| Race 1 | Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C0 - 375 | MID COLLISION (1) was slow away. ONE ANNA HALF (2) and HIGHWAY HOUND (5) came together rounding the first turn with ONE ANNA HALF then shifting out taking HIGHWAY HOUND wider with these runners losing ground. OFF THE GRID (8) raced wide throughout. |
| Race 2 | Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C1 - 375 | THRILLING CARTER (5) was tightened and checked leaving the boxes when SHOT GUN HARRY (6) shifted in abruptly with SHOT GUN HARRY then making solid contact with ATOMIC RUSH (4) which was taken in onto ELECTRIC DEE EYE (3). SHOT GUN HARRY made solid contact with the hindquarters of ATOMIC RUSH for several strides rounding the first turn with SHOT GUN HARRY becoming badly unbalanced losing considerable ground inconveniencing THRILLING CARTER which shifted wider. SHOT GUN HARRY underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 3 | Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C4/5 - 375 | SKUZI (6), JUMP UP (7) and MACJAM (8) came together leaving the boxes. YEBOAH (4) and COUNTRY GUN (5) came together soon after the start. Racing toward the first turn VON TRAPP (2), PAY DA TRAIL (3), YEBOAH, COUNTRY GUN, SKUZI and JUMP UP came together with VON TRAPP, PAY DA TRAIL and YEBOAH losing ground. SKUZI and MACJAM (8) came together rounding the first turn with MACJAM losing ground going back onto VON TRAPP and PAY DA TRAIL. VON TRAPP shifted out off heels rounding the bend losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C1 - 375 | MARY'S BAD BOY (2) and JINJA MIA (8) were slow away. LE ROI (4) and MIGHTY TWIST (5) came together leaving the boxes losing ground. MIGHTY TWIST and JINJA MIA came together entering the first turn. DECEPTUVE LAD (3), JELLY GEM (7) and JINJA MIA came together rounding the bend with JELLY GEM losing ground shifting in. |
| Race 5 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C3 - 375 | ATOONGA AIR (4) made contact with the hindquarters of ROCKY BOY (3) leaving the boxes losing ground. ROCKY BOY had to steady off heels rounding the first turn. OUR SAMBO (1) raced wide. |
| Race 6 | Happy Birthday Mike Stent Stakes - C2 - 457 | ZIPPING KASEY (4) and CAWBOURNE PANIC (5) came together leaving the boxes with ZIPPING KASEY then shifting in onto CAWBOURNE STEPS (3). Racing into the first turn ZIPPING KASEY shifted in off heels making contact with the running rail. CAWBOURNE PANIC (5) shifted out off heels rounding the final bend. FRAPPUCINO (7) raced wide. |
| Race 7 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 375 | SHARELLA (6) and WHO ROCKS (7) came together leaving the boxes. KINLOCH OSTI (2) and LOCHA KNOCKA (3) came together leaving the boxes and again for several strides racing into the first turn with these runners losing ground. SHARELLA shifted out across the heels of ROCKIN' FANCY (4) entering the final straight. |
| Race 8 | Couplands Dog Biscuits Sprint - C1 - 375 | UNO NATHAN (6) and SNIGGLEPUSS (8) were the last to leave the boxes with UNO NATHAN then further inconvenienced when CORUBA CATE (7) angled in. The muzzle on HERE WITHOUT YOU (3) broke shortly after leaving the boxes. Entering the final straight UNO NATHAN shifted out abruptly off heels making solid contact with PODIUM BONUS (1) and OPAWA LEANNA (2) with these runners all badly hampered with UNO NATHAN becoming unbalanced and falling. UNO NATHAN recovered its footing to finish the event some distance from the field with a post race veterinary examination revealing no abnormality. OPAWA LEANNA was referred to the veterinarian following this event with an injury to the right hind with a 10 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 9 | Box1 Gold Sprint - C2 - 375 | TEE KAY YAPPER (5) was slow away. UNILEVEN (2), CAWBOURNE BRAE (3) and GEE THUNDER (4) came together leaving the boxes and on several occasions racing into the first turn with CAWBOURNE BRAE and GEE THUNDER coming together with DIPSY LALA (6) and OPAWA POPPY (7) entering the first turn with these runners all losing ground inconveniencing TEE KAY YAPPER. TEE KAY YAPPER was held up early in the final straight. |
| Race 10 | Group 2 Angus Wright Memorial - INV - 457 | TIMMY TRUMPET (4) was slow away. OPAWA SHACKLEY (5) and FLYING MERKEL (6) were inconvenienced at the start when TEEGAMBO (3) shifted out and CAWBOURNE BRICK (7) shifted in. TEEGAMBO and CAWBOURNE BRICK came together racing down the back straight inconveniencing OPAWA SHACKLEY. |
| Race 11 | Fond Foods Ltd Stakes - C1 - 457 | NANGAR GEM (1) and ESTEE (2) came together leaving the boxes. ESTEE shifted in entering the first turn becoming awkwardly placed near the running rail losing ground going back onto APRIL'S MY MUM (5) with these runners losing ground. AUGELLO (8) raced wide. ESTEE was referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected. |

SANTA SANGRE (8), THRILLING CASSIE (7), THRILLING BORIS (6), KIRKHAM WEBBY (5), BUSTER BLUTH and CAWBOURNE ESKI all came together soon after the start. KIRKHAM WEBBY, THRILLING BORIS and THRILLING CASSIE came together entering the first turn with KIRKHAM WEBBY and THRILLING CASSIE becoming unbalanced shifting in hampering CAWBOURNE ESKI. |
