Track: The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: WHIPPY BALE and MONSTER FISH both completed satisfactory trials which were required under the Rules and will be free to race on the completion of their original stand down periods.
Trainer M Roberts sought a review of a decision handed down by the Stewards against CAWBOURNE LIZ ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence from race 4 at Palmerston North Greyhound meeting on the 18-6-2018 and the JCA dismissed the review and the Stewards decision to stand CAWBOURNE LIZ down stands. CAWBOURNE PALMER completed a Solo trial for the Amazing Chase and recorded a time of 30.23. He was a post trial swab. BIGTIME SERENA in Race 5 was up in weight by 1.6 kilograms and this was intentional. QUISTIS BALE was a late scratching from Race 10 with a nail bed injury.

DON'T KNOCKA GEE (9/4) - Crowded after the start and settled back but made up ground for 4th place. BIGTIME LOGAN (10/3) - Crowded after the start and settled back where he stayed.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	BIGTIME SANDY (4) - Shifted out abruptly going into the first bend and raced wide over extra ground for the remainder. OPAWA MINE (5) - Slow to begin and settled back but made up ground for 4th place. FARE DODGER (6) - Was slow from the boxes and settled back and stayed there throughout the remainder.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	IDOL HOT (2) - Slow away from the start but made up ground well for 4th place. KIRKHAM JASPER (3) - Shifted out into the bend and was in contact and was checked and stayed back at the rear. Was referred to the Vet. SMASH CHARGER (5) - Slow from the start and settled back and was then checked into the bend and stayed back to finish 7th. SCOOTER'S ROSE (6) - Slow away and settled back and was checked into the bend and stayed well back for the remainder. SIR DUGGIE (7) - Was hampered into the home turn and lost ground.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2d - C2d - 645	MIJA SYDNEY (4) - Was in contact after the start and got back where he stayed throughout. TRANQUIL BLOSSOM (5) - Was awkwardly positioned after the start and lost ground. ARGUS FILCH (6) - Was in contact after the start and settled back but made up ground to finish in 3rd place. MISTER EBBY (8) - Raced wide on the first turn over extra ground.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 Ht1 - C3q - 305 Heat 1	BLACKJACK MAN (1) - Raced wide on the bend and into the straight but kept up a strong gallop to finish 2nd. BIGTIME TWINKLE (2) - Was slow away from the boxes and stayed well back. BIGTIME STEVE (3) - Slow to begin and was then bumped and inconvenienced going into the first turn BIGTIME BEV (5) - Raced very wide into the straight and finished in last place. BIGTIME SERENA (6) - Slow away from the boxes and settled back. Bumped into the bend and was hampered for a short distance. BIGTIME CONRAD (8) - Raced a little wide on the bend and into the straight but still won the race.
Race 6	J P PRINT PETONE C3 Ht2 - C3q - 305 Heat 2	CAWBOURNE BRANDY (2) - Was slow to begin. Was in contact going to the first turn and lost ground. Raced wide on the bend and into the straight and stayed well back. CLOVER VICTORIA (3) - Was in contact going to the first turn and was then forced wide for a short distance losing ground and stayed back at the rear.
Race 7	AON CPF C3 Ht3 - C3q - 305 Heat 3	AMERICANO (1) - Shifted out into the bend and raced wide over extra ground. BIGTIME GEORGE (8) - Was slow to begin and settled back and then raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	CHIP OFF BLOCK (3) - Galloped on going into the final bend and dragged down behind and she lost three lengths and all chance. BIGTIME FORECAST (4) - Tightened going into the first turn and was shuffled back to last and stayed well back. BIGTIME MONTY (5) - Blundered in his initial stride from the boxes and settled at the rear. Galloped on another runner into final bend and was inconvenienced. JINJA LOREN (6) - Was checked when unable to avoid an incident ahead into the last bend and lost three lengths.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C4 FINAL - C4f - 305	BUTTERBALL (1) - Began awkwardly losing ground and stayed well back. KIRKHAM COBY (4) - Raced wide on the bend and into the straight and covered extra ground. BIGTIME VICTORY (5) - Shifted out from the start and contributed to tightening and checks to other runners. HYPOCRITICAL (6) - Tightened and checked from the start. Checked again going to first turn but recovered to finish 3rd. THREE AMIGOS (7) - Tightened from the start and again going to first turn and stayed well back for the remainder. FEEL THE FORCE (8) - Shifted in from the start and contributed to tightening. Shifted in going to first turn and caused checks to herself and other runners.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME TEARS (4) - Crowded after the start and went back to last. Did make up some ground for 5th place. BIGTIME JASON (6) - Dictated in after the start and crowded losing ground. Shifted out going into first turn and raced wide and stayed back for the remainder. BIGTIME PADDY (7) - Shifted in across the field after the start and caused checks to other runners. ASK KING JEFF (8) - Forced wide into the first bend over extra ground and stayed well back.
Race 11	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 305	MARK BE GOOD (1) - Was slow to leave the boxes and stayed back at the rear throughout. BIGTIME CHARLIE (2) - Was jostled and unbalanced over the final few strides but held his place to finish 2nd. NGAKAWAU (3) - Lay in over the final few strides and was in contact. BREED APART (5) - Began awkwardly losing momentum and then raced wide on the bend and finished well back. PLAN STAN (7) - Was hampered when in contact into the bend and lost momentum briefly. ALAMEIN LADY (8) - Shifted in going into the bend and was in contact and briefly unbalanced.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	NIPPA EEL (2) - Was slow to begin and was then in contact going to corner but recovered to finish into 4th place. JUST LIKE MA (3) - Shifted out going to the first turn and was in contact and became unbalanced and stayed well back. BIGTIME CHLOE (4) - In contact into the bend and stayed well back to finish 2nd last. CULVIE DEN (6) - Was bumped from inside going to the first corner and was briefly unbalanced. LIGHTNING LU (8) - Raced in a handy position until into the home straight but then tired slightly and finished in 6th place.
