Judicial report: 1). SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT: Christchurch GRC - 25th May 2017 - Race 11 Murray Wigley @ Ray White Harding Cup - Trainer C Weir has reported to Stewards that SWIMMING GOAT had sustained a left hock strain and soreness to its right bicep muscle subsequent to this race. Mr Weir also advised he would be having blood test taken from the dog in the coming days.

2). Trainer N Wanhalla was fined $50.00 for failing to produce JINJA LOCH for kenneling by the prescribed time.

3). AD'S SPICE (Race 2) - late scratching after being found to have a split toe prior to stir ups.

4). Races 5 and 7 were delayed 2 & 1 minutes respectively at the request of the T.A.B

5). OPAWA LEIGH (Race 5) - stood down for 3 months (second offence) and is required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion for Failing to Pursue the Lure.

6). EXTRADITE (Race 6) - stood down for 28 days and is required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion for Marring .

7). OPAWA PAM (Race 8) - stood down for 28 days and is required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion for Marring .

8). PADDY THE BAKER (Race 14) - late scratching at kenneling on vets advice.

9). All stand downs and judicial entries were unable to be entered electronically due to technical issues with GRNZ's website.

GIANCANA (4) - ran on the shoulder of outside runner leading up to the bend. GOLDSTAR PHELPS (5) - checked shortly after the start. ZORBA THE GREEK (6) - boxed first. Ran on the shoulder of inside runner leading up to the bend.
Race 2	Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295	JINJA LOCH (4) - came up the track in run to bend making contact with outside runner. .Checked outwards off heels entering the bend. Forced wider on the track rounding bend by inside runner. HELL'S A COMING (10/6) - slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels rounding the bend forcing outside runner up the track. AD'S SPICE (7) -late scratched prior to stir ups after been found to have spilt a toe nail. DRAGON QUEEN (8) - slow to jump.Contacted from inside early stages.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	MINOR BRAINWAVE (1) - checked outwards off heels prior to the bend. squeezed and lost momentum entering the bend. JINJA WILLY (2) - contacted from the outside entering the bend. COCO BANGO (3) - squeezed for room prior to the first bend and had to steady. KALONGA (4) - came in and made contact with inside runner entering the bend. INKY LORD (5) - forced down track early stages. HARDEN FASTER (6) - came up with lid losing its chance. KABLITZ (7) - forced down track early stages.
Race 4	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph 0272719588 Stakes - C1 - 520	PENALTY BALE (3) - checked out off heels entering the back straight. KAY BOMB (5) - checked out off heels entering the first bend when crowded from the outside. Dragged down entering the home bend. DAVID'S LEGACY (7) - contacted from the inside entering the back straight losing momentum. Climbed on heels entering home bend. Severely contacted from the inside exiting the final bend. Subjected to a post race vet check which revealed no injury. KNOW OTHER (8) - slow to jump.Placed in restricted room and made contact with the running rail exiting the final bend before coming outwards and making heavy contact with outside runner. Was awkwardly placed to the running rail at the lure and subjected to a post race vet check which revealed a deep laceration to its left hind stifle and as a consequence was transported to Shirley Vet clinic for treatment. A 21 day incapacitation period was issued.
Race 5	Cheviot Trust Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	TUI STYLE (1) - inconvenienced entering the bend. OPAWA LEIGH (2) - eased free of interference entering the bend retreating through the field rapidly before falling to the track after being struck from behind. Post Race vet check cleared the dog of serious injury and a 3 month incapacitation was issued (Second offence) and 1 satisfactory trial required for breach of rule 55.1 (b). HOMEBUSH TULIP (6) - inconvenienced rounding bend. MAGMA (7) - began awkwardly. Terminally checked rounding the bend losing chance. Post race vet check cleared the dog of injury. BLAZIN ACTION (8) - terminally checked rounding the bend losing chance. Post race vet check cleared the dog of injury.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C1 - 295	WONG BOX (1) - lost momentum entering the bend when placed in restricted room. EXTRADITE (3) - shifted up the track and turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with outside runner on several occasions. Cleared of injury post race. 28 day incapacitation issued and 1 satisfactory trial required for breach of rule 55.1(a). DUKE BAXTER (4) - checked outwards off heels exiting the bend. SMASH DEMAND (5) - placed in restricted room rounding the bend and lost ground. SWEET AS BRAD (7) - forced up the track and had muzzle contact from inside runner rounding the bend losing its chance.
Race 7	Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295	COLERIDGE JIM (4) - boxed first. RUM GIN MIXER (5) - contacted from outside entering the bend. CISCO (6) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and had to change stride. LUCKY SUNDAY (7) - checked off heels prior to the bend. OHOKA ALEX (8) - contacted inside runner entering the bend.
Race 8	Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	MAX BRAINSTRAIN (1) - came up the track early stages. UNFETTERED (2) - squeezed between outside runner and running rail entering the bend losing momentum. FLAT PACK (10/3) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground. 7 day incapacitation issued for bleeding to the underside of its left front foot. ROAD BLOCK (4) - boxed first. checked entering the first bend losing ground. OPAWA PAM (6) - slow to jump. Shifted up the track exiting the bend turning its head towards the runner to its immediate outside making muzzle contact. Cleared of injury post race. 28 day incapacitation issued and 1 satisfactory trial required for breaching of rule 55.1(a). TERRA ALERT (7) - inconvenienced rounding the bend having to steady. SMASH GATOR (8) - contacted from inside shortly after entering home straight.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA MINE (2) - contacted outside runner on several occasions in run to first bend. FORZA (3) - checked outwards off heels entering the first bend. DYNA BEVLIN (5) - contacted inside runner on several occasions in run to first bend. Squeezed and lost ground prior to the first bend. HOMEBUSH RAGNA (6) - contacted from inside entering the first bend and fell to the track in consequence. Subjected to a post race vet check and found to have sustained fractured left Scapula with a 28 day incapacitation issued. JUST JAMES (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners and shifted up the track entering the first bend. SPARKLING TERRA (8) - inconvenienced by fallen runner entering first bend.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	NIPPA-A-SPOT (2) - came out and was contacted early stages. STU ON IT (3) - squeezed early. Made contact with outside runner in run to bend. Inconvenienced rounding the bend. OHOKA ANGEL (4) - squeezed for racing room and lost ground entering the bend. TOKEN ACE (5) - lost ground when contacted from behind entering the bend. TRICKY ACTION (6) - made contact with inside runner early stages. KELLY'S BOY (9/8) - boxed first. Contacted from the inside when exiting the bend.
Race 11	Murray Wigley @ Ray White Ph 021480250 Stakes - C1 - 520	GENTLEMAN TIM (4) - checked outwards off heels entering the back straight losing ground. KNOW CHEERS (6) - boxed first.
Race 12	Ron's Muzzle Repairs Ph 0272916330 Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH FUED (3) - contacted from outside early stages losing ground. OHOKA HUNTER (4) - had to steady when placed in restricted room entering bend ROO BALOO (5) - began awkwardly before coming down the track making contact with inside runner.
Race 13	Islington Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	CANNONBALL BOLT (2) - squeezed for racing room and lost ground entering the bend. Contacted rom the inside exiting the bend. UNFOUNDED (5) - came up with the lid and was slow to jump. Made contact with outside runner exiting the bend. FEAR MARINA (6) - checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend.
