Track: Good After a fair amount of rain preceding and during the meeting the Track was presented in a very good racing condition being well groomed throughout. All other equipment operated well.

Race 1	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318	Soon after the start MACJAM box 8 ran in across the face of WHEELIE RASCAL, MELMAN and ALLEGRO BOOM forcing this runner in on to KIMETTO ( fav ) CALAMITY FREE and ANUI checking all these runners. Racing in to the first bend MELMAN angled in on to ALLEGRO BOOM pushing this runner in on to the hind of MACJAM, ALLEGRO BOOM came back out on to MELMAN pushing him outwards where KIMETTO attempted to gain a run between these runners where they bumped and jostled for some strides WHEELIE RASCAL was forced wider on to the top bend avoiding these runners. KIMETTO after being bumped and jostled racing across the top bend was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 2	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318	OUR MYSTRO box 6 began awkwardly for a stride then ran inwards across the face of ELECTRIC DEE EYE, WETCHESTER box 1 ran out sharply across the face of ROCKY MCAWESOME and WILLI GAS IT ( fav ) WETCHESTER then ran in to ZIGGY ATTACK, all these runners were checked for a couple strides. Racing towards the home turn when well back WILLI GAS IT improved around the outer of OUR MYSTRO angling down to the rail resulting in OUR MYSTRO catching the heels of WILLI GAS IT both runners being hampered for a stride or so.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 318	Racing in to the first bend ASTA was hampered for some strides when racing in restricted room. SACRED CAN YOU and WALTER MITTY ran wide in to and around the bend ,WALTER MITTY after covering extra ground ran on for 2nd placing at the line.
Race 4	Deli Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes Series Final - C0f - 527	HOWARD I KNOW box 8 went up with the lids being last in to stride by 5 or so lengths. HOWARD I KNOW improved on to the rear of the field racing in to the bend on the first occasion and was forced to run wide over the heels of FASHION'S FANCY as this runner ran out sharply after being checked. Racing across the top bend GRACE SLICK racing along the inner was checked as MAKING UP improved past angling back down to the rail. GRACE SLICK recovered to finish on for 4th placing at the line.
Race 5	Hewlett Electrical Stakes - C1 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion EMBRACE ME and BARRA BOY made contact resulting in EMBRACE ME running out wide around the bend in to the back straight. After racing wide EMBRACE ME finished in to 4th placing at the line. In the run in to the far bend GROWLER JET angled in across the face of GOLFING BUDDY who went back on to JETSUN QUAKER who went outwards with BARRA BOY running on to her heels dragging her down on her haunches for a stride. JETSUN QUAKER and BARRA BOY lost momentum back to a clear last in the running finishing a margin in the rear at the line. JETSUN QUAKER and BARRA BOY were both referred to the vet for assessment both dogs were found to be cleared of abnormalities.
Race 6	DogZone Sprint - C3 - 318	Racing from the boxes MULTICHASER box 3 came out on to DON'T BRAG as DIVA POSE box 7 angled across resulting in tightening and jostling to GOOD RETURN and IDOL GEE. DIVA POSE kept on pushing inwards running across the face of these runners running on to LORD DE AIR who changed ground outwards over the heels of DIVA POSE as they raced to the bend. DIVA POSE and MULTI CHASER were further hampered racing in to the bend as IDOL GEE changed ground angling inwards. LORD DE AIR and MULTI CHASER were unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 7	McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C2/3 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion MONTANA was hampered for room on the inner by APRIL'S MY MUM for several strides. Racing to the back straight APRIL'S MY MUM was checked as GLOBAL CONQUEST improved past angling across to the rail. LOCHINVAR BELLE racing handy along the inner in the run along the back straight was checked as MISS VELOCETTE improved past crossing down to the rail. LOCHINVAR BELLE lost several lengths at this point ,soon after racing to the home turn GLOBAL CONQUEST improved past LOCHINVAR BELLE crossing down to the rail checking this runner ,LOCHINVAR BELLE lost momentum going back towards the rear finishing in 7th placing at the line. MR MUMBLES was referred to the vet after returning to the kennel block and was found to have a webbing injury to the off fore a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C2 - 318	Racing away from the start there was bumping and jostling between THRILLING WIGGLE, ROTOVEGAS SPARKY,ROCKIN FANCY and DRURY, further in FORTIS FIONA ran in across the face of EKALI coming together with BOW RIVER MAN. Racing to the first bend FORTIS FIONA drifted back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. FORTIS FIONA was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	NZ Sires Produce Stakes - R/A - 527	KNOW DECISION box 5 jumped away well towards the lead and was soon tightened between runners as ABSINTHE MINDED angled across. KNOW DECISION was pushed back back to the rear as the field raced in to the bend on the first occasion. KNOW DECISION improved out wide racing in to the back straight making good ground widest racing in to the far bend where he was hampered losing a couple of lengths or so as KNOW SCHOLAR moved outwards. KNOW DECISION attempted to make ground rounding the home turn finishing in 3rd placing at the line.
Race 10	Plasterboard Ltd Sprint - C5 - 318	In the run to the first bend NANGAR STAR box 8 raced up towards the leader angling in tightening BELCROFT BANKER inwards, SUBIC BAY alongside these runners angled in towards the rail across the face of KIT AND CABOODLE checking this runner back a couple of lengths. STYLISH FANCY raced widest in to the bend then angled down to the rail making ground in to 5th placing at the line. In the run down the home straight NANGAR STAR finishing strongly on the outer angled inwards making contact with HALLO STAR for a stride, nearing the line NANGAR STAR moved in again tightening and hampering HALLO STAR as they ran to the line.
Race 11	Pump and Engineering Ltd Stakes - C5 - 527	YAP'S ME MUM ( fav ) from box 1 was away well in the initial stages racing handy in to the bend on the first occasion, she checked out over the heels of PROPHECY racing around the first bend being bumped from behind by JOE JOE as this runner improved into the gap. YAP'S ME MUM went back towards the rear and failed to get back in to contention there after finishing in the rear at the line. YAP'S ME MUM was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. JOE JOE winner of this race was nominated for a Post race swab. JOE JOE was taken out for urine testing after the last race during trialling where the dog became visibly upset at the lure going round on several occasions. After consultation with the Swabbing Steward connections and Stewards it was felt for Welfare reasons that the dog should be let go.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	KNOCKA SLOY box 3 began awkwardly for a stride. Racing to the first bend KAPAI LANA racing wide out ran inwards on to WOBURN ABBEY and HOT STAR pushing these runners in across the face of FORMATION resulting in FORMATION running on to and across the hind of WOBURN ABBEY out across the line of SCOTT NO VALUE who ran up and over the back of FORMATION stumbling going down on his back haunches . SCOTT NO VALUE recovered to his paws quickly to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field. SCOTT NO VALUE and FORMATION were referred to the vet for assessment with both dogs being cleared of abnormalities.
