Judicial report: (1) OPAWA WHISPER (JT McInerney) charged under Rule 79.1a with marring the running of another greyhound in Race 4 and as this was the third offence suspended for 12 months from 18th October 2016. (2) AVALANCH CITY (JT McInerney) has completed 10 clear runs since being suspended under Rule 79.1 with this suspension now cancelled under Rule 79.7.

Race 1	Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	OPAWA PAM (4) - slow to jump losing several lengths and tightened behind field into turn. GOLDSTAR HOLLY (6) - checked into turn losing ground. WHOSE HE (7) - ran wide after jumping.
Race 2	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C0 - 545	GHISELLA (2) - slow to jump then shifted ground outwards into first turn checking runners to outside. LIGHT THAW (3) - clipped from behind and checked into first turn. OPAWA MINE (7) - tail taped pre race as precaution. Checked at start losing ground, and then forced to check off rear of runner into first turn running wide. WAIMAK SHEFF (9/6) - shifted ground outwards at jump checking runner to outer, and then dictated very wide into first turn. After the race GHISELLA was subject to a veterinary check which revealed the greyhound to have tied up with a 5 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 545	NO TINKERBELL (1) - shifted ground outwards into first turn checking other runners. SOUTHERN HONEY (2) - tightened on first turn losing ground and checked outwards off rear of another runner into back straight. KELLY'S MY NAME (3) - ran outwards at jump checking runner to outer. FRECKLE FLYER (4) - checked at jump losing momentum. HOMEBUSH SKIP (6) - checked into first turn losing ground.
Race 4	Green Island Barber Sprint - C1 - 310	OPAWA WHISPER (3) - eased and turned his head into the turn marring the running of another greyhound and forcing it wide on the track losing all chance. AVALANCH CITY (7) - forced wide into the turn losing all chance. Subsequent to the running of this race OPAWA WHISPER (JT McInerney) was charged under Rule 79.1a with marring the running of another greyhound and as this was the third offence under this Rule the greyhound was suspended for 12 months.
Race 5	Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C1 - 310	ANOTHER JAMIE (2) - ran outwards on turn clipping rear of another runner. THRILLING SHRIMP (3) - tightened into turn losing ground. SIOUX BAXTER (4) - checked into turn. OPAWA EXPRESS (5) - shifted ground outwards off heels into turn checking trailing runners. MONACO DENVER (6) - checked into turn. RIB CURLER (7) - became unbalanced on turn when struck from behind and lost ground.
Race 6	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1 - 545	SHEZ KEEN (1) -clipped the rear of another runner at end of back straight and fell losing all chance to finish a distant last. Subject to veterinary check after the race which revealed no injury. MISS BLUE SKY (2) - checked into first turn, then ran inwards checking trailing runner. DAN BLUE BLOOD (4) - checked at jump and again into first turn. STORMING MACK (5) - ran inwards at jump checking runner to inside. RHINEGOLDE (7) - checked into first turn.
Race 7	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1/2 - 310	PADDY THE BAKER (1) - shifted ground outwards into turn checking runner to outside. POETIK (3) - checked at jump and into turn. TROUBLESOME BRIT (4) - ran inwards at jump checking runner to inside.MITCHELL DEAN (5) - slow to jump.
Race 8	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C3 - 310	HIS NIBS (2) - tightened and checked off rear of another on turn. SUPER BAD (5) - tightened at the jump and ran outwards into turn. HOMEBUSH SHANE (10/6) - shifted ground inwards at jump. CHERRY CRUSHER (7) - dictated wide on track into turn.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRSf - 545	GOLDSTAR JAGGER (3) - shifted ground outwards at jump checking runner to outside, and checked on first turn. GOLDSTAR DALLAS (4) - slow to jump and checked shortly after. JINJA HEART (6) - checked outwards off heels into first turn and forced another runner wide. OPAWA VAIL (7) - dictated wide into first turn and ran wide throughout.
Race 10	Green Island Barber Stakes - C2 - 545	MINA ALLEN (4) - ran inwards on first turn checking runner to inside. ZIPPING SONNY (9/3) - checked on first turn losing ground. HERITAGE WATCH (6) - ran wide throughout. OPAWA PEACHES (10/1) - jumped awkwardly and lost momentum.
Race 11	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Dash - C5 - 310	PUMA PANTS (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling with a cut to the right hind pad. MYSTIC ACTION (1) - tightened in run to the turn then ran abruptly inwards striking the running rail and tailed off to finish last. Subject to veterinary check after the race which revealed no injury. RAND (3) - checked into turn losing ground. HOMEBUSH RILEY (5) - bumped turning into straight and lost ground. MAGIC MIKE (8) - bumped into straight.
Race 12	Racing Again Sunday 23rd October - C1/2 - 310	ESTER ACTION (9/1) - tightened into turn and checked outwards forcing runners wide. THUNDER STORM (5) - dictated wide on turn losing ground. ANA DIOR (7) - tightened on turn losing momentum.
