Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CAPTAIN KATE completed a box trial and is now cleared to race. Due to a misunderstanding, there was no catcher for SECRET AGENDA in Race 4 and after hearing of the circumstances which resulted in no catcher, the Stewards elected not to proceed with a charge on this occasion. BIGTIME IVO in Race 1 was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55..1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is also required to complete a satisfactory trial before next starting in a race. NIPPA A SPOT was a late scratching from race 15 when the dog slipped its collar and ran some distance around the track and attacked the lure thus gaining an unfair advantage on the other greyhounds. This incident took place some time prior to Race 15 but nevertheless, the Stewards took into account the unfair advantage and also the welfare of the dog.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME DEAN (2) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed well back throughout. CLASSY BAXTER (3) - Was tightened between runners into the bend and was checked back to near the rear and stayed back. Looked awkward in his action and was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. TUNA SPEED (5) - Was unbalanced in the home straight when laid on by another runner but held on to win. BIGTIME IVO (6) - Lay in down the home straight and attempted to marr another runner for some distance. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a deltoid injury with a 7 day stand down. However, BIGTIME IVO was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520	COCKNEY RIP OFF (1) - Was bumped and raced wide into the first bend and she continued to race a little wide covering extra ground. BIGTIME NIBBLES (6) - Was the slowest to begin losing five lengths and he stayed back throughout.
Race 3	WANGANUI TOYOTA C2 - C2 - 305	AUDACIOUS ASSIN (4) - Was crowded and lost momentum briefly after the start but recovered to run on well and win. JUST LIKE MA (5) - Just tightened after the start and lost momentum and she stayed back and finished last. CAWBOURNE SYMSY (8) - Went up with the lids losing several lengths but made up ground well to finish 3rd.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520	IDOL JAZZ (3) - Was the slowest to begin and settled back but made up ground well to finish 2nd. PIKO PIKO (4) - Was checked back to last going into the first bend and he stayed there for the remainder.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305	CAWBOURNE SKID (3) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed at the rear throughout the race. SWIFT LIBERTY (8) - Raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished well back in 6th place.
Race 6	HATRICK STAKES C1 - C1 - 520	WHITE COMET (4) - Was bumped and unbalanced into the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. TOKI GIRL (8) - was slow away from the boxes and settled in last place. Was bumped and forced a little wide into the first bend and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	MAGNETUDE EIGHT (2) - Jostled going into the bend and lost momentum and stayed back. IDOL PATCHES (3) - Slow to begin and settled back and continued to lose ground finishing a long last. Was referred to the Vet and found to be sick with rapid respiration and was transferred to the Vet clinic. HOMEBUSH FLUTEY (4) - Was jostled going into the bend and lost ground and stayed well back. DERMOTT BROWN (5) - Was also jostled into the first turn and lost momentum briefly.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	IDOL ALAN (2) - Was bumped going into the bend and lost momentum briefly. SMASH FIRE (4) - Began a little awkwardly and was then bumped. Was in contact and unbalanced going into the bend and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 10	AON CPF C1 HT3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	CELESTIAL ACTION (5) - Was crowded after the start and settled back where she stayed. JUDGE ME JACKIE (6) - Checked and lost ground into the bend. BIGTIME CHLOE (7) - Shifted in after the start and caused crowding and checks to other runners. ROCKET JEWEL (10/3) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back at the rear throughout.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	MAGIC JEAN LASS (1) - Was crowded going into the bend and jostled for several strides and finished in last place. YELLA ELLA (3) - was in contact into the bend and jostled losing ground. OPAWA TIGGER (5) - Was in contact and jostled into the bend and the contact continued for several strides.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 Ht5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	BIGTIME OLIVIA (4) - Was very slow away from the boxes losing several lengths and all chance and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	ROKETTO (1) - Was awkwardly positioned in restricted room going to the first corner and was jostled and checked back to the rear and never recovered. ACE STAR (2) - Was also in restricted room into the first corner and was checked back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. CAWBOURNE LOOKS (3) - Began awkwardly and settled back but made up ground for 4th place.
Race 14	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 Ht7 - C1q - 305 Heat 7	SMASH CHARGER (2) - Jostled and unbalanced going to first turn and lost momentum. CAWBOURNE CHEZZY (3) - Jostled and lost ground going into the bend and was again in contact and unbalanced on the bend. FORKNER BALE (6) - Was in contact on the bend and lost momentum and was referred to the Vet and found to have gracilis muscle pain. CAWBOURNE JOHNO (9/4) - Was checked on the bend and stayed back to finish last and was referred to the Vet and found to have a split webbing.
Race 15	HATRICK DASH C1 Ht8 - C1q - 305 Heat 8	AZANDEI (4) - Was in contact and lost ground into the bend and stayed back to finish to finish last. KIWI BAXTER (9/6) - Was in contact into the bend and lost momentum and stayed back for the remainder.
