Racing along the back straight EYREWELL HAWKE (2) made contact with the hindquarters of GIGANAIRE (7). Racing into the first bend EYREWELL HAWKE and ADROIT came together. Shortly after GIGANAIRE, KNOW JEALOUSY (8) and FLYING SWAN collided with the trailing ADROIT also being checked. EYREWELL HAWKE ran wide on the final bend. GIGANAIRE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. EYREWELL HAWKE was also examined by the Vet and found to have a gracilis muscle injury. |
| Race 2 | Business Time At Stud Dash - C3 - 295 | VAN GERWIN (3) was slow to begin. RAINCHECK (7) and ANOTHER JEWEL (8) came together at the start. MISS SOFTY (4) was tightened approaching the first bend between VAN GERWIN and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (5). Racing into the first bend GOLDSTAR BOMBER (2) and BELLWAVE (6) collided. Rounding the bend GOLDSTAR BOMBER and RAINCHECK came together. VAN GERWIN and BELLWAVE collided leaving the bend. VAN GERWIN shifted outwards early in the run home hampering BELLWAVE and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3 - 520 | KNOW LAUGHING (5) and BOUND TO ERUPT (7) jostled for some distance approaching the first bend with KNOW LAUGHING losing ground. KNOW SMIGGLE (2) and BOUND TO ERUPT came together rounding the first bend with KNOW LAUGHING being forced wider on the track entering the back straight. BOUND TO ERUPT lost ground over the concluding stages with a veterinary examination revealing the dog was suffering from slight muscle tie up however no stand down was recommended. |

BOTANY WIN (3) shifted inwards racing along the back straight tightening NO LEAF CLOVER (2). Racing into the first bend BUMP, WHEELCHAIR NORM and RICK'S TERRA (7) collided. Racing into the first bend KINGMAN, BROOKE DAVIS and AMBILIGHT were tightened by LENA ALLEN who was then also tightened by BILLY WEST with AMBILIGHT and BROOKE DAVIS dropping to the rear. BILLY WEST and LENA ALLEN again came together rounding the bend. BROOKE DAVIS and AMBILIGHT bumped shortly after. |

GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (1) shifted outwards at the start checking DYNA VIKKERS (3). UGO FLASH (5) shifted down the track in the early stages checking PUMA PANTS (4), DYNA VIKKERS and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR. BOTANY BLAKE (7) and OPAWA DIESEL collided racing into the first bend with FLYING AMELIA which was racing to their inside also being checked. ZIPPING SONNY (6) was slow to begin. HOMEBUSH ROCKY (2), JESSIE SURFS (3) and OPAWA ROSIE (1) jostled for some distance approaching the first bend with HOMEBUSH ROCKY losing momentum. JEWEL EAGLE (4) checked JESSIE SURFS and OPAWA ROSIE racing into the first bend. Shortly after ZIPPING SONNY and IZZEY BALE (8) came together. HOMEBUSH ROCKY and JESSIE SURFS collided on several occasions rounding the first bend resulting in HOMEBUSH ROCKY being turned outwards by JESSIE SURFS with IZZEY BALE also being inconvenienced. JESSIE SURFS and HOMEBUSH ROCKY again came together on the final bend. HOMEBUSH ROCKY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
