MAGIC WILMA (2) - shifted abruplty outwards into straight bumping runner to outside and losing ground. BULA ROBERTS (4) - severely checked at the jump losing momentum. BOSTON POWERS (5) - severely checked at the jump losing momentum. HANKENSTEIN (7) - ran sharply inwards from jump checking runners to inside. FOUR TWENTY (9/6) - jumped awkwardly and lost ground early.
Race 2	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 457	GOLDSTAR CHIEF (4) - shifted outwards in straight bumping and checking runner to outside. TORPEDO TUCK (6) - bumped and lost ground in straight. AUROS ADVANTAGE (7) - ran outwards at jump checking runner to outside. MR BLACK MAGIC (9/8) - checked at the jump.
Race 3	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C2 - 390	ON EDGE (4) - tightened at the jump. Checked on turn. KNOW APPROVAL (5) - ran inwards from jump tightening runner to inside. BLACK TORI (6) - checked on turn. OSKITZ (7) - checked outwards off heels on turn and checked trailing runners. KNOW LOGIC (8) - referred to the vet following the race and found to have a deep cut beside the stopper pad in the right fore medial with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	SANTAS REINDEER STAKES - C2 - 457	UMBRIDGE BALE (3) - checked at the jump. PERFECT RESULT (4) - tightened between runners at the jump. PIANISSIMO (5) - dictated inwards at jump and checked runner to inside.
Race 5	MR WHIPPY SOUTHLAND - C4 - 390	COSMIC RICHIE (5) - tightened between runners at the jump losing ground. OPAWA WAIHEMO (7) - checked shortly after the jump. THINK TANK (8) - shifted inwards from jump checking runner to inside.
Race 6	ORETI BEACH RUN - C1 - 457	DISCLAIMER (1) - checked into the turn. CHIEF DOUG (2) - ran outwards on turn bumping and checking runner to outside. SMASH CHARGER (4) - checked at the jump. Shifted inwards into turn checking trailing runner. REPLICA CASINO (5) - ran inwards at the jump tightening runner to inside. Bumped and checked on turn. In the straight REPLICA CASINO turned her head outwards and made muzzle and head contact with the runner to the outside. Stewards suspended the greyhound for marring another runner under Rule 55.1a for 28 days and required the greyhound to complete a Satisfactory Trial before being nominated to race.
Race 7	www.bodyaudit.co.nz - C1 - 457	CRYSTAL FLAME (M.Grant) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season on kenneling. No racing incidents to report.
Race 8	[email protected] ph 021657001 - C1/2d - 630	RUNWAY BONO (5) and KNOW WORTH (8) - both ran wide throughout the race covering extra ground.
Race 9	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C5 - 457	CACTUS JACK (1) - shifted inwards into turn tightening runners to inside. SOUTHERN LIGHTS (4) - bumped in run to the turn losing momentum, then checked into turn. EPIC DREAM (5) - bumped in run to the turn losing momentum, then checked into turn.
Race 10	THE GREEN CHARTRUSE CHALLENGE RACES 13,14 & 15 - C3 - 457	BLACK DAN (5) - tightened between runners in run to the turn then ran wide losing ground.
Race 11	CONGRATULATIONS RUFUS - C4/5 - 390	ABRASADOR (2) - tightened and crowded into straight losing momentum. EXPRESS GUNN (4) - shifted inwards into the straight bumping runner to inside and losing ground. PUMA PANTS (5) - bumped into straight losing momentum and tightening runner to inside.
