Judicial report: CAWBOURNE BETTSY in Race 6 was up in weight by 1.9 kilograms and this was an intentional increase. Last start winner ALF TUPPER was up in weight by 1.4 kilograms from his last start but this was within the rules. However, the increase mystified the co-Trainer. LIBERTY BLUE from Race 4 was referred to the Vet after easing into the bend and found to have deltoid and tricep muscle pain with a 10 day stand down recommended. However, he was found to be in breach of Rule 55.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. GOLDSTAR HOLLY in Race 5 was referred to the vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure after easing going into the first turn and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

RAINING SIXES (5) - In contact into the bend and lost momentum briefly. MISS WIGGLE (7) - awkwardly placed into the bend and lost momentum for a short distance. BIGTIME BART (8) - bumped and forced a little wide into the bend and stayed well back. THAT'S FRANK (9/1) - slow away from the boxes and settled back and stayed there throughout. Found to have semitendinous muscle pain and stood down for 10 days.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 FINAL - C0f - 305	BIGTIME JASMINE (2) - in contact towards the home straight and was off balance and shifted wide. ELLO TREACLE (3) - jostled and unbalanced going to the first turn and lost momentum for a short distance. CLOVER SCOTT (5) - jostled between runners after the start and was inconvenienced but recovered to finish in 2nd place. OUTA SIMS (6) - in contact going towards the home straight and was forced wide and unbalanced and finished last.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	HERE'S HEMI (1) - was in contact going to first turn and lost ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME ASHII (3) - in contact going to the first turn and was checked and stayed back to finish last. ZARA JINX (5) - was checked from behind going into the first bend and lost momentum for a short distance. LADY JELLYBEAN (6) - slow to begin and settled at the rear but ran on to finish in 3rd place. GRUNTY MAMA (8) - checked off heels going into the first bend and was hampered and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C0 - C0 - 305	VIKING ASH (2) - slow to begin and was in contact briefly and lost momentum but made up ground for 3rd place. PURPLE CIRCLE (6) - was hampered when the start was made and lost ground. SEDGEBROOK PRIDE (7) - shifted in from the start and crowded another runner which was inconvenienced. In contact into the bend and hampered. LIBERTY BLUE (9/3) - eased going into first turn losing several lengths. Was referred to the Vet and found to have deltoid and tricep pain. However, was found to have failed to pursue the lure and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. FLYING HUEY (10/1) - was slow from the start and lost ground. In contact into first turn and inconvenienced for a short distance.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE MUZZA (2) - galloped on heels into first turn and lost ground. Raced very wide in the back straight and finished last. SPOT ON HEARTY (3) - in contact going to back straight and lost momentum briefly. QUEEN BIG LEAGUE (4) - bumped going to back straight and lost ground and stayed back. OPAWA MINE (7) - in contact into first bend and was unbalanced and lost momentum. BIGTIME LEEROY (8) - in contact into first bend and was inconvenienced and lost ground. GOLDSTAR HOLLY (9/5) - shared lead to first turn but eased going back through the field and was galloped on. Referred to the Vet and cleared but was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 6	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	CRACKLE (3) - went off stride into the bend and shifted out to run wide and finished several lengths last. Referred to Vet and found to have gracilis and psoas muscle pain and was stood down for 28 days. OUR TYSON (4) - began awkwardly and settled back where he stayed throughout. HURRICANE AL (6) - clipped from behind after the start and lost momentum and stayed back to finish in rear group. CAWBOURNE BETTSY (9/7) - slow to begin and then checked off heels. Checked over heels into bend losing further ground and finished well back.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	MISCHIEF VIKING (5) - raced wide down the back straight over extra ground and finished in the rear group. GO RING (7) - slow to begin and stayed back at the rear throughout to finish last.
Race 8	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	MINI MANSION (1) - in contact after the start and momentarily inconvenienced but recovered to finish in 3rd place. CAWBOURNE LOOKS (3) - bumped after the start and shifted out to race wide and stayed well back for the remainder. FOUR TWENTY (4) - very slow away from the boxes losing 4 lengths and stayed back throughout to finish last. WHIPPY BALE (5) - bumped and inconvenienced early in the race but recovered quickly. ALAMEIN PANDA (6) - led into the bend but raced wide over extra ground and finished very wide out on the track.
Race 9	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 305	UNO ELEVEN (3) - was in contact into the bend and lost momentum for a short distance. PRINCESS PEA (5) - checked into the bend and lost ground and stayed well back for the remainder. JUDGE ME JACKIE (6) - shifted out after the start and momentarily hampered another runner. JUSTA GIFT (7) - momentarily hampered after the start but recovered quickly to go on and finished in 2nd place. LUKE SKYWALKER (8) - in contact with another runner into the bend and was inconvenienced briefly. Forced over extra ground on the bend. NDORA (9/2) - shifted out on the bend and forced another runner wide on the track.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	IDOL LITTLE GIRL (2) - checked into the first turn and lost momentum and stayed well back. FLYING DEWY (5) - bumped and lost momentum into the first bend. COSSIE COOPER (6) - was inconvenienced going into the first bend but recovered and finished 4th. GO SHOW (7) - was slow away from the start and stayed back throughout. BIGTIME MONTY (8) - bumped and inconvenienced into the first bend but recovered to finish in 2nd place.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	MITCHAM MOODY (1) - checked at the start and lost ground. checked again into the bend and stayed well back to finish 7th. SKITZER (2) - jumped in from the start and caused a check. CAPTAIN KATE (3) - galloped on into the bend and lost ground and stayed back LEGER'S MAGIC (6) - checked off the back of another runner into the bend losing several lengths and stayed back to finish last. INDY'S BOY (7) - checked over heels into the bend and lost momentum but ran on for 4th place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 520	LUCKY JAMES (2) - checked going into the back straight losing two lengths but recovered to run on for 3rd place. FLYING LACHIE (3) - was checked going into the final bend and lost ground and he finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE BEE (5) - forced wide into the first bend and continued to race wide down the back straight over extra ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME ALLGOOD (8) - raced wide into the first bend covering extra ground.
Race 13	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	SPIRIT OF NATHAN (2) - shifted ground from the start and contributed to tightening and a check to another runner. Checked going to the first turn and settled back and stayed there. HOMEBUSH KAZZY (3) - tightened between runners from the start and settled at the rear and stayed back throughout the race. WATCH YOUR BACK (4) - shifted ground from the start and contributed to tightening to another runner. Jostled with another runner going to the first turn. BIGTIME BOY (6) - awkwardly positioned on the bend behind other runners and lost momentum for a short distance.
Race 14	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	EPIC SPARK (3) - tightened between runners after the start and settled well back and stayed there. BIGTIME ON TRACK (4) - tightened between runners after the start and lost ground but ran on well to finish in 2nd place LUCHA (5) - raced a little wide on the bend but made up ground for 5th place. HOMEBUSH DEMI (7) - settled at the rear from the start and she never improved and finished 7th.
Race 15	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES HERE IN DECEMBER C2 - C2 - 305	ALAMEIN TIGER (1) - raced very wide into and down the home straight and finished 4th. CAWBOURNE OWEN (3) - Crowded after the start and settled back but made up ground well to finish 3rd. BIGTIME WINNIE (5) - checked after the start and again into the bend and stayed back to finish 2nd last. HOMEBUSH BAILEY (7) - checked into the bend and almost fell and he stayed back to finish last. BIGTIME CHAMP (9/8) - checked into the bend and stayed back for the remainder to finish 6th.
