Judicial report: The start of Race 5 was delayed by 2 minutes due to ducks having to be cleared from the track on the home turn.
Trainer T Green was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting SUE ZOOKI (Race 3) down in weight 1.7kgs from its previous start on 22/10/17.
Handler L Hore was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice after he failed to catch JACK NO LAG (Race 5) as arranged.
Trainer G Farrell was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to arrange a catcher for EKALI (Race 7).

Race 9	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE MERL (3) - heavily contacted from behind entering turn and fell. Referred to Vet - found to have a strained right triceps with a 10 day stand down imposed. SCOTT SOME TICKA (4) - appeared uneven in gait after the event and referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. MY FRIEND MIKE (5) - slow to begin. Badly checked entering turn. GURU'S CHOICE (6) - made heavy contact with another runner entering turn and was then badly checked when that runner fell. AGISTRI (7) - badly checked entering turn. COSMIC ROVER (8) - brought down entering turn by a fallen runner. Referred to Vet - found to have a strained groin muscle with a 14 day stand down imposed.
Race 10	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C2 - 375	KAWAII (3) - crowded entering turn. INSTANT SUCCESS (4) - checked and fell entering the turn. Referred to Vet - found to be displaying paralysis due to a possible spinal injury. ZIPPING MARO (8) - slow to begin.
Race 11	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Sprint - C3 - 375	ON THE HUNT (3) - got onto the hindquarters of another runner rounding turn losing considerable ground. ZIPPING ARNOLD (4) - contacted another runner entering turn and fell. Referred to Vet - no abnormality detected. ALL HAIL CAESAR (5) - galloped on from behind rounding turn. BROTASTIC (6) - contacted entering turn. KIRKHAM COBY (8) - ran wide home turn. BOMBS FALLING (9/2) - galloped on another runner rounding turn and then badly checked when another runner got onto its hindquarters.
