Race 1	SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS WELCOME - C0 - 390	WAKE UP SUSIE (1) - ran outwards on turn bumping another runner heavily and then ran outwards into straight dictating another runner wide. UNBRIDLED (5) - jumped awkwardly losing momentum. DEAD WONG (7) - tightened between runners shortly after the jump and dictated wide into straight. BOTANY DIANNE (6) - checked in run to the turn. WHITE NOT WONG (8) - ran inwards at jump tightening runner to inside and then continued to run inwards checking another runner. Heavily bumped on turn losing ground.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 457	AGISTRI (1) - slow to jump and bumped into turn. OPAWA LASS (2) - marred and checked into turn losing all chance. TRENDY BLAKE (4) - slow to jump. OPAWA ROBYNANN (5) - into the bend turned her head outwards and shifted ground abruptly outwards making head and muzzle contact with OPAWA LASS (2) and HOMEBUSH STORMY (7) and checking a trailing runner. Stewards charged OPAWA ROBYNANN under Rule 79.1.a with marring the running of another greyhound. OPAWA ROBYNANN was suspended for 28 days and required to complete a Satisfactory Trial before resuming. LIGHT THAW (6) - bumped into turn losing momentum. HOMEBUSH STORMY (7) - marred and checked into turn losing all chance. KNOW BARGAIN (8) - checked into turn losing ground.
Race 3	EVOQUE CAFE @ REMARKABLES - C1 - 390	THESEUS (2) - ran outwards in run to the turn checking runners to outside and then became unbalanced when dictated wide in straight losing momentum. OPAWA PAM (3) - slow to jump and checked into turn, then dictated another runner wide in straight becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. BIG CATCH (5) - jumped awkwardly losing momentum and then checked into turn and checked outwards off heels on turn. THUNDER STORM (6) - checked at jump and tightened into turn losing ground. DEFINITE (7) - shifted ground inwards at jump tightening runner to inside, and then dictated outwards in run to the turn. UNFETTERED (8) - dictated outwards in run to the turn.
Race 4	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C1 - 457	SOUTHERN HONEY (2) - checked outwards off heels into turn heavily checking trailing runner. VICARIOUS (3) - checked off rear of runner on turn losing momentum. CAWBOURNE WAZZA (6) - heavily checked into turn becoming unbalanced and losing all chance.
Race 5	SUMMERTIME SPRINT - C1 - 390	WONG ANSWER (5) -slow to jump and checked in straight. FRECKLE FLYER (6) - checked from jump, and shifted ground outwards in straight tightening runner to outside. HOMEBUSH FLAME (8) - ran inwards from the jump checking runner to inside.
Race 6	ASCOT PARK CONSORTIUM - C2 - 390	LOTS OF BEERSIES (1) - ran outwards into bend tightening runner to outside. BRONSON JEWEL (3) - tightened at jump. HOMEBUSH BAILEY (4) - shifted inwards at jump tightening runner to inside. FLAMING SAMBUCA (5) - bumped and checked between runners into turn losing ground and then checked off heels on bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH RILEY (6) - ran inwards into bend checking runner to inside.
Race 7	GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C2 - 457	ALLEN HADRIAN (1) - checked in run to the turn. BROKEN PENNILESS (2) - checked at the jump and again in the run to the turn losing all chance. SPRING SAM (4) - checked at the jump and then shifted ground inwards in the run to the bend checking runners to inside.. KNOW NEGLECT (5) - ran inwards at jump checking runners to inside.
Race 8	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C3 - 390	TIMELY REMINDER (3) - jumped awkwardly losing momentum. HIS NIBS (4) - clipped from behind on bend stumbling briefly and losing all chance and checking trailing runner. JOEY BAXTER (6) - clipped heels on turn losing ground. OPAWA IDOL (7) - checked on turn losing ground. Checked by veterinarian post race and found to have a wound to the right hind leg with a seven day stand down recommended. Following the race OPAWA BINGE (1) was also subject to a veterinary check which revealed a spike wound to the left fore leg with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 9	CONGRATULATIONS FUNNY MUMMY - C4 - 390	HOMEBUSH SLOAN (3) - pushed outwards in run to the bend tightening trailing runners. STORMING NORM (4) - tightened and then checked outwards off heels shortly after the jump. SOUTHERN MIST (5) - jumped awkwardly checking runner to outside and then ran inwards in run to the bend checking runners to inside. CHICAGO BLACK (6) - checked at jump then ran outwards into straight going wide on track.
Race 10	OREPUKI DISTANCE - C2d - 630	KNOW SCHOLAR (2) - checked outwards off heels into first turn checking trailing runner. KNOW ANSWER (4) - scrambled at jump losing momentum the became unbalanced when clipped from behind. PIANISSIMO (6) - clipped heels of runner from jump when running inwards losing momentum. HELENA ALLEN (7) - checked into first turn. HERITAGE WATCH (8) - ran wide in back and home straights. LUCIASTAR (9/3) - tightened at end of back straight losing momentum.
Race 11	MR WHIPPY SOUTHLAND - C4/5 - 390	KNOWHASSLE (4) - ran outwards on turn checking runner to outside. HOMEBUSH ERROL (7) - bounded at jump then checked, and further checked on turn. NO LEAF CLOVER (8) - shifted inwards at jump checking runner to inside.
Race 12	CONGRATULATIONS MISS PAIGE - C4 - 457	ACE BALE (2) - checked in run to the turn. OPAWA VAL (3) - bumped and lost momentum from jump and then checked in run to the turn.. MINA ALLEN (4) - bumped and lost momentum from jump. HOMEBUSH HOWARD (5) - shifted ground inwards in run to the turn checking runners to inside.
Race 13	WOODEND SPRINT - C1 - 390	BOTANY COLD (2) - checked in run to the turn. WHAT'S WONG (3) - checked in run to the turn clipping the rear of another runner and losing ground. . PADDY THE BAKER (4) - slow to jump and checked in run to the turn. EUG THE SCROOGE (5) - shifted ground inwards in the run to the turn checking runners to inside. NO TINKERBELL (7) - shifted ground inwards at jump checking runner to inside and again ran inwards on turn checking runner to inside. OPAWA EXPRESS (9/1) - clipped from behind in run to the turn losing momentum. OZARK'S WATCH (10/6) - checked at jump and again on turn.

THORACIC (2) - checked and dictated wide into turn. MISS BLUE SKY (3) - shifted ground outwards at jump checking runner outside. MIN HO (4) - checked at jump. OPAWA JUDY (6) - slow to jump and then checked and dictated wide into turn. DAN BLUE BLOOD (8) - checked into turn losing ground.
Race 15	RACING AGAIN 10TH JANUARY - C1 - 390	STAR APACHE (2) - shifted outwards at jump checking runner to outside. AVALANCH CITY (3) - checked and became unbalanced losing momentum. Then checked into turn losing ground. DEBORAH BAY (4) - bounded at jump losing ground and then checked. STORMY SUNDAY (5) - ran inwards at jump checking runner to inside and again into turn checking trailing runner. KNOCKA FEW BACK (7) - ran inwards from jump tightening runners to inside.
