Track: Good Track was well presented and maintained throughout the meeting ( refer judicial ) All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: LOCO AMIGO ( S & C Blackburn ) no 5 race 1 was Late Scratched out of the parade ring due to the Trainer not wanting to present the dog to race which had been vetted clear to race by the Race day Vet and has been been stood down for 28 days under rule ( 40.7 )and has committed a breach of rule ( 40.3 )
A reserve dog was denied a start by this action.
An inquiry had been opened and adjourned in to the circumstances of the reasons for the Late scratching.
Due to persistent rain throughout the programe after race 7 the Stewards did a full Track inspection where concerns were for a small area on the inside approx. halfway down the home straight where there was some surface water present.
There was surface water due to the drains being unable to filter it all away .
The Track staff did the best that could be achieved in this area and after further inspection the track was deemed safe to carry on racing and there were no issues.
Track was downgraded to dead for the last 3 races.

SCHIEHALLION ( 4 ) - raced towards the rear throughout was referred to the vet and was found to be lame on the near hind a 14 day stand down was recommended. LOCO AMIGO ( 5 ) - Late scratching pre race after being vetted clear to start. JELANI ( 7 ) - went up with the lids missing the start by a margin losing all chance.
Race 2	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	CHAOS THEORY ( 4 ) - began awkwardly was unable to get in to contention there after. BIGTIME BEV ( 6 ) - fav- raced wide around the bend in to and down the home straight.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 520	BIGTIME BRUCIE ( 3 ) - dwelt and was slowest away settled in the rear improved along the inner across the top bend finishing in to 4th placing at the line. CAWBOURNE STEELE ( 5 ) -tightened and jostled for a couple of strides racing in to the first bend. CAWBOURNE TODDY ( 7 ) - angled across tightening and jostling with runner on his inner for a couple of strides racing in to the first bend.
Race 4	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C5 - C5 - 305	BEAT THE BUTCHER ( 3 ) - raced wide in to and around the bend. BEAR INDA SQUARE ( 4 ) - jostled and checked racing in to the bend losing a length or so BIGTIME SHAKER ( 6 ) - angled across on to the shoulder of BEAR INDA SQUARE for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. OPAWA CRYSTAL ( 7 ) - forced to race widest in to the bend RAIN AND TEARS ( 8 ) - held up for a couple of strides when angling in across heels racing in to the bend.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	JUST LIKE MA ( 2 ) - came together briefly with runner on her outer in the run to the bend. LORI ELLE ( 3 ) - came together briefly with runner on her inner in the run to the bend. EAMON ( 5 ) - began very awkwardly and was last in to stride by 7 or so lengths caught the tail of the field in the run to the line. SEDGEBROOK ANGEL ( 8 ) raced widest in to and across the top bend.
Race 6	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	GULLY FLAHERTY ( 1 ) -jostled and bumped with runner on her outer for several strides racing in to the bend. BIGTIME OTTEY ( 2 ) fav--tightened and jostled for a couple of strides in the run to the bend. WHO'S JOHN GALT ( 4 ) - checked back from between runners soon after the start. UNCONSCIONABLE ( 5 ) -angled across soon after the start causing tightening and jostling to runners on her inner for several strides. ANOTHER FLAG ( 7 ) - jostled and bumped with runner on her inner for several strides racing in to the bend. STOLE ME CAR( 9/3 ) - checked back soon after the start from between runners improved soon after when in clear racing room.
Race 7	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	METEOR VEGE ( 1 ) - hampered when jostled for several strides and lost ground racing in to the first bend bumped with CHIP OFF THE BLOCK on the home turn. CHARLIE BO BO ( 3 ) - tightened and checked back soon after the start severely hampered when tightened and checked back from between runners racing in to the first bend losing momentum and several lengths. BIGTIME MONTY ( 5 ) - was checked racing off the mats was hampered when attempting to improve in the run in to the first bend attempting to angle inwards causing himself to be checked and tightening runners on his inner for some strides CHIP OFF BLOCK ( 8 ) - forced to race widest in to the first bend and bumped with METEOR VEGE on the home turn.
Race 8	J P PRINT PETONE C2 - C2 - 305	MITSUTA ( 1 ) - crowded in to the bend making contact with the rail and dropped back several lengths and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in left triceps & left hind gracilis muscles a 7 day stand down was recommended. CELTIC ROVER ( 2 ) - checked in to bend as MITSUTA came back on to him forcing him to check out abruptly racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground. NIAM'S WAY ( 3 ) - checked out wide over heels bumping the hindquarters of ALL IN BERLIN soon after the start . GURU'S CHOICE ( 4 ) - SMASH FIRE ( 5 ) - CAWBOURNE STICK ( 7 ) - checked coming off the mats BIGTIME NARELLE ( 8 ) - ALL IN BERLIN ( 9/6 ) -
Race 9	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME POWER ( 2 ) - tightened and checked out over heels checking runner on his outer racing in to the first bend. BIGTIME MIA ( 3 ) - checked and pushed wide racing in to the first bend.
Race 10	HATRICK DASH C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME BASHER ( 2 ) - went up with the lids and was last away improved along the inner across the top bend finished on. ZOYA BALE ( 3 ) - bumped and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend. ALLEGRO LASS ( 4 ) - bumped and jostled with runner on her inner for some distance in the run to the bend. BIGTIME REDFOO ( 6 ) - held up in behind runners for several strides in the run in to the bend. HALLO STAR ( 9/5 ) - jostled and checked back off heels racing in to the bend losing momentum and several lengths.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 Ht1 - C3q - 305 Heat 1	RAPPER TILLY ( 2 ) - tightened between runners being hampered for a few strides racing in to the bend. ELECTRIC DANDY ( 5 ) - came back off heels racing in to the bend losing momentum and several lengths. BRIGHTEYE'S SOUL ( 6 ) - held up for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. ASTERIA ( 10/1) bumped racing in to the bend when racing to the lead.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 HT2 - C3q - 305 Heat 2	STOLE ME WALLET ( 1 ) - racing to the home turn STOLE ME WALLET and ZOIE WILLOW came together for some strides with both runners being hampered. UNO AGAIN ( 2 ) - missed the jump angled outwards on to for a stride or so before straightening soon after was jostled as runners came across hampering him for some strides racing in to the bend. ZOIE WILLOW ( 3 ) - fav- missed the jump then was dictated outwards running in to the hind of LET'S GO SPRITE she then changed inwards to race up handy- nearing the home turn she came together with STOLE ME WALLET for several strides and was hampered at this point. LET'S GO SPRITE ( 5 ) -angled across soon after the start resulting in ZOIE WILLOW running in to his hindquarters and soon after was tightened and jostled for some distance in the run in to the bend. WATCH YOUR BACK ( 6 ) - checked at the start forced inwards jostling and bumping with runners on the inner and lost ground in to the bend. BIGTIME SUGAR ( 7 ) - angled across soon after the start tightening several runners for some strides in the run to the bend.
