KINLOCH POWER (5) was dictated inwards by HARSESIS (7) after the start and hampered CHOKEHOLD and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (3).TIP THE BABE (1), BARNICLE BULLET (2) and HARSESIS all jostled for a distance into the bend. Rounding the bend BARNICLE BULLET was checked and lost ground when TIP THE BABE shifted away from the running line. CHIPPY JORDY was hampered rounding the bend when well back in the running. |

GUMP'S THE NAME (5) and GREET THE JUDGE (6) jostled for a distance after the start. OM NOM NOM (2) lost momentum into the bend when tight to the inside of OPAWA ROCKET. GUMP'S THE NAME shifted wider on the track into the bend and forced GREET THE JUDGE and ESTER ACTION (8) over extra ground. |

MAJESTIC ACTION (8) was slow in the initial stages. MAJESTIC ACTION was hampered and unbalanced passing the winning post on the first occasion when making firm contact with IDOL LEANNE (6). Rounding the first turn COUNTRY CROSSING (2) checked across the heels of HOMEBUSH KELSO (4) and hampered MINA ALLEN (3), WITH PRIDE (5) and FEKITOA (7). On entering the back straight WITH PRIDE and IDOL LEANNE made firm contact. At the end of the back straight WITH PRIDE was contacted from behind by FEKITOA with both runners losing momentum. |

KIHAEL KALUNA and OHOKA BILLY (2) jostled for some distance shortly thereafter with OHOKA BILLY being checked and losing ground. Rounding the bend KIHAEL KALUNA checked off the heels of CHICAGO BLACK . KIHAEL KALUNA then jostled with OHOKA BILLY for some distance rounding the bend. |
