Judicial report: 1) Trainer M Grant was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when GOOD GENES was presented 1.9 kgs under its last race weight on 25 February 2016. 2) Trainers J&D Fahey were fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 68.8.b. when failing to present registration papers with their runners.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	GOOD GENES (3) and OPAWA LEAN MEAT (4) came together in the early stages. STRUGGLE IS REAL (1) checked outwards off runners on the bend. MAGIC MIKE (6) and OPAWA LEAN MEAT ran wide around the bend. On the home turn WALLY BAXTER (2) angled outwards forcing GOOD GENES outwards on to HOMEBUSH GRU (7) simultaneously to MAGIC MIKE running inwards with STRUGGLE IS REAL being badly tightened and falling. STRUGGLE IS REAL was referred to the vet for assessment and found to be free of injury.
Race 2	Sozin's Comet At Stud Dash - C3/4 - 295	DINERO ACTION (3) was slow to jump. GORILLA ON DRUMS (5) ran inwards in the early stages checking MARK BE GOOD (4) and contacting AIDEN BAXTER (2) and PUMA PANTS (1). Soon after ARBRE CHENE (9/6) angled inwards causing a severe check to GORILLA ON DRUMS which dropped to a clear last. AIDEN BAXTER was also hampered in this incident. ZEBIDIAH (8) lost ground on the bend with MARK BE GOOD, DINERO ACTION and AIDEN BAXTER all forced wide around this runner. GORILLA ON DRUMS was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a torn hip support.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	STAND UP GIRL (2) and SPEEDY DISPATCH (6) were the last pair on jumping. EBONY FANCY (3) and OPAWA COLIN (4) bumped in the early stages with OPAWA COLIN then running outwards losing ground. FLIBERTY JIBERTY (7) ran inwards into the bend checking BADUZZI (5) which lost ground and checked the trailing EBONY FANCY. STAND UP GIRL and BADUZZI raced wide over the concluding stages.
Race 4	The Turf Bar Stakes - C2 - 520	CAWBOURNE KENNY (6), GOLDSTAR COCO (7) and LEKTRA SPIDER (8) were the last trio on jumping. BLACK SAILS (1) was tightened into the first bend and ran outwards pushing RUSHCUTER ACTION (5) a touch wider. GOLDSTAR COCO raced wide around the first bend. On that bend LEKTRA SPIDER and OPAWA STELLA (9/4) collided with LEKTRA SPIDER losing ground. This bitch was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities. GOLDSTAR COCO and CAWBOURNE KENNY came together on the home turn.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C3/4 - 295	GREET THE JUDGE (8) ran inwards in the early stages checking OPAWA OPAL (7) and HOMEBUSH RUFUS (6). ROYAL ACTION (4) ran outwards in the early stages before being pushed back down the track by HOMEBUSH RUFUS. ROYAL ACTION ran outwards on the bend checking HOMEBUSH RUFUS and catching the hind quarters of GREET THE JUDGE with this trio losing ground. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner MICKEY TEE (5), Trainer R Adcock advised that the dog was spelled after racing poorly late last year and has benefited from the freshen up. Mr Adcock added that the dog had trialed well last week but even so he was surprised at the tote support for the dog.
Race 6	Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C3 - 295	CABARITA (3) ran inwards in the early stages tightening DYNA QUIRK (2) and JINJA LOCH (1). EARN ME SOME (5) and SWIMMING GOAT (6) bumped for a stride in the early stages. JINJA LOCH ran outwards in the back straight checking DYNA QUIRK and then coming together with HUMAN INSTINCT (7). This pair lost ground at this stage and finished well back and were both referred to the vet for assessment where HUMAN INSTINCT was found to have a small tear in scar tissue. On the home turn MAUDIE'S BABE (4) ran outwards pushing SWIMMING GOAT wider. This pair then came together on several occasions with SWIMMING GOAT changing ground inwards to obtain a clear run. Stewards viewed the replay of the home turn and were satisfied that at no stage did MAUDIE'S BABE voluntarily look outwards towards SWIMMING GOAT with no further action deemed necessary.
Race 7	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2/3 - 520	KNOW SCHOLAR (6) ran inwards in the run to the first bend tightening VERNON BALE (5), ZIPPING SONNY (4) and ACE BALE (3). KNOW SCHOLAR then ran wide around the first bend and in the back straight. HOMEBUSH HOWARD (7) was tightened entering the final bend with the trailing ACE BALE held up and angling outwards. JINJA BILLY (2) weakened over the concluding stages and was referred to the vet for assessment where no injury was detected. The connections advised that as this was JINJA BILLY's first middle distance run for some time it is expected that the dog will improve with the run.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4/5 - 295	GRAND APACHE (6) was a clear last on jumping. KERAMUS (3) shifted up the track in the back straight pushing BARNICLE BULLET (5) wider. Into the bend MY FIRST LITTER (8) ran inwards tightening TINA (7), HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (2) and SMASH RUMOUR (1). As TINA lost ground BARNICLE BULLET was severely checked and lost ground with GRAND APACHE also inconvenienced. BARNICLE BULLET and TINA were both checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 9	Carol's T.A.B. Feature - R/A - 520	SOUTHERN LIGHTS (8) was last to jump. MYSTIC ACTION (4) and KNOW HERO (3) collided in the early stages with RAEWYN (2) and SOLSTICE (1) briefly inconvenienced. MYSTIC ACTION got on heels for a stride into the first bend and lost momentum. SOUTHERN LIGHTS raced wide around the first bend. KNOW HERO raced wide in the back straight.
Race 10	Business Time At Stud Dash - C4/5 - 295	CARNEGIE HALL (7) ran inwards in the early stages pushing OHOKA BILLY (6) down the track. In the back straight WHEELCHAIR NORM (5) ran inwards hampering HOMEBUSH ARIEL (4) and NEW THANG (3) with the trailing CHOKEHOLD (1) badly inconvenienced. PAPERBOND (8) was dragged down on the home turn losing momentum. ABOUT TOWN (2) and HOMEBUSH ARIEL bumped together on the turn with HOMEBUSH ARIEL racing wide from that stage. WHEELCHAIR NORM and NEW THANG came together on the home turn with CARNEGIE HALL held up behind this pair. NEW THANG, WHEELCHAIR NORM and PAPERBOND were all referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C4/5 - 520	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. BENJAMIN BLACK (8) was last to jump. BOSTON BILLY (3) checked outwards off heels into the first bend pushing OPAWA STRETCH (4) and KNOW MENTION (6) over extra ground. CAWBOURNE WAR (9/7) also ran wide around the first bend. KNOW MAYHEM (5) lost ground at the end of the back straight. CAN'T CATCH TIM (2) angled outwards on the home turn causing BENJAMIN BLACK, KNOW MAYHEM and CAWBOURNE WAR to be checked and lose momentum.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C3/4 - 295	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. JINJA PISTOL (8) and OPAWA CRUSADE (10/4) were the last pair on jumping. COSTING MONEY (6) ran inwards making solid contact with the hind quarters of TOKEN ACE (5) which lost ground. TOKEN ACE was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality. AIR EXPRESS (7) raced wide around the home turn. GRIFINATOR (1) shifted outwards in the home straight checking HOMEBUSH PAIGE (2) with AIR EXPRESS inconvenienced. Co-trainer K Taylor cited a downgrade as being the reason for the vastly improved performance of the winner CULVIE GODFATHER (3).
