Judicial report: Due to a communication error MAGIC DOZER was not examined following its race on 8th September 2016. However, trainer G Bennett advised Stewards that the dog was subsequently found to be slightly sore through the back region upon return to his kennels. Mr Bennett further advised the dog has undergone massage and ultra-sound treatment during the week in preparation for tonight's assignment.

Race 4	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295	OHOKA BILLY (1) - Dragged down into bend and lost ground. EXPECT DELAY (2) - Shifted outwards early stages. DEFINER (3) - Checked in early stages. HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (4) - Last to jump. JINJA LOCH (5) - Badly tightened into bend and unbalanced. Ran wide on home turn. BELIEVE (6) - Badly checked into bend and forced wide. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MAGIC DOZER (7) - Badly checked into bend. ULTRA ACTION (8) - Came together with another runner into bend and lost momentum.

ODIN SLAYER (3) - Checked outwards off heels into first bend. Raced wide in back straight. POETIK (4) - Checked on home turn when losing ground. VELVET GIRL (5) - Checked and lost ground into first bend. GOLDSTAR COCO (7) - Checked and unbalanced into first bend. Collided with another runner soon after. OPAWA MINSTREL (8) - Raced wide into first bend.
Race 6	Mac Developments Stakes - C3 - 520	SMOKEY ACTION (2) - Checked off heels into first bend. OPAWA ZENA (3) - Raced wide in back straight. MISCHIEF MANAGED (6) - Checked off heels in home straight and lost momentum. WEARS THE GOLD (7) - Ran wide when leading on first bend. KNOW VALUE (8) - Last to jump.
Race 7	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C5 - 295	PUMA PANTS (2) - Held up home turn and then ran outwards. MY FIRST LITTER (4) - Impeded on home turn and forced to shift ground inwards. AMERICAN WARRIOR (6) - Clear last on jumping. Checked outwards off heels into bend and ran very wide.
Race 8	N.Z. Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRS - 520	OPAWA DIESEL (5) - Last to jump. HOMEBUSH HOWARD (6) - Checked into first bend dropping to the rear. ALBIE JAY (7) - Angled inwards into first bend coming together with another runner.
Race 9	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Stakes - C3/4 - 520	CAWBOURNE ESKI (3) - Tightened in early stages then collided with another runner. Checked into first bend and dropped to the rear. Checked outwards off heels on first bend. BREAKING MAD (4) - Checked and turned sideways when handy into first bend losing ground. Checked again at end of back straight. BOSTON HEART (6) - Collided with another runner in early stages. LUMINARY (8) - Ran very wide around first bend.

Ran wide into straight first time. KNOW WORTH (5) - Raced wide in back straight on second occasion. GOLDSTAR JAGGER (6) - Slow to jump. Improved wide on home turn. PHANTOM WAY (8) - Ran very wide on the with a lap to run. Shifted outwards in home straight. Held up on final bend.

OPAWA KEVIN (3) - Muzzle came adrift during race. CAWBOURNE KRISTY (4) - Tightened in home straight. JON SNOW LIVES (6) - Pushed wide in back straight.
