Track: Dead The track was rain affected early but improved during the course of the day. Apart from the issue with the lure following Race 1 all equipment operated satisfactorily.

Judicial report: PUKEKOHE SMURF (race 1 #10) late scratching under Rule 44.20 at 10.55am at kenneling with a 14 day stand down imposed. The meeting was put back one race following the running of Race 1 due to an issue with the lure that required attention. Handler D Ray was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 47.2 for failing to catch #6 ICE MAIDEN in Race 10 as arranged. WEE MEREDITH (Race 12 #2) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 (b) & (c) for failing to pursue and will be required to trial satisfactorily before resuming.

Race 2	GRNZ Awards & Conference 13/10 Sprint - C2 - 375	JETSUN SINGER (1) - contacted and tightened down onto rail entering turn. Referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. CRACKLE (3) - bumped and lost ground rounding turn. BIGTIME SOPHIE (5) - bumped and lost ground rounding turn. WAS JUST SAYING (7) - raced in restricted room later stages of run home. KING SHAQ (8) - slow to begin. NANGAR MAGIC (9/2) - contact entering turn.
Race 3	Box 1 Gold Series Final - C0f - 375	TUFF TREASURE (2) - checked after start losing ground. Badly checked entering turn losing its chance. Referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. TUFF'S MY MUM (3) - crowded and shifted in after the start checking inside runner. Tightened and shifted out across hindquarters rounding turn making solid contact with another runner and lost considerable ground. Referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. JELLYBEAN JUNKIE (9/6) - slow to begin. TYPICAL (10/4) - shifted in after start crowding inside runner. Shifted in entering turn crowding inside runner.
Race 4	Happy Birthday Jason Cleaver - C1 - 375	AGISTRI (2) - hampered after start. Ran wide run home. TILLY'S SILLY (3) - shifted in after start. BILLY BULLET (5) - went up with the lids and was slow to begin losing considerable ground. Hampered entering turn. BEAR CLAWS (6) - bumped after start. ELECTRIC DEE EYE (7) - bumped after start.
