Judicial report: OHOKA COBY (L Waretini) completed a satisfactory trial without blinkers as per Rule 68.22 and will compete without blinkers in his future races. Trainer C Weir (represented by S Nissen) admitted a breach of Rule 68 when presenting CAWBOURNE AXE 10 minutes late for kennelling and was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table. Handler K O'Connor was reminded of her obligations in respect of the dress code when catching a dog.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	FANTASTIC FOUR (2), WILL EXCITE (4) and OPAWA COLIN (5) were the last trio on jumping. HERSHY PIE (3) and LAREDO (6) bumped for a stride in the early stages. FLY CANARY FLY (1) faltered into the bend and lost ground with the favourite LAREDO being badly inconvenienced in behind and losing her chance. HERSHY PIE checked outwards off the back of FANTASTIC FOUR on the home turn and pushed MAKER'S LABEL (7) and OPAWA COLIN wider on the track. FLY CANARY FLY was referred to the vet for assessment following this event.
Race 2	Totalvets Stakes - C3 - 520	CHLOE'S PRODIGY (6) was a clear last on jumping. KNOW SECURITY (1) angled outwards in the early stages tightening HOMEBUSH VIOLET (2) and KNOW CERTAINTY (3). HOMEBUSH VIOLET was again checked shortly after and lost ground. OPAWA MICHELLE (4) crossed to the rail into the first bend checking KNOW SECURITY who ran outwards pushing KNOW CERTAINTY and BRIGHTON BULLET (7) wider on the track.
Race 3	Apatche Jet & Mamaja At Stud Sprint - C5 - 295	ANOTHER JEWEL (2), ONLY GOT TIME (4) and OSCAR TUIVASA (8) were the last trio on jumping. WANDY LUCK (3) ran inwards at the jump colliding with MR. WHIPPY (1) for a stride.
Race 4	Circle Track Engineering Stakes - C4 - 520	DEANNE'S FANTASY (9) was hard to box in this event with this bitch to be boxed first in its upcoming engagements. OPAWA JED (1) and HIS LORDSHIP (4) were the last pair on settling. BLACK CROW (3) was tightened in between BILLY WEST (2) and AMBILIGHT (5) in the run to the first bend and lost momentum. AMBILIGHT was checked into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 5	Know Peace & Clone Your Own At Stud Dash - C5 - 295	CAPTAIN'S CHOICE (8) was a clear last at the jump. HOMEBUSH KELSO (3) was checked into the bend and lost ground with STARBURST TERRY (1) being badly inconvenienced and running outwards pushing CAPTAIN'S CHOICE wider on the track. CAWBOURNE DASHER (4) checked off the back of RUSTY KNIFE (2) on the home turn and ran inwards causing the trailing WANDY GRANT (6) and HOMEBUSH KELSO to be hampered.
Race 6	Casswood Rugs Dash - C4 - 295	ADROIT (5) was last to jump. NO LEAF CLOVER (2) angled inwards into the bend and checked BIG MUDDY (1) who dropped to the rear. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (8) was tightened into the bend and lost a length with BIG MUDDY again receiving a check in behind.
Race 7	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C5 - 520	CAWBOURNE PHILIP (5) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. WHAT I LIKE (7) and CAWBOURNE AXE (4) both ran wide on the first bend.
Race 8	Vital Petfood Sprint Final - C1f - 295	KNOW KNOWING (6) crossed quickly to the inside causing tightening to SMOKING MARLEY (5), BUSINESS REVIEW (4), GO TOMMO (3) and GOLDSTAR CHYNA (2). On the home turn SMASH EASY (8) checked outwards off the heels of the pacemaking KNOW KNOWING and badly checking DEE (7) who lost ground.
Race 9	Petware Ltd Maiden Distance Feature - C0d - 645	OPAWA PEARL (7) and OPAWA HALLY (8) were the last pair to jump. CAWBOURNE ABBI (6) crossed to the rail into the first bend taking the line of PUNCH ON JAIME (3) who fell. PUNCH ON JAIME completed the race and was referred to the vet for assessment. SCOTSOME POWER (1) and OPAWA HALLY were both hampered by the faller. KNOW AMBITION (4) angled outwards on that bend checking CAWBOURNE MIAMI (5) for a stride. CAWBOURNE MIAMI checked outwards in the home straight.
Race 10	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury GOTB Maiden Final - C0f - 520	MALCY (6) and OPAWA OPAL (8) were the last pair on jumping. TEEMIRO (5) and PASS WITH CARE (7) came together for a stride into the first bend. SPARROW (4) ran very wide around that bend.
Race 11	Kaiapoi I.T.M. Presidents Cup - C5 - 295	KERAMUS (4) was a clear last at the jump. ROQETTE (3) was checked and lost ground into the bend as CAWBOURNE QUEEN (2) angled outwards. SPUD GUN (8) was tightened and ran outwards on the bend checking KNOW ADVANTAGE (9) who lost ground.
Race 12	Business Time & Winsome Opawa At Stud Dash - C4 - 295	RED HOT FURY (5) was last to jump. MOTLEY MAN (4) received a check in the early stages. WELLYWOOD (7) angled outwards in the home straight pushing RED HOT FURY and IRISH BLUE (6) wider on the track. On watching the head on replay It was noted that the very strong wind in the back straight had blown the reserve number 9 off the front of the boxes with this lodging on the grill of the reserve runner. As this had no affect on the start of the race no further action was deemed necessary.
