Track: Good A loss of power to the lure prior to Race 1 delayed the start by 4 minutes however no further problems were encountered.

Judicial report: 1) SUPPLEMENTARY: Christchurch GRC – 11 August 2017 - Islington Tavern Sprint - C2 – 295.
The review hearing into the suspension imposed on greyhound GOLDSTAR LINKIN regarding Failing to Pursue the lure at the Christchurch GRC’s meeting on the 11 August 2017 was heard yesterday at Addington Raceway. After hearing submissions by Stewards and co-trainer Mr S Evans along with viewing all available films the JCA dismissed the review. This in turn necessitated the scratching of GOLDSTAR LINKIN from today’s meeting. 2) WHEELCHAIR NORM (J McInerney) was late scratched at kenneling after suffering from gastroenteritis en route to the course this morning.

Race 4	Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C1 - 545	GHOST (1) - Ran wide in back and home straights. LUCIASTAR (2) - Contacted by outside runner on first bend. When questioned in regards to the improved performance Trainer J McInerney cited a brief freshen up and favourable draw as contributing factors. GOLDSTAR JAGGER (3) - Tightened early stages losing ground. Ran outwards into first bend. LIGHT THAW (4) - Hampered first bend losing ground. Checked outwards off weakening runner home bend. PIANISSIMO (5) - Checked by outside runner first bend. Ran wide home straight. HOMEBUSH SPUD (6) - Ran inwards checking inside runner first bend. Contacted inside runner on first bend losing ground. Dropped out home bend with post race vet check revealing no injury. HERITAGE WATCH (7) - Pushed wide around first bend. EPIC MANGO (8) - Last on jumping.
Race 5	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310	JOEY BAXTER (1) - Shifted outwards into bend. BLACK DAN (2) - Pushed wide into bend. NO TINKERBELL (3) - Held up for room home straight switching wide for a run. SUBTERFUGE (4) - Slow to jump. HOMEBUSH IVANA (5) - Tightened by inside runners back straight. Race 6	Green Island Barber Sprint - C2 - 310	DETECTIVE DASH (1) - Shifted outwards back straight. Badly checked into bend and ran outwards in consequence pushing runner wide. Continued its outwards movement around the bend pushing runner wider on track. SEA SPRAY ELSA (2) - Tightened by inside runner early stages. Ran outwards into bend contacting hind quarters of runner and becoming badly unbalanced. EPIC FANTASY (3) - Contacted as inside runner pushed outwards back straight losing momentum. Pushed wide into bend and again home turn. CULVIE LASS (4) - Crossed to rail into bend checking inside runners then ran outwards soon after pushing runner wide. Race 8	Otago Daily Times Stakes - C1 - 545	RENEGADE COMET (1) - Shifted outwards off heels into first bend. AWESOME ANNIE (2) - Pushed outwards into first bend and badly dragged down losing ground. Ran extremely wide back straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. PERFECT RESULT (3) - Last from the traps. ZIPPING PIPER (5) - Scrambled away settling back. HOMEBUSH CLINT (6) - Slow to jump.
