Judicial report: The Final of the C1 Middle Distance race, which consisted of Greyhounds that competed in heats on 13 June, was originally scheduled for today. However after the nominations for the Heats were finalised, the Club changed the date of this Final until Thursday 22 June with the consent of GRNZ. In consequence of this, dogs that qualified for this Final were given approval to withdraw from the Final prior to the Box Draw being completed so that they were able to compete in the Heats of the NZ Stayers Cup which is a Group 1 event to be run on Thursday 22 June.

LEXIE RAE (6) - Badly tightened back straight and ran outwards dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BROOKE DAVIS (7) - Angled inwards back straight. MR. BEAR (8) - Slight check from behind into bend.
Race 2	Ron's Muzzle Repairs Ph 0272916330 Dash - C1 - 295	LAGOON TWIST (2) - Shifted outwards into bend causing tightening to outside runners. Angled wide home straight. UNFETTERED (3) - Tightened by inside runner into bend losing ground. OHOKA ANGEL (4) - Tightened by inside runner into bend losing ground. MISSISSIPPI GIRL (6) - Checked by outside into bend and became unbalanced losing ground. Assessed by vet and found to have a torn gracilis muscle. HIGH ON VEE (7) - Angled inwards into bend checking inside runner. HELL'S A COMING (8) - Last on jumping. Raced wide throughout.
Race 3	Chris & LIsa Earl Sprint - C1 - 295	BIG CATCH (2) - Attempted to run outwards back straight contacting outside runner and losing ground. KOROIBETE (3) - Badly tightened and checked early stages losing its chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA BEAR (4) - Badly tightened early stages losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TUI STYLE (5) - Badly tightened early stages losing ground. Shifted up the track home straight. SMASH FIRE (6) - Checked early stages and then ran inwards tightening a number of runners. INKY LORD (7) - Ran inwards early stages. Ran wide home turn.
Race 4	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	IDOL JAZZ (2) - Very slow to jump. ESTER ACTION (3) - Tightened around first bend. GHOST (4) - Tightened and ran outwards early stages. Raced wide back straight. CAIRO (5) - Slightly tightened first bend. OPAWA ROOSTER (6) - Pushed outwards early stages.
Race 5	Happy Birthday Craig White Dash - C1 - 295	JADED AFFAIR (2) - Last to jump. Angled wide home turn. Appeared to brush rail following race with a post race vet check revealing stifle soreness. MINOR BRAINWAVE (3) - Tightened into bend losing ground. Forced wide home turn. CULVIE JAY DEE (6) - Ran wide home turn.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA MINE (4) - Tightened and checked into first bend losing ground. KIA TERE (6) - Tightened and checked into first bend dropping to rear. Hit rail on first bend. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. DYNA BEVLIN (8) - Slight check in run to first bend losing ground.
Race 7	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 295	LAGOON ALLIRA (1) - Angled outwards off heels into bend TRICKY ACTION (2) - Held up into bend. AROHA (3) - Slow to jump. Collided with outside runner into bend. GENETIC MARLOW (5) - Tightened into bend losing ground. OITY ALLEN (6) - Checked by outside runner initial stages. Ran outwards back straight. TALK TALK (7) - Checked by outside runner initial stages. Forced wider back straight. HOMEBUSH CHERICO (8) - Ran inwards checking inside runners initial stages. Collided with inside runner into bend. Checked by inside runner on bend and dropped to rear. Assessed by vet and found to have a fractured toe.
Race 8	Little Brown Jug Dash - C1 - 295	UNFOUNDED (1) - Very slow to jump. HATFIELD (2) - Pushed very wide home turn. Came together with inside runner home straight. OHOKA ALEX (4) - Slow to jump. ZULU JASPER (5) - Shifted outwards early stages. Severely checked when racing to the outside of HOMEBUSH JUSTINE on bend running outwards and losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA SHORT (6) - Hampered by inside runner early stages. Pushed very wide home turn. ANDOLAS (7) - Hampered by inside runner early stages. MAX BRAINSTRAIN (8) - Hampered by inside runner early stages. Came together with outside runner home straight.

Angled inwards home turn contacting inside runner losing momentum. HOMEBUSH CLINT (5) - Checked by inside runner into bend. TERRA BINDI (7) - Angled outwards home turn and contacted by outside runner which had run inwards.
