Track: Good Track was presented in a very good racing condition. All other equipment operated well.

Judicial report: ZOIE WILLOW ( J Bell )- BIGTIME FORECAST ( I Howe )- WHIPPY BALE ( M Roberts )- DYNA LINUS ( M Roberts )- CRACKLE In Blinkers ) ( B Hunt ) all completed satisfactory trials and are now cleared to race.
CAWBOURNE BRANDY ( J & D Bell ) was re-presented to the vet per rule ( 56.5 ) and was found to be clear of injury with the stand down now rescinded.

Race 1 ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305 IDOL ALAN ( 1 )fav - went up with the lids PIKO PIKO DAWN ( 2 ) - from the jump ran outwards across the face of the field RETAIL MAYHEM ( 5 ) - soon after the start was pushed outwards and kept wide in to and around the bend. BARK MY WORDS ( 7 ) - stood when the lids lifted and was last away by several lengths.
Race 2 WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520 FLYING KOKO ( 1 ) - LAST MAN ALIVE ( 2 ) - MIDSOMER MAGIC ( 3 ) - WATERLOO BLUE ) 4 ) - dwelt slightly at the start checked wide over heels racing in to the first bend .dropped off the rear of the field by several lengths in the run in to the back straight improved wide out in to the far bend making good ground in to 4th placing at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found, Trainer W Kite was shown the replay and commented that being checked in to the bend- being a small dog doesn't help, also the dog did make ground in to the far bend and to the line ,The Stewards have noted and accepted the comments on this occasion.
Race 3 METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305 JUDGE ME JACKIE ( 1 ) - angled outwards from the jump for some strides ,was pushed inwards on to runners racing in to the bend. IDOL HOT ( 2 ) - fav- slowest away , tightened in to the bend railed strongly to keep position near the lead , got to lead soon after. SUBWAY KAY ( 6 ) - angled across in to bend was bumped outwards in to line of following runner who ran on to her hindquarters almost dragging her down resulting in SUBWAY KAY drifting out wider around the bend was uncomfortable in her action on the home finishing in the rear and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in both satorious muscles. WHITE COMET ( 7 ) - attempted to angle across soon after the start bumping with runner on her inner . DERMOTT BROWN ( 8 ) - checked racing in to bend when was unable to avoid running in the back of a runner coming back on him he lost momentum running wide on to the bend was unable to improve there after.
Race 4 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520 BIGTIME JACK ( 3 ) - began awkwardly for a stride or so, then ran on to heels racing in to the first bend. BIGTIME REDO ( 4 ) - checked in to first bend when clipped from behind checked soon after kept his ground. MISCHIEF VIKING ( 5 ) - checked and bumped outwards making contact with wider runner losing some ground. CAWBOURNE BLUEY ( 6 ) - angled across sharply from the jump tightening and checking runners on his inner for several strides, racing around the first bend attempted to angle inwards causing tightening to runner on the inner and bumping runner on the outer . WHATA SHEMOZZLE ( 8 ) - caught heels and dipped slightly racing in to the first bend a couple of strides on was bumped hard outwards losing momentum and settled in the rear was unable to improve there after was referred to the vet and was found to have pain over left deltoid.
Race 5 J P PRINT PETONE C0/1 D - C1d - 645 PHANTOM WAY ( 3 ) - slightly pressured between runners for a stride or so soon after the jump settled back only battled in the run to the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found, Trainer C Morris was questioned by the Stewards regarding the dogs average performance today C Morris could offer no explanation other then her disappointment in the run and intends to give the dog a small break as she may have trained off, Stewards accepted the explanation. THRILLING STAN ( 6 ) - dwelt at the start.
Race 6 THE ROCK 95.2FM C0 - C0 - 305 CAWBOURNE GIBBO ( 2 ) - settled back in to the bend then angled outwards sharply bumping with wide runner BIGTIME BEV ( 6 ) - dwelt at start then angled outwards to improve , was jostled out widest in to the bend soon after was bumped hard going out wider losing momentum and was unable to improve there after was referred to the vet and was found to have an abrasion to the nail bed on the off fore. STAR SECRET ( 8 ) - raced wide in to and bend was awkwardly balanced for a few strides in the run in to the home straight.
Race 7 AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520 MILLY RIVERS ( 2 ) - dwelt at the start. EXTRAPOLATE ( 3 ) - unbalanced for a couple of strides racing in to the home straight. CAWBOURNE SKEETA ( 5 ) -tightened in to the first bend was able to keep his ground. BIGTIME MADISON ( 6 ) - bumped and ran inwards across heels soon after the start. TARZIA ( 7 ) - ran inwards from the jump bumping with runner on her inner for a stride or so. HOMEBUSH MYRA (9/4 ) - tightened for a couple of strides racing in to the first bend.
