Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer M Grant was fined $100.00 per the minor infringement table (Rule 69.11) when SMASH RUMOUR (Race 9) was presented 1.6kg in excess of the last race weight.

Licenced Handler J McInerney (Jnr) was issued with an Information under rule 87.1.p alleging he failed to comply with an order of a Steward by refusing to immediately remove HOMEBUSH RUFUS (Race 4) from the track after it was declared a late scratching.

Mr McInerney (Jnr) denied a breach of rule 87.1.dd under the Minor Infringement Table in that he was in breach of the boards Mobile Phone Regulation by using his phone when parading HOMEBUSH RUFUS (Race 4) on the race track. Subsequently this was served as an Information.

Mr McInerney (Jnr) was also issued with an Information under rule 87.1.o alleging he misconducted himself when leaving the Stewards room.

All of the above matters will be heard by the J.C.A at a date to be fixed.

Race 1 Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 ADJUDICATOR (7) was slow to begin. Into the turn ONLY GOT TIME (3) shifted outwards and dictated ON THE LEVEL (6) outwards onto KNOW SALUTE (8) both of which lost momentum,OPAWA LEAN MEAT (4) and HOMEBUSH SLINKY (5) came together into the bend when well back.Rounding the bend KNOW SALUTE was unbalanced on a number of occasions when making firm contact with OPAWA LEAN MEAT.
Race 2 Chris & Lisa Earl Dash - C3 - 295 JIMMY HAMMER (1) was slow to begin.Into the bend MULBERRY BROOK (4) shifted inwards and hampered JIMMY HAMMER.SCREW AND BOLT (6) NORMAN JEWEL (7) and GOOD GENES(8) all jostled for a distance into the bend with SCREW AND BOLT and NORMAN JEWEL losing ground as a result. Rounding the turn SWEET MARYLOU (2) was contacted from behind by DREAM LARGE (3) and unbalanced momentarily.Shortly thereafter DREAM LARGE and SWEET MARY LOU made firm contact .
Race 3 Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4 - 295 MUST DESIRE (1) was slow through the initial stages.RODRIGUEZ (5) and GET REDDY FREDDY (6) came together after jumping and jostled for a short distance,RODRIGEUZ got back as a result.Into the turn MUST DESIRE shifted outwards and hampered SHOWROOM (4) and GET REDDY FREDDY both of which were checked and lost ground.
Race 4 I Pave Concrete Dash - C3 - 295 HOMEBUSH RUFUS slipped its lead after stir up and found itself on the lure for some time.HOMEBUSH RUFUS was declared a late scratched by order of the Stewards pursuant to (Rule 38.3l). JINJA PISTOL (6) was slow to begin. Into the bend OPAWA OPAL (5) was awkwardly placed on the heels of LOOK AT LUCY (2) and fell.A post race veterinary inspection cleared OPAWA OPAL of injury.JINJA PISTOL was hampered rounding the bend and lost ground.Rounding the bend NEW THANG (7) checked outwards across the heels of CABARITA (4).
Race 5 David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C3 - 520 BENJAMIN BLACK (3) which had proven extremely hard to box was very slow to begin.Shortly after the start ZIPPING SONNY (5) was tightened and lost ground.Rounding the first bend KNOW SCHOLAR (7) and IZZEY BALE (8) made contact.At the end of the back straight OPAWA GUMISIE (6) lost momentum when awkwardly placed on the heels of JINJA JAFFA (4).ZIPPING SONNY checked outwards across the heels of JINJA JAFFA rounding the final bend.IZZEY BALE became awkward on the heels of ZIPPING SONNY shortly there after.
Race 6 Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C4 - 295 OPAWA ROCKET (7) was slow in the initial stages.Into the first bend MANDI MAE (8) lost momentum when contacted from behind by IMPERSONATOR (6) which was shifted wider by COLLECTING MONEY (5).IMPERSONATOR was hampered in consequence.MANDI MAE was further hampered when being shifted onto the heels of IMPERSONATOR shortly thereafter by the improving OPAWA ROCKET.
Race 7 One Good Horse Stakes - C4 - 520 KIRKHAM JACK (7) blundered after the start and lost ground.Passing the winning post on the first occasion AMBILIGHT (1) was checked when tight to the inside of CHIPPA LATA.(3).
Race 8 Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520 SOUTHERN LIGHTS (5) was slow to begin . DYNA VIKKERS (4) began awkwardly and got back.MYSTIC ACTION (2) ,which was shifting outwards ,was dragged down when in tight quarters passing the winning on the first occasion and lost all chance . A post race veterinary inspection cleared MYSTIC ACTION of injury .
Race 9 Mac Developments Sprint - C5 - 295 ZEBIDIAH (1) and DIZZY STATE (8) were slow in the initial stages.PUMA PANTS (6) was hampered shortly after the start when KNOW KNOWING (7) shifted inwards.Into the turn PUMA PANTS was hampered and lost ground when awkward on the heels of SMASH RUMOUR (5).Rounding the turn DIZZY STATE was placed in restricted room when tight to the inside of MOJO BURST (3).Shortly after MOJO BURST shifted outwards across the heels of KNOW KNOWING .MOJO BURST and DIZZY STATE made firm contact in the straight.
Race 10 Shirley Vet Clinic Distance - C1/2d - 645 GOLDSTAR PO (3) was checked shortly after the start when racing tight to the outside of KNOW SECURITY (1).GOLDSTAR PO came back onto VERNON BALE (2) and lost momentum.Out of the straight on the first occasion VERNON BALE shifted outwards and made contact with TRUST ISSUES (6).VERNON BALE then shifted inwards towards the running line and hampered KNOW DANGER (5) and the trailing GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (7) both of which lost ground and momentum.
Race 11 C.T.V. Dash - C5 - 295 SMASH THAT (8) was slow to begin.BO'S BUSINESS (6) began awkwardly and got back. Rounding the bend SMASH THAT made contact with GORILLA ON DRUMS (7)which was unbalanced coming back onto BO'S BUSINESS .GORILLA ON DRUMS then became awkward on the heels of BO'S BUSINESS and fell.A post race veterinary inspection of GORILLA ON DRUMS revealed no obvious abnormalities.Rounding the turn CAWBOURNE DOZER was forced over extra ground when LITTLE REGUS shifted ground.
Race 12 Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Sprint - C4 - 295 WHEELCHAIR NORM (4) began awkwardly and was further hampered when firmly contacted by MY FIRST LITTER (5) which shifted inwards after the start.Into the first turn both WHEELCHAIR NORM and MY FIRST LITTER were hampered when BAD WEEK (1) shifted outwards .WHEELCHAIR NORM and BAD WEEK jostled for some distance in the straight.
