Judicial report: MIDHURST MUSCLE and MAGNETUDE EIGHT were scratchings without penalty due to gaining starts in a final at Waikato GRC on 16.11.17.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME OLIVIA (1) - Was galloped on going into the bend and checked back to near the rear. COOL WOLF (2) - Crowded and checked back to last going to first turn. LUNCH SPECIAL (3) - Shifted in and checked another runner going to first turn. Bumped and unbalanced going into the bend but recovered to win. ROWDY RUBY (4) - Galloped on heels going into the bend and lost ground but recovered to finish 3rd. ZONIC BLUE (5) - Slow to begin and stayed back throughout. FINAL STORY (6) - Bumped and checked losing ground going into the bend and stayed well back.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	SHARK AND TAYTY (5) - Was galloped on going into the bend and lost ground. Was bumped and lost momentum briefly on the bend and stayed back for the remainder. OLOROSO (6) - Galloped on another runner going into the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and stayed back to finish last.
Race 3	METEOR OPD C0 - C0 - 305	MISCHIEF SEEKER (3) - Was jostled and inconvenienced going into the bend and lost momentum. CAWBOURNE ROB (4) - Was checked going into the bend losing ground and stayed well back. Was referred to the Vet and found to have suffered from a caudal thigh muscle injury with a stand down imposed. PRINCESS PEA (6) - Was awkwardly positioned between runners into the bend and fell but regained her feet to finish the race. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a carpus injury.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520	IDOL PATCHES (1) - Was checked entering the back straight and lost two lengths. CLASSY DELTA (4) - Was checked from behind going to the first corner and she lost ground and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder.
Race 5	JENNY AND DOUGLAS HUNT MEMORIAL C0 - C0 - 305	NO MUG (1) - Checked off heels going to the first corner and lost ground. Collided with hind quarters of another runner entering the home straight and lost ground. AHUROA PANTHER (5) - Jostled going to the first turn and then checked over the back of another runner on the bend. Checked from behind entering the home straight and dragged down. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a webbing injury. JUDGE ME JACKIE (6) - Jostled going to the first turn and inconvenienced and then checked over heels entering the home straight and lost momentum.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	OPAWA SHILOH (3) - Faded in the back straight and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet. Was found to have pain and swelling to the right hock. CAWBOUNRE BETTSY (6) - Was checked after the start and settled back but made up ground well to finish 2nd.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	OPAWA SMOKE (1) - Was crowded from the outside going to the first corner and was shuffled back to the rear and stayed well back. SECOND TIME (5) - Went off stride going to the first corner and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet. Was found to have a gracilis muscle injury. CAWBOURNE MURF (7) - Was tightened between runners going into the bend and was checked losing ground. Was then observed to be off stride and finished well back. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 520	MISCHIEF VIKING (7) - Suffered a claw injury and was referred to the Vet. The race was all clear.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	RETAIL MAYHEM (7) - Was jostled for some distance going to the first turn and eventually checked losing two lengths but recovered to finish in 4th place. PIKO PIKO CONNOR (9/2) - Was crowded going to the first turn and eventually checked and went back to last and stayed well back.
Race 10	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	OPAWA TIGGER (1) - Was crowded from outside after the start and settled back and stayed there throughout. ACE BALE (3) - Crowded after the start and got back and stayed there throughout. WORBOYS (4) - Crowded after the start and got back where he stayed. BIGTIME REDO (5) - Shifted in from the start and caused checks to other runners which lost ground. Shifted in going into the first bend and made contact with the rail and lost momentum. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	UNO BRENT (7) - Was jostled for some distance going to the first turn and was eventually checked back to the rear. WOOD HE (10/4) - Was the slowest to begin and was then checked going to the first turn losing further ground and stayed back to finish last.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK - C1 - 520	FANCY FIFITA (8) - Was bumped and checked and forced wide going into the first turn and she lost several lengths and stayed well back for the remainder to finish in last place.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	LISSADELL BABE (1) - Was crowded for some distance going to the first corner and was eventually checked back to the rear and stayed well back. BOTANY DIANNE (2) - Was crowded soon after the start and went back to the rear but did make up some ground to finish 5th. GURU'S CHOICE (3) - Lay in down the back straight and hampered other runners which both had to eventually check. JUDGES CALL (5) - Checked over heels going into the bend and shifted out to race wide and stayed back to finish last.
Race 14	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME REIGN (2) - Scrambled out of the boxes losing several lengths but recovered to make up ground for 5th place. TWO HUNGWID (8) - Raced wide throughout over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 15	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	ROKETTO (1) - bumped with another runner and jostled for some distance after the start and lost several lengths and all chance. NIC'S FAB (3) - Jostled after the start for some distance and lost momentum but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