Race 8 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305 BARN DOOR BILLY ( 1 ) - jostled with runner on his outer for some strides in the run to the bend. MICACHU ( 2 ) - jostled with runner on his inner for some strides in the run to the bend. MEAT DAMON ( 4 ) - jostled with runner on his outer for some strides in the run to the bend ADRENALIN KICK ( 5 ) tightened between runners for some strides in the run to the bend- forced to check wide over heels racing in to the bend EYE KNO ( 7 ) - soon after the start attempted to angle inwards and jostled with runner being pushed outwards on to him for some strides in the run to the bend.
Race 9 FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520 BRADMAN BEGINS ( 2 ) - hampered for a stride or so racing in to the first bend settled back of midfield ,improved in to the far bend finished best OPAWA SHILOH ( 5 ) - came together with runner on outer for a stride or so racing in to the home straight. OPAWA JUDY ( 7 ) - went up with the lids was last away by several lengths ,was checked around the first bend when attempting to improve around runners, tightened in on to railing runner for a stride or so racing in to the home straight.
Race 10 WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305 CARRICK ( 1 ) - jostled and tightened inwards for a few strides racing in to the bend resulting in him going back several lengths on to another runner. LUCKY SUNDAY ( 2 ) - jostled and tightened racing in to the bend losing ground back to the rear. WATCH YOUR BACK ( 3 ) - angled across tightening inside runners racing in to the bend KENITIC SHADOW ( 5 ) - checked racing in to bend as runner came back resulting in her checking over heels and catching heels of runner on her outer resulting in her running wide on to the top bend ANOTHER FLAG ( 6 ) - checked at the start recovered quickly in to stride, was clipped from behind racing in to the bend losing a couple of lengths. BEN NEVIS KNIGHT ( 8 ) - forced to check wide in to the bend when avoiding heels.
Race 11 LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520 BIGTIME BEAUTY ( 4 ) - soon after the start came together with runner on his outer settled back was able to improve in the run along the back straight to be in contention in the run across the top bend. OPAWA ALEX ( 5 ) - soon after the start came together with runner on his inner for a stride or so ,bumped wider on the track racing around the first bend and continued to raced widest in to and along the back straight after covering a lot of extra ground during the running finished in last placing at the line. BARK KNOPFLER ( 8 ) - stood when the lids lifted missing the start by a wide margin, when out of the boxes followed the field to the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 12 BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305 IVANHOV ( 4 ) - bumped at start recovered quickly. ORANGEY YELLOW ( 5 ) - bumped and jostled for a stride or so soon after the start , held up almost getting on heels racing in to the bend was unable to get in to contention there after. UNO AGAIN ( 6 ) - checked and jostled for a couple of strides soon after the start , checked out off heels racing in to the bend recovered good ground there after. BIGTIME BUSTER ( 7 ) - checked at start lost momentum settled back was unable to get in to contention there after. RAPPER TILLY ( 8 ) - angled in sharply from the jump tightening and checking runners on her inner for a couple of strides.
Race 13 LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of Race Day Control. PIKO PIKO CONNER ( 2 ) - dwelt at the jump was then bumped and lost momentum settled back angling outwards in to the bend and was clipped from behind causing her to lose a length or so and raced towards the rear there after. LORI ELLE ( 3 ) - jumped inwards at the start checking runner on her inner. PAWS FOR CONCERN ( 6 ) - late scratching at kenneling when found to be lame on the off fore. HOMEBUSH LUCIFER ( 7 ) - ran on to heels racing in to the bend causing her to lose momentum. YOUR'E THE BEST ( 8 ) - raced widest throughout finished best in the run to the line.
Race 14 MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305 AVEDON FILM ( 4 ) - slow away , angled across towards the rail nearing the bend where he ran outwards sharply causing himself to be severely checked losing all chance and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. TOMORROW STAR ( 5 ) - ran outwards from the jump checking runner on his outer ,angled inwards soon after racing in to the bend and was badly checked as runner on the inner ran outwards sharply and lost all chance there after. ROCKY'S TOO MUCH ( 6 ) - bumped and checked at the start lost momentum settled back and wide ,was checked and ran in to the hind of a runner running out very wide losing all chance there after.
Race 15 HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305 JUST LIKE MA ( 1 ) - changed ground inwards and outwards in the run to the bend resulting in becoming unbalanced racing in to the bend drifting outwards across the face of several runners and causing herself to be checked losing ground running outwards on to the top bend. SEDGEBROOK ANGEL ( 2 ) - when racing handy in to the bend was clipped from behind losing momentum and a couple of lengths. HELLO IT'S ME ( 3 ) - was checked sideways in to bend as a runner came back on her where she lost momentum and several lengths. HUNGRY MACHINE ( 4 ) - hampered in to the bend recovered quickly. BOTANY DIANNE ( 5 ) - checked over heels in to bend ROSIE ( 8 ) - forced to check and race widest in to the bend and raced wide there after.
