CATHY MAREE (5) - Raced in tight quarters on bend losing momentum. RAND (6) - Ran inwards on bend contacting inside runner and losing ground. Checked as inside runner angled outwards home turn. Race 4	Power Farming Canterbury Sprint - C2 - 295	EYREWELL TANGO (1) - Checked by outside runners early stages. MERTZ (2) - Checked by outside runners early stages. Badly hampered in incident into bend losing ground. Ran outwards contacting outside runner early in run home. Referred to vet and found to have a hip injury with a 30 day stand down imposed. LISA'S BOY (3) - Checked by outside runner early stages. Badly checked in incident into bend losing chance. Checked by inside runner home turn. Referred to vet and cleared of injury. ELORA (4) - Ran inwards early stages checking inside runners. Badly dragged down and fell into bend. Referred to vet and found to have general soreness. Trainer R Blackburn advised that ELORA would now be retired from racing. CULVIE JAY DEE (6) - Dragged down for a stride into bend losing momentum. Came together with inside runner on bend and badly unbalanced losing ground. CHIPPY JORDY (8) - Ran inwards losing ground into bend after dragging runner down causing it to fall. Race 5	Glenbyre Tavern Stakes - C2 - 520	Stewards withheld confirmation of placings after the lure was observed to be closer than normal to the leading dog around the first bend. After watching all angles of the race it was determined that no runner appeared to be substantially inconvenienced as per Rule 51.1 and payment of dividends was authorised. KNOW POTENTIAL (1) - Ran wide back straight. COSMIC STU (3) - Tightened in run to first bend and then ran outwards. BOSTON BILLY (5) - Checked by outside runner early stages losing ground. DYNA VERNON (6) - Checked by outside runner early stages losing ground. Ran outwards first bend. LITTLE KRAKATOA (7) - Ran inwards at start checking inside runner. Badly tightened home straight and dropped to rear. Referred to vet and cleared of injury.
