampered by the fallen runner. SLY BET (7) - squeezed between runners racing and checked from behind racing into the bend and subsequently falling. Regained his feet and completed the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed no injuries. BIGTIME KENDALL (8) - badly hampered by the fallen runner losing ground.
Race 15	Racing Again Tuesday 9 October - C1 - 310	HOMEBUSH CLINT (1) - slow away. HOMEBUSH RAZOR (3) - ran wide throughout the run home. DARLEK IAN (5) - bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. MICK THE MOWER (7) - bumped by inside runner on the point of the bend. DREAM STONE JADE (8) - checked off heels on the home turn. KETCHIKAN KIM (10/4) - momentarily inconvenienced on the home turn.
