Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly apart from the boxes failing to open in Race 1 which resulted in the meeting being put back by one race for the remainder of the program.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: SAFFRON ROSE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 3 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. RUBBED OUT was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 a for marring another runner in race 10 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	The start was delayed by 7 minutes due to the box lids failing to open and this resulted in the dogs being removed and examined by the Vet. They were all cleared to run and the race was manually started. Repairs were carried out to the start mechanism and there were no further problems. PICKERING (1) - Shifted out going into the bend and bumped another runner. HOMEBUSH GISELE (8) - Was bumped and inconvenienced going into the bend and stayed back for the remainder. Following this race the program was put back by one race for the remainder of the meeting.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	WINE O'CLOCK (4) - A little slow to begin and settled back. Checked over heels going into the bend losing ground and stayed back for the remainder to finish last. GOLDSTAR GIZMO (6) - Bumped and inconvenienced when the start was made and lost ground. Checked in the home straight when in restricted room adjacent to the rail and lost ground.
Race 3	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 520	SAFFRON ROSE (3) - Shifted out on the final bend and turned her head towards another runner and this continued for some distance. As a result the bitch was referred to the Vet, was found to have hock pain with a 14 day stand down but was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. MISCHIEF VIKING (5) - Hampered for some distance when forced very wide on the bend and into the straight. Referred to the vet and found to have a webbing injury. SECRET HOMBRE (6) - Was slow to begin losing several lengths but did make up some ground over the final stages.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	KINETIC SHADOW (3) - Checked and fell soon after the start but regained her feet and finished the race. Was referred to the Vet and found to have quadricep muscle pain.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 FINAL - C1f - 305	FAIR CRUZIN (4) - Crowded and checked after the start when there was pressure from the outside. KIRKHAM JASPER (5) - Crowded after the start and went back to the rear and never recovered. IF IT FITZ (6) - Tightened soon after the start and lost ground but recovered to finish 4th. MINDER (7) - Shifted in abruptly after the start and caused tightening and checks to other runners.
Race 6	HATRICK DASH C0 - C0 - 305	MS RUBBLE DOUBLE (1) - Checked after the start when there was movement in from outside runners. VANOS (3) - Jostled and checked after the start when there was movement in from outside runners and he settled back and stayed there. Was checked and fell after the finish line and was referred to the Vet and found to have pain in the right gastrocnemius muscle. LACE (4) - checked after the start and stayed back throughout the race. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (5) - Shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to several other runners.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE EXCITE (1) - Shifted out going into the first corner and caused checks to other runners and she was also checked and fell. Took no further part in the race and was referred to the Vet and found to have suffered an off foreleg fracture. GOLDSTAR HOLLY (2) - Was checked losing ground going into the first bend when another runner shifted out onto her running line but she recovered to finish in 3rd place. OPAWA ALEX (6) - Checked going into the first bend and stayed back throughout the remainder .
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	KAY MARTING (3) - Hampered when another runner came back onto her running line. She then shifted out was collided with a runner to her outside and lost momentum for a short distance. BEN NEVIS KNIGHT (5) - Checked going into the bend and went back onto trailing runner which was checked. NGAKAWAU (7) - Checked when running into the back of another runner going into the bend.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	RAEWYN (3) - Was bumped and lost ground going into the first bend and she never recovered and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 10	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	TAKE ACTION (1) - Was checked when racing near the rear going into the back straight and she lost momentum and stayed well back for the remainder. BIGTIME MONTY (3) - Hampered going into the back straight when well back and lost ground and remained at the rear for the remainder. RUBBED OUT (5) - Shifted out on the home turn and marred another runner and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. RAPPER TILLY (7) - Was hampered when marred by anther runner on the home turn and she lost momentum.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME CHAMP (2) - Was checked going into the bend when racing onto the back of another runner and he lost ground and stayed back for the remainder. MARY BLUE BLOOD (7) - Was checked going into the bend, lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME MICHELLE (6) - The favourite settled back in the field and failed to make up any ground and stayed back throughout to finish in last place.
Race 13	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	PACIFIC VIBE (6) - Was checked from behind going into the bend and was inconvenienced losing ground and stayed well back. GURU SECRET (7) - Checked off heels going into the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and she never recovered and finished last.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE MACK (1) - Was jostled for some distance going to the first corner and rounding the bend and was eventually checked losing three lengths. BIGTIME STU (4) - Shifted in going to the first corner and caused a check to another runner which lost ground.
Race 15	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	ROCKY'S TO MUCH (3) - Was checked soon after the start and went back to near the rear but recovered to finish 5th. STARRY BAXTER (4) - Checked soon after the start and went back to last and stayed there for the remainder. VEE MARINA (7) - Shifted in abruptly soon after the start and caused checks to other runners and was also affected and finished in 2nd last place.
