AVEDON FILM (2) - bumped early. Checked out off heels entering turn. ROWDY RUBY (4) - hampered shortly after start. Forced wide entering turn. CAWBOURNE OWEN (5) - hampered early. BIGTIME STEVE (6) - slow to begin.
Race 2	M&M Master Butchers C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	The start of this event was deferred by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. APRICITY (5) - shifted out early carrying outside runners wider. Shifted out and jostled entering turn. Checked rounding turn when at the rear losing several lengths. Ran wide home turn. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (6) - slow to begin. CAWBOURNE RIDGE (7) - carried wider early. Jostled entering turn. ARGUS FILCH (8) - slow to begin. Carried wide early.
Race 3	Graeme Hayden Holmes Memorial Final - C1f - 457	BRADAM BEGINS (2) - slow to begin. Lost contact with field approaching the turn and trailed the field. Referred to Vet - found to have injured the right Latissimus Dorsi muscle with a 7 day stand down imposed. BIGTIME WENDLE (3) - bumped shortly after start. ALL ABOUT SPACE (4) - bumped after start. THRILLING RORY (6) - slow to begin.
Race 4	Silver Star Trophy C5 - C5 - 457	ME JANE (2) - crowded and lost ground entering turn. Checked out off heels rounding turn losing further ground. COSMIC ODETTE (3) - slow to begin. Hampered entering turn. BIGTIME OTTLEY (4) - slow to begin. BIGTIME RISE (5) - hampered entering turn. BIGTIME EVIE (6) - tired late in run home. Referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. RAPPER TILLY (10/7) - checked entering turn losing considerable ground.
Race 5	Group 2 Palmerston North Gold Cup Final - C5f - 457	FUSION CRONULLA (2) - checked entering turn. SPARE SOME TIME (3) - checked entering turn. ARDEN EMGRAND (4) - shifted in entering turn checking inside runners. NATURE'S GENT (7) - slow to begin. Checked entering turn. CAWBOURNE PALMER (8) - slow to begin. Faltered rounding turn when at the rear. Referred to Vet - found to have minor abrasions on dorsal aspect of distal forelegs which was probably as a result of trying dislodge the muzzle which has shifted during the running.
