Judicial report: (1) The trainer of WATTA GUNN in Race 10 R.Adcock was fined $50 under the Minor Infringement Table under Rule 44.8(b) for failing to produce the registration papers for the greyhound. (2) JINJA SPIRIT (JT McInerney) was required to complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 55.5 after sustaining a serious injury in Race 2.

Became unbalanced and lost momentum when checking outwards and bumping runner to outside on turn. COSMIC RUBEN (5) - shifted outwards into turn checking runner to outside. RIB CURLER (6) - checked into turn and then bumped with runner to inside on turn losing ground. HOMEBUSH KAZZY (7) - ran inwards in run to the turn checking runner to inside.
Race 2	OGRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	JINJA SPIRIT (1) - checked into the turn losing momentum. Short of the line in the straight shifted ground inwards and turned head in. A post race veterinary check showed soreness to the shoulder area and a further check after the greyhound had cooled down revealed a very sore and swollen shoulder with a 21 day stand down recommended. Stewards deemed the performance of the greyhound to be unsatisfactory and required the greyhound under Rule 55.5 to complete a Satisfactory Trial before being eligible to compete again. MAGIC WILMA (3) - bumped and checked into the turn. KOPUTAI (4) - shifted abruptly outwards at the jump severely checking runners to outside. TARTAN WATCH (5) - severely tightened and checked at the jump, briefly stumbling and losing all chance. HOMEBUSH TASHA 6) - severely checked at the jump losing momentum. Shifted inwards on turn into straight checking trailing runner. COSMIC RYDER (7) - ran inwards from the jump tightening runners to inside. Checked into turn. MOUNGA (8) - ran inwards into turn bumping runner to inside.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 545	AWESOME ANNIE (6) - ran wide throughout covering extra ground.
Race 4	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C1 - 545	SACRED OPERA (3) - ran outwards from the jump checking runner to outside. HERITAGE WATCH (4) - checked at the jump and tightened runner to outside. DARLEK IAN (5) - tightened at the jump and lost momentum. Ran outwards on first turn checking runner to outside. LUCIASTAR (7) - checked on first turn. Struck rear of another runner at end of back straight losing ground. BOUNCER MILOS (8) - checked at end of back straight losing ground.
Race 5	All Fencing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310	SOUTHER AFFAIR (R Hamilton) weighed in 2kg over her last race start weight which was on 9 November 2017. OHOKA TESS (4) - checked on turn. CHIEF DOUG (5) - checked shortly after the jump and held up on turn. LEO'S SON (6) - ran inwards shortly after the jump tightening runner to inside. Checked outwards off heels on turn, becoming unbalanced, losing ground and checking trailing runner.
Race 6	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C2 - 310	SOZIN'S EMPEROR (4) - severely checked in run to the turn losing ground. MERTZ (6) - checked at jump and again in run to the turn. Pushed outwards into straight checking runner to outside. DEBBIE BAXTER (7) - checked at the jump and again into straight. UNVERIFIED (8) - ran inwards at jump checking runners to inside. Again shifted inwards in run to the turn checking inside runners.
Race 7	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C2 - 545	DRAXLER (5) - slow to jump then tightened between runners losing ground. Bumped and lost momentum into first turn. KNOW ANSWER (7) - checked between runners into first turn then ran outwards bumping runner to outside.
Race 8	Mornington Veterinary Centre Stakes - C3/4 - 545	ZIPPING JEN (3) - checked as field tightened into turn losing ground. KNOW HASSLE (4) - slow to jump. OPAWA CHEVIOT (6) - ran wide in straights losing ground.
Race 9	Green Island Barber Sprint - C3 - 310	JUSTIN RYAN (1) - ran outwards in run to the turn checking dog to outside. HOMEBUSH AUSTIN (3) - checked in run to the turn. OPAWA JUMPER (6) - pushed outwards into turn checking another runner. AUSSIE HOON (7) - checked into turn. Ran outwards into straight checking runner on outer. A post race veterinary checked revealed split webbing with a 14 day stand down recommended. OHOKA ALEX (8) - slow to jump. Checked into straight.

JUNK MAIL (6) - shifted outwards at jump checking runner to outside, WATTA GUNN (7) - checked at the jump. Clipped heels on turn running wide and losing ground. KNOW SCRUTINY (8) - heels clipped on turn losing ground.
Race 11	NZ Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRSf - 545	OPAWA ROOSTER (5) - shifted outwards off heels on first turn checking runners to outside. TREVOR GIBBS (7) - checked on first turn. DREAM KAY (8) - checked on first turn.
Race 12	Keyosk Service Bar Dash - C5 - 310	PRINCELY GOLD (3) - checked on turn losing ground. HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) - shifted outwards on turn checking trailing runner.
Race 13	Racing Again Thursday 8th March - C1 - 310	KNOW DOLLARS (2) - tightened in run to the turn then struck running rail and fell. Regained feet to finish long last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
