Judicial report: PAT ALLIE (Lane/Wales) was required by Stewards acting under Rule 80.1 to complete a Satisfactory Trial over middle distance before resuming racing for unsatisfactory performance in race 2.

Race 1	Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	UNCLE JOCK (1) - checked in run to the turn then struck running rail and shifted sharply outwards severely checking two other runners and forcing them wide on track. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury sustained. AFRICAN VIOLET (3) - shifted inwards in run to the turn tightening runner to inside. LOKIE (4) - slow to jump. SOZIN'S ANGEL (5) - led to the turn then checked and lost ground. MR BEAR (6) - shifted inwards on turn checking runner to inside. HOMEBUSH PANSY (7) - checked and forced wide on turn. ESKIMO CHILL (8) - checked and dictated wide on turn.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 545	PAT ALLIE (7) - When reaching the lead in the straight appeared to shorten stride briefly. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Stewards reviewed film footage and co-trainer J.Lane was also afforded the opportunity to view the coverage. Stewards noted that while this was just the greyhound's second start the performance was unsatisfactory and, acting under Rule 80.1, required the greyhound to complete a Satisfactory Trial over middle distance before resuming racing. JUST ERNIE (8) - slow to jump and ran wide throughout.
Race 3	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C1 - 310	OPAWA SHORT (2) - shifted outwards shortly after jump tightening runner to outside. Ran sharply inwards into turn striking running rail and losing all chance. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. APOLLO KING (3) - slow to jump and then checked. Referred to the vet for assessment. KNOCKA FEW BACK (7) - checked at the jump. HOMEBUSH CLINT (8) - ran inwards at the jump checking runner to inside. Ran wide in straight.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1/2 - 310	MISSISSIPPI GIRL (2) - clipped another runner into the turn as field came together then pushed wide and lost ground. PADDY THE BAKER (6) - bounded at the jump. SPAKLING TERRA (7) - slow to jump the pushed wide on turn. AMELIA ROB (9/1) - tightened into the turn then clipped from behind, ran wide checking other runners and losing ground.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 545	OPAWA JUDY (2) - slow to jump. Checked off heels on first turn. PIANISSIMO (6) - checked outwards off heels into straight and ran wide.
Race 6	Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C1 - 545	HERITAGE WATCH (7) - scrambled from jump and lost ground early.
Race 7	Otago Silk Stockings Sprint - C1 - 310	OBEYANCE (4) - checked at jump. EPIC FANTASY (5) - ran inwards at jump checking runner to inside.
Race 8	Williams Signs and Graphix Ltd Sprint - C1/2 - 310	IDOL STAR (1) - pushed outwards into turn checking trailing runners. SOZIN'S NOIR (2) - checked into turn. NGAKAWAU (5) - shifted outwards into turn when field tightened, then bumped from behind and fell checking trailing runner and taking no competitive part in the race finishing a distant last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. TERRA BINDI (6) - slow to jump and lost ground early. TOKEN ACE (8) - bumped another runner into the turn, then checked and ran wide losing all chance.
Race 9	Glamour Hooves Racing Stables Sprint - C5 - 310	HOMEBUSH FLAME (2) - checked from jump. Ran inwards into turn checking inside runner. HOMEBUSH KELSO (3) - checked into turn. WHEELCHAIR NORM (5) - dictated inwards from jump checking runner to inside. EPIC WHOPPA (6) - ran inwards from jump dictating another runner inwards.
Race 10	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2/3 - 545	WAIMAC (2) - jumped awkwardly and lost ground early. Bumped into straight losing momentum. PUKEKO BOLT (6) - checked into straight. OPAWA MINSTREL (10/3) - bumped into straight checking trailing runner.
Race 11	Otago Daily Times Sprint - C3/4 - 310	HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) - shifted outwards at jump tightening runners to outside. OPAWA BLINKY (5) - checked at jump. NIPPAOFSABUCCA (6) - tightened and checked at jump.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 16th May - C3 - 310	HOMEBUSH JUSTINE (2) - ran outwards on turn becoming unbalanced when struck from rear and lost ground. SOZIN'S BLUE (6) - tightened between runners in run to the turn. VERBENA (9) - clipped heels of runner on turn losing momentum. HOMEBUSH ERROL (10/5) - pushed outwards in run to the turn tightening runner to outside.
