Track: Good .With very hot overhead conditions during the day and in the days preceding, the track required extensive watering in the day preceding the meeting and during the course of the day. A careful watch was kept on conditions to ensure a safe racing surface.

Race 1	OGRC Welcome Sprint - C0 - 310	LITTLE KRAKATOA (2) - shifted outwards into the turn checking runner to outside. FOUR TWENTY (4) - slow to jump losing ground early. SIERRA DELTA (5) - checked into turn, briefly stumbling and losing ground. COSMIC JAMIE (7) - checked on turn when bumped from behind, becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. GOLDSTAR DIESEL (8) - shifted ground outwards on turn checking another runner.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	Race start time was brought forward one minute at the request of Raceday Control. HOMEBUSH TASHA (JT McInerney) was 1.8kg up in weight with the greyhound having her first start since October. CASSIA (3) - checked by falling runner into the turn, running wide and losing ground. HOMEBUSH TASHA (4) - tightened into the turn then fell when clipping heels, losing all chance to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. DOVE LOVE (6) - crossed over into the turn with heels clipped losing momentum. Checked by falling runner into the turn, running wide and losing ground. MELTING WORLD (7) -checked at the jump. COSMIC JASE (8) - ran inwards from the jump checking runner to inside.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C0 - 545	GO SHOW (1) - shifted outwards into first turn checking trailing runner. Checked at the end of the back straight. LUCKY BLAIR (2) - checked into first turn. Shifted inwards at end of back straight tightening runners to inside and losing ground. DYNA DAVE (5) - tightened and checked at the end of the back straight. LUCKY MICK (6) - bumped and checked on first turn. KNOW EQUAL (9/3) - slow to jump. Shifted outwards on first turn checking trailing runner.
Race 4	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310	NICKY BAXTER (1) - brushed running rail and faltered on turn going backwards and checking trailing runner. A post race veterinary check revealed a sore right shoulder with a seven day stand down recommended. MERTZ (3) - ran outwards in the run to the turn checking runners to outside. SOZIN'S ANGEL (4) - checked in run to the turn and again on turn. TRICKY ACTION (5) - checked in run to the turn, shifting outwards and checking trailing runner. HOMEBUSH SCRIBE (6) - checked in run to the turn. DEBBIE BAXTER (8) - tightened between runners in straight losing ground.
Race 5	All Fencing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310	LONELY BAXTER (4) - shifted outwards into turn checking trailing runners. OPAWA POPPY (6) - shifted outwards from the jump checking runner to outside. Checked and pushed wide into turn. MITCHAM READO (7) - checked at the jump. Checked into turn and dictated wide. KNOW SWEAT (9/5) - checked into turn and ran wide losing ground.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Novice Final - NZRSf - 545	KNOW LEAVE (1) - slow to jump. KNOW CONCLUSION (4) - tightened between runners into first turn losing momentum. CLASSY WITCH (6) - slow to jump. OPAWA PURDIE (8) - slow to jump. Ran outwards off heels into first turn running wide.
Race 7	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545	GO ALL LIN (2) - shifted ground outwards in run to the turn checking runners to outside. KNOW POTENTIAL (3) - slow to jump losing ground early. RAYLENE (4) - checked in run to the turn. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (6) - checked in run to the turn. ALLEN MACK (7) - tightened betwen runners in run to the turn losing momentum.
Race 8	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C3 - 310	FLAMING SAMBUCA (2) - shifted outwards in run to the turn checking runner to outside. ZUGZWANG (3) - checked in run to the turn. OHOKA ALEX (6) - checked at the jump. STORMING MACK (7) - shifted inwards at the jump tightening runner to inside. THINK TANK (10/5) - ran wide on turn and into straight.
Race 9	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C4 - 310	The trainer of PUMA PANTS (JT McInerney) advised that he would be reviewing the racing future of this greyhound in coming weeks. JUSTIN RYAN (1) - slow to jump. KOPUTARA (2) - shifted outwards into turn tightening trailing runner. BOTANY COLD (3) - tightened into turn losing momentum. ZIPPING CLYDE (6) - slow to jump. Clipped heels and shifted wide into turn losing ground. AMINO TROUBLE (7) - heels clipped into turn losing momentum.
Race 10	John Mills Memorial Sprint - C4/5 - 310	No racing incidents to report.
Race 11	Mornington Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1/2 - 545	SOUTHERN HONEY (8) - ran wide in straights.
Race 12	Colin Keen Memorial (Group 2) Final - C5f - 545	OPAWA TIMO (2) - checked soon after the jump. Checked outwards off heels on first turn checking outside runners. CACTUS JACK (3) - checked soon after the jump and again on first turn with resulting checks to trailing runners.. JUNK MAIL (6) - checked on first turn. SOUTHERN LIGHTS (7) - checked on first turn, becoming unbalanced and turned sideways and in turn checking trailing runner. HELSKI BALE (8) - severely checked on fisrt turn losing all chance. NOZZNO FEAR (9/4) - shifted inwards from the jump checking runners to inside. With insufficient licensed persons on course Stewards gave permission for one handler to catch two dogs with the proviso that no greyhounds were to be loose on the track and must be under proper control.
Race 13	Green Island Barber Sprint - C1 - 310	AVALANCH CITY (3) - pulled up sharply after the race and was subject to a veterinary check which showed cramping with no stand down recomended. KNOW PANIC (2) - slow to jump. In the run to the turn pushed inwards and struck the running rail losing momentum. A post race veternary check revealed no injury. HOMEBUSH IVANA (5) - shifted inwrads in run to the turn checking runner to inside.
Race 14	Otago Daily Times Sprint - C1 - 310	AUROS ADVANTAGE (S&B Evans) was a late scratching on veterinary advice when found to be lame on being taken from the kennels pre race. OHOKA TESS (3) - checked into the turn. AMY BAXTER (9/2) - shifted inwards into the turn checking runner to inside.
Race 15	Racing Again Tuesday 13th February - C1 - 310	HOMEBUSH HUNDY (1) - slow to jump. Checked into the turn. SENORITA JULIE (3) - tightened into the turn with a resulting check to trailing runner. LEO'S SON (5) - checked at the jump. STORMY SUNDAY (6) - checked at the jump. UNVERIFIED (7) - shifted inwards at the jump checking runners to inside. Ran inwards into turn tightening runners to inside.
