| Race 1 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4 - C4 - 305 | LAST EXPLORER and ON THE LEVEL were slow to begin and settled back. LAST EXPLORER galloped on the back of CAWBOURNE ARIES approaching the home straight and they both checked and fell and ON THE LEVEL and NGAURUHOE were also checked in the incident and lost several lengths. CAWBOURNE ARIES and LAST EXPLORER were referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have leg and shoulder injuries. |
| Race 2 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C4 - C4 - 305 | YA LAUGHIN was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE PORSCHE shifted in from the start and hampered WAR ON TERROR which was inconvenienced for a short distance. SWEET LIES was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going into the bend and was eventually checked and went back onto COSMIC FURY and they never recovered and finished at the rear. |
| Race 3 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C4 - C4 - 305 | WINFIELD AUTUMN shifted in from the start and bumped with LEADFOOT LENNY which lost ground and settled back. WINFIELD AUTUMN then bumped with EL JETTA a short distance further on but they recovered quickly. VISION AND POWER was awkwardly placed inside WINFIELD AUTUMN going into the bend and shifted in to collide with LEADFOOT LENNY and they lost several lengths, went back to the rear and never recovered. SHINZIGZAG was the slowest to begin from box 7 and he then raced wide covering extra ground but ran on quite well for 4th place. |
| Race 4 | THE ROCK 95.2FM - C2 - 520 | CAWBOURNE BRICK shifted in from the start and hampered CURIOUS LIFE and also I'M A CATCH which settled back. I'M A CATCH then checked off the back of CAWBOURNE BRICK going into the first bend and they both lost ground with I'M A CATCH the most affected and she went back to last. YOU'RE SO FREE and I'M A CATCH collided entering the back straight losing three lengths and they stayed back from there to the finish. |
| Race 5 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3 - C3 - 305 | General tightening from inside and out at the start resulted in checks to EMPTY BANK, HOMEBUSH LIMBO and WHEELIE GOOD and they settled back. WHEELIE GOOD then raced wide over extra ground on the bend. |
| Race 6 | INTER-ISLANDER SUMMER FESTIVAL 29TH DECEMBER C3 - C3 - 520 | CAWBOURNE BUTTSY shifted out slightly going into the first bend and checked TRICKY ZORRO which lost a length. CAWBOURNE BUTTSY continued to lay out and forced CHLOE'S PRODIGY and PSEUDONYM wide on the bend over extra ground. |
| Race 7 | THE DOGZONE C4 - C4 - 520 | JESSIE SURFS was slow to begin and settled back. BARRY'S WAY checked off the heels of SPEED LEGEND going into the first corner and lost three lengths and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 8 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C5 - C5 - 305 | WHEELIE RASCAL, ALL IN BERLIN and OPAWA SISTER came together and bumped when the start was made and they settled back and never made much improvement throughout the race. |
| Race 9 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI Spion Rose Consolation - C5 - 520 | HOMEBUSH KELSO and FORTIS FLIER were awkwardly placed in restricted room going into the first bend and they were shuffled back to the rear where they stayed throughout the race. |
| Race 10 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI Spion Rose Final - C5f - 520 | JAWLAA, ROYAL RUNNER and CAWBOURNE BRIGHT brushed together for a short distance after the start and lost a little ground. |
| Race 11 | WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ Dash For Cash Consolation - C5 - 305 | SUPER ZIP ZIP was very slow to begin losing four lengths. WHY OH WHY and SUPER ROOSTER shifted ground at the start and LITTLE REGUS which was drawn between was tightened and checked losing two lengths. ENAZUMA shifted out slightly going into the bend and hampered ALLEGRO MASTER which was unbalanced for a short distance and drifted back to eventually finish in 7th place. |
| Race 12 | WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ Dash For Cash Final - C5f - 305 | ALLEGRO CHASER shifted in abruptly from the start and caused jostling and checks to ALLEGRO CLASS, BUMP, ZIPPING JYE and SPRINKLES which all lost sme ground as a result. ZIPPING JYE shifted out going into the bend and hampered BUMP, ALLEGRO CLASS and NO LEAF CLOVER and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
