Post race veterinary examination revealed an injury the right quadriceps with a 10 day stand down imposed. SHAZZA'S BOY (4) - slow away then briefly contacted shortly after the start. Hampered entering the first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. HOWLIN' ACE (5) - brief contact shortly after the start losing ground. Checked off heels for several strides first turn losing ground. SINGS LIKE ELVIS (6) - Hampered entering the first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. TYNCASTLE FLYER (7) - hampered first turn. KEN WILDE (8) - contacted for a distance in the back straight.

It was noted the rear door was ajar as the start was effected with the starter and connections spoken to. JUST ABOUT READY (3) - tightened and inconvenienced first turn. DIORLING (5) - contact after the start. Checked back straight then shifted in toward the running rail entering the first turn.
