Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time. The Stewards still have concerns with the accuracy of the Scales and will discuss the matter with the Club and NZGRA.

Judicial report: Trainer M.Roberts was fined $ 50-00 under the provisions of Rule 71.4 when failing to catch a Greyhound as arranged following race 10.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC C0 Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	ON DA QUEST (6) - Slow to begin and stayed well back throughout. CAMILA BAXTER (7) - Was bumped and unbalanced going into the bend and stayed well back to finish in 6th place.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	TOMORROW STAR (2) - Jostled when the start was made, settled back and stayed there for the remainder to finish 6th. BIGTIME RACER (3) Jostled at the start and went back to last where he stayed throughout the race. CROOKED HILLARY (5) - Jostled when the start was made and was briefly unbalanced and lost ground. CAWBOURNE MACK (7) - Raced wide and was bumped going into the bend and forced wider over extra ground and finished 7th.
Race 3	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	TOO MUCH ANDRE (4) - Bumped at the start and settled back where he stayed throughout. HOMEBUSH GRACIE (6) - Hampered and lost ground when the start was made and she never recovered the lost ground. ZONIC BLUE (7) - Hampered when the start was made and lost ground but recovered to finish in 5th place.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 Ht4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	YOU BETCHA BONNY (1) - Galloped on and hampered when leading into the straight. BLACKJACK MAN (2) - Galloped on the leaders heels entering the home straight and went on to win the race. UNFLINCHING (3) - Began awkwardly losing ground but recovered to finish 3rd. CALA D'OR (6) - Began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. CAWBOURNE GIBBO (7) - Collided with another runner on the first turn and fell but recovered her feet to finish the race. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH MYRA (8) - collided with another runner going into the bend and lost several lengths.
Race 5	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 FINAL - C1f - 305	THRILLING MIA (3) - Jostled and hampered after the start and lost ground. KIWI BAXTER (4) - Jostled after the start and settled back where she stayed throughout. BIGTIME SPIRIT (5) - Jostled for a short distance after the start but recovered to make up ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 6	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 520	CAWBOURNE BRYCE (1) - Went up with the box lids losing three lengths. LAST MAN ALIVE (6) - Crowded and lost ground soon after the start but made up ground for 4th place. CAWBOURNE ANGUS (7) - Crowded after the start and checked again going into the first bend, lost ground on both occasions and stayed back to finish last.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	GHOST (1) - Checked from behind going into the first bend, went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. GOLDEN PIXEL (3) - Raced handy until hampered on the final bend where she lost ground and finished in 5th place.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE SERINA (2) - Was up in weight by 1.4 kilograms and this was an intentional increase. CAWBOURNE SERINA began awkwardly losing ground and she then raced a little wide throughout the race and finished in last place. RUN ZOLA (8) - Was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and found to have a split webbing.
Race 9	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C0D - C0d - 645	The race was all clear.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE RIDGE (5) - Began awkwardly and was then bumped and settled back. Made up ground well to finish in 4th place. OPAWA CALL (6) - Bumped going into the first bend and unbalanced losing ground and she tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 11	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	IVANHOV (4) - Raced wide on the first bend covering extra ground. OPAWA GUMSIE (8) - Raced wide over extra ground on the first bend.
Race 12	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	GULLY RUNNER (2) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths and was then checked on the bend losing further ground and finished in last place. BUZZY GEM (5) - Checked on the bend and went back onto another runner and stayed back to finish in 6th place.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	YOU BETCHA BECKY (1) - Was handy to the lead going into the bend but received an interrupted run and was shuffled back to the rear and finished in last place.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	JOHNNY ANGEL (3) - Was checked going into the bend and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. YOU BETCHA MISTY (5) - Was tightened and shuffled back to the rear going into the bend and she stayed well back for the remainder and finished in 7th place.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	PRINCESS NOVAK (1) - Was crowded adjacent to the rail when going into the first turn and eased to avoid heels and lost several lengths. Was given the benefit of some doubt but consideration will be given to ordering a satisfactory trial if an improvement in form is not forthcoming in the bitches next start.
