| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | CHILL OUT RACH (5) was awkward out of the traps and ran inwards checking SOUTHERN BLUE (4) with this pair losing ground. ZIRCON (1) ran outwards on dispatch checking KELLY'S BOY (2). Wider out KING SIMBA (8) ran inwards checking MACHINE MAN (7), BELFAST BARRY (6) and KELLY'S BOY. MACHINE MAN ran outwards into the bend pushing SOUTHERN BLUE wider on the track. KELLY'S BOY checked outwards on the home turn losing ground. CHILL OUT RACH was referred to the vet for assessment and found to be suffering from a burst wart. |
| Race 2 | Barrons Supplies Dash - C1 - 295 | ROYAL BASH (7) was a clear last at the jump. CRYSTALL MCBELL (4) angled inwards in the back straight causing ALEX RUMBLE (3), PIECE (10/2) and MR. NOVEMBER (1) to all be tightened and jostle for some distance. PIECE was again tightened on the bend and dropped to a clear last. UNO JAMES (5) checked outwards off the heels of LIL DANNY RASCAL (8) on the home turn and lost ground with LIL DANNY RASCAL being dragged down for a stride in this incident and ANOTHER VESPA (9/6) hampered in behind. CRYSTALL MCBELL was checked from behind by ROYAL BASH on the home turn and lost momentum. PIECE and CRYSTALL MCBELL were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. MR. NOVEMBER was also checked and found to have a ruptured toe ligament. |
| Race 3 | Coalgate Tavern Dash - C0 - 295 | EKALI (2) and KING CAESAR (3) collided soon after the jump. BIG CATCH (7) ran inwards contacting OPAWA WHISPER (6) in the early stages. Soon after CULVIE DEN (8) ran inwards simultaneously to EKALI angling outwards with KING CAESAR, JINJA BRIAN (4), TOTES (5) and OPAWA WHISPER all being tightened and losing ground. BARCIA EXPRESS (1) ran wide when leading on the home turn as did OPAWA WHISPER and TOTES when this pair were racing at the rear. KING CAESAR and TOTES were both referred to the vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 4 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520 | GOLDSTAR DALLAS (7) was a clear last at the jump. OPAWA FAITH (3) and JAYBE ALBIE (4) collided in the early stages. OPAWA DIVA (5) was tightened into the first bend and dropped to a clear last. JAYBE ALBIE was caught wide when improving in the back straight. OPAWA GAIL (1) ran wide for a few strides on the home turn. |
| Race 5 | Garden City Chem Dry Sprint - C0 - 295 | ANOTHER RELM (2) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season. CHILE MUSTARD (4) and REALITY (8) were the last pair at the jump. FLASH THE CASH (5) was dragged down into the bend with SMASH FIRE (3), GINA MCBELL (7) and CHILE MUSTARD all receiving interference as a result and losing ground and their chances. SMASH FIRE, FLASH THE CASH and GINA MCBELL were all checked and cleared by the vet following this event. |
| Race 6 | Islington Tavern Dash - C2 - 295 | IN THE BOOT (1) and HARDEN FASTER (5) were the last pair at the jump. SMOKING MARLEY (4) was tightened into the bend and ran outwards causing inconvenience to HOMEBUSH RILEY (6) and HARDEN FASTER which lost ground. MAUDIE'S BABE (7) ran wide around the home turn. |
| Race 7 | Mac Developments Sprint - C2 - 295 | GIGANAIRE (1) ran outwards in the back straight checking KINGMAN (2). GIGANAIRE continued to angle outwards on the bend pushing ANOTHER BELLE (8) wider on the track. BIG MUDDY (7) raced wide on the home turn. BIG MUDDY and RAPAKI KATH both fell at the lure and were subsequently cleared of any abnormality. |
| Race 8 | Livamol Stakes Heat 1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1 | HOMEBUSH BUCK (6) and LAGOON MYTYE (7) came together in the early stages. LAGOON MYTYE was checked into the first bend losing momentum and running wide after MISS VALLEY INN (4) and HOMEBUSH BUCK had angled outwards. OPAWA ZENA (5) and FEKITOA (8) came together for a stride on the first bend. MISS VALLEY INN and OPAWA GRUNTER (9/1) collided for a stride on the home turn when well back. |
| Race 9 | Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Dash - C2 - 295 | APOLLO BAXTER (4) was last from the traps. MAY MAY LAST (3) ran outwards contacting THRILLING ECHO (5) in the early rush. HOMEBUSH SLINKY (6) and MIGHTY MAC (7) came together into the bend. APOLLO BAXTER checked outwards off heels approaching the home turn hampering GLORY HOG (8) for a stride. MIGHTY MAC ran inwards on the home turn checking OHOKA COBY (1) which lost ground and its chance. OHOKA COBY was checked and cleared by the vet post race. APOLLO BAXTER raced wide in the home straight. |
| Race 10 | Livamol Stakes Heat 2 - C2q - 520 Heat 2 | ALL ABOUT ECHO (4) was a late scratching after vomiting before leaving its home kennel. BOTANY RICHIE (2) and OPAWA PAUL (5) dropped to the rear in the early stages. BOTANY RICHIE continued to tail the field with this runner being referred to the vet for assessment where it was found to have wrist pain. LAGOON TWIST (1) raced wide in the back straight. PAUA SHOT (8) dropped out over the concluding stages and was referred to the vet for assessment where it was cleared of injury. |

WINE TIME then ran inwards in the back straight contacting the hind quarters of GREET THE JUDGE (4) with both runners losing momentum. TERRA ALERT (3) shifted outwards in the back straight forcing STRUGGLE IS REAL (5) wider on the track and placing ROYAL ACTION (7) in restricted room. ROYAL ACTION ran outwards on the home turn dictating TERRA ALERT and STRUGGLE IS REAL wider on the track. |
| Race 12 | The Turf Bar Sprint - C2 - 295 | BELLWAVE (8) was a late scratching at kenneling with a cut pad. TILT (3) and UNRELIABLE ANDY (4) bumped together for a stride in the early stages.
