Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	BRIGHTEYE'S SOUL (2) - Shifted out from the start and jostled for a short distance and lost momentum briefly but recovered to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE KAZ (3) - Bumped and briefly unbalanced from the start and lost ground but recovered to finish 3rd. TAKEAWAY (5) - Checked and lost ground going into the bend when another runner came back through the field and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. OPAWA LEIGH (7) - Was handy in 2nd place going into the bend but eased and went quickly back through the field to last and finished in that position. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 2	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 305	FAIR CRUZIN (1) - Was crowded adjacent to the rail going into the bend and went back quickly through the field causing checks to other runners and she lost several lengths and all chance. CAWBOURNE MERL (6) - Checked going into the bend when unable to clear a retreating runner and she lost ground and stayed back for the remainder. SECOND TIME (7) - Checked going into the bend when inconvenienced by a runner coming back from a forward position and stayed back to finish 6th.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	The race was all clear.
Race 4	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4 - C4 - 305	INCREASING (4) - Was tightened between runners after the start and was checked back to the rear. A short distance further on, he jostled with another runner for some distance and was unbalanced. BOTANY WIN (5) - Jostled for some distance and was briefly unbalanced going to the first turn. BIGTIME SPEEDY (6) - Checked over heels and was briefly inconvenienced on the bend and soon after, was checked and fell but was quickly back on her feet and finished the race. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. KENNEL BOY (8) - Was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. Was on a forward move on the bend when checked losing momentum and only battled in the final stages.
Race 6	AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305	BRILLIANT ASHLEE (3) - Was tightened between runners soon after the start and lost momentum briefly. CHAOS THEORY (7) - Went up with box lids and lost four lengths but made up ground to finish 6th. LITTLE COMET (9/6) - Was bumped and forced wide going into the bend and stayed back from there to finish in last place.
Race 7	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C3 - C3 - 305	JOBS RITE (6) - Missed the start by four lengths and stayed back throughout to finish in last place.
Race 8	THE ROCK 92.5FM C3 - C3 - 305	OPAWA MAF (2) - Jostled for a short distance after the start, lost ground and stayed well back. Suffered a head laceration, possibly at the lure and was subjected to the Vets inspection. TRENDY MIND (3) - Jostled and lost momentum briefly soon after the start. Shifted out going into the bend and bumped another runner and was unbalanced. Continued to shift out and covered extra ground but still finished in 4th place. CAWBOURNE HINT (4) - Was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners after the start and was obliged to ease for a short distance and went back to last. He then made up ground to finish in 5th place. ASTERIA (9/8) - Was bumped and briefly unbalanced on the bend.
Race 9	Adept Accountants Wanganui Distance (Group 1) Final - C2df - 755	TRON BRADMAN (8) - Was a little slow to begin and then raced wide for most of the race covering considerable extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	METEOR VEGE (2) - Shifted out soon after the start and bumped and lost momentum briefly. BIGTIME LADY (3) - Awkwardly placed between runners and was jostled soon after the start and went back to the rear. She then drifted to be several lengths behind the other runners and finished a distant last and was referred to the Vet due to an awkward galloping action and found to have pain in both quadriceps. OUR GYPSY (5) - Was jostled soon after the start and went back to near the rear and stayed back.
Race 11	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C5 - C5 - 305	The start was delayed by 5 minutes due to a hold up at the harness races in Auckland. AL'S GIRL (3) - Was bumped and unbalanced going to the first turn and she lost ground back to the rear and never recovered. BIGTIME THINKER (4) - Was awkwardly placed in restricted room between runners going to the first turn and was shuffled back to near the rear and stayed back. SKETCHY CHIEF (5) - Began awkwardly and settled back. STOLE ME WALLET (6) - Began awkwardly and was then tightened between runners losing ground. Raced wide into and around the bend and stayed back to finish 7th.
Race 12	LIZ MARTIN 40th BIRTHDAY DASH C4 - C4 - 305	HOMEBUSH RAMONA (6) - Was crowded from the start and lost ground. Was referred to the Vet with a spike wound to the left hind. ALL IN BERLIN (8) - Shifted in and bumped with another runner and was unbalanced losing ground and she stayed well back for the remainder and finished last.
