Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: CAWBOURNE PANIC ( Race 7 ) and KNEAD YOU ( Race 9 ) were nominated for and gained entry into those races from the reserves while also being nominated and gaining entry into races at Palmerston North the following day and under a new Rule, they are not able to start on consecutive days. As a result they were scratched without penalty today, under Rule 64.7. N.Z.G.R.A have now put in place systems to prevent Greyhounds being nominated and being drawn into fields on consecutive days in the future.

Race 1	RACING @ HATRICK WEDNESDAY C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME RAPID (2) - Jostled in the early stages and briefly unbalanced. CAWBOURNE SPOOK (3) - Jostled for a short distance after the start and lost momentum briefly. WELLINGTON WIND (4) - Bumped with another runner going to the first turnn and again on the bend and lost ground on both occasions and finished well back. CIARA (5) - Bumped with another runner going to the first turn and again on the bend, lost ground and stayed back to finish last. ALAMAIN KINETIC (8) - Began awkwardly and then blundered losing three lengths but recovered to finish in 4th place. MS RUBBLE DOUBLE (9/1) - Hampered in the early stages, settled back and never recovered.
Race 2	R BUCKLAND RECYCLING C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH LUCIFER (1) - Was bumped and forced in going to the first corner and was shuffled back to the rear but made up some ground to finish 5th. WATCH YOUR BACK (5) - Was dictated in going to the first turn and jostled for a short distance and lost momentum.
Race 3	GREYHOUNDS AS PETS C1 - C1 - 305	MANU RAMA (3) - galloped on the heels of another runner going into the bend and was checked but recovered to finish on into 2nd place. FAIR CRUZIN (5) - Galloped on and checked going into the bend and lost three lengths. DOUBLE ICE (6) - Checked going into the bend losing four lengths and stayed back. BIGTIME RACER (7) - Checked going into the bend losing all chance and finished in last place.
Race 4	LISA'S RUSSIAN REVIVAL C1 - C1 - 520	SECRET AGENDA (2) - Was slow to begin and then clipped heels and blundered going to the first turn losing several lengths and stayed back. WHATA SHEMOZZEL (4) - Shifted in going into the first bend and made firm contact with the rail and lost ground. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. BIGTIME POWER (5) - Slow to begin and lost three lengths but made up ground well to win the race.
Race 5	CAROLS TAB C1 - C1 - 305	LISSADELL BABE (3) - Checked going into the bend losing four lengths and stayed back. HALF SILVER FERN (4) - Slow to begin and settled back and then checked going into the bend and stayed back to finish 7th. MARK BE GOOD (7) - Checked going into the bend losing several lengths and all chance. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a cut over a hind paw.
Race 6	DIMMOCKS ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	KINETIC ASSASIN (4) - Drifted in the run to the first turn and continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilis pain on both sides.
Race 7	SUPER LIQUOR HAWERA C1 - C1 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 8	HAVING SOME FUN SYNDICATE C2 - C2 - 305	KA PAI (3) - Jostled with another runner for some distance on the bend and was classed as falling and finished onto the lure a distance last and was referred to the Vet and found to have a foreleg injury. BRILLIANT AVA (4) - Jostled with another runner for some distance on the bend and was classed as falling and was referred to the Vet and found to have thigh bruising.
Race 9	ELTHAM VET SERVICES C0D F - C0df - 645	GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (7) - Was checked when the start was made and lost three lengths. Recovered quickly to go to the lead with a circuit to run and stayed in front for the remainder of the race.
Race 10	EMPIRE HOTEL STRATFORD C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	MAGIC LATTE (4) - Checked going into the first bend losing five lengths and stayed well back. GEORDIE WHO (6) - Checked and unbalanced going into the first turn and lost two lengths. MAKING TIME (7) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground quickly.
Race 11	UNITED TRAVEL ELTHAM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	RITZA ROMAN (3) - Began a little awkwardly and settled back where he stayed throughout and finished in last place.
Race 12	SOUTH TARANAKI SUPPORTERS CLUB C3 - C3 - 305	BOTANY WIN (4) - Was referred to the Vet after appearing to suffer an injury at the lure area and found to have reopened an old injury. HU XIAN (6) - Was checked going into the bend and again approaching the home turn and was shuffled back to last and finished in that position.
